@TheJacksterman Thanks so much, Jack! Really, stringed instruments and keyboard instruments are all similar. I'm not much of a drummer, but I can bang out enough to work with. But yeah, for better or for worse, everything I do is written, performed and recorded by me. That's probably why I can crank out an album every year - I don't spend time fighting a drummer who wants a 10 minute solo in the middle of a song or a guitarist who wants to explore his love of gypsy techno.

Really great song! It sounds awesome! The song sound like something that wasn't stressed over to be made perfect, it just was created that way. It also is sounding like you are expanding you musical flavor with altering tempos, neat piano fills, focusing closer on individual instruments, and other things, all of which is great to hear! It's so amazing to see musicians grow through their music. And what were you using to roll the symbols at 2:50? They look DIY, so cool points for that!

@ClarkJaman Thanks, Clark! Yeah, I have a pair of AKG C-414s, which I bought very early on. They're phenomenal mics for pretty much everything. I have a pair of cheap ribbon mics I use when I need a darker character, and a smattering of close mics for the drums, but otherwise, it's all 414.

It's quite impressive to see you working in the studio instead of the usual acoustical versions you present weekly. I never noticed the accordion before, I always thought it was the organ with a synthetizer.

@yinosanchez Thanks! And yeah, I love using the accordion. I have two of them, but that one's my favorite. It's in tune with itself, but unfortuantely, it's sharp. I always have to detune it by 12 cents to make it sound right. :D
