Can I buy the album somewhere online in a digital format like on iTunes? I really like to buy this, but I think the price is going to be quite high when it needs to sent to Europe :S
They are young, and in their early 20s, and full of energy, having been raised on a farm and home schooled. Also, the two sisters are self-taught, never having any formal instruction. Thanks for your interest. For more of their music, select various sea turtle 5-minute videos on YouTube under my handle, Coastal Digital
@CoastalDigital beautiful stuff. thank god this exists on the internet at least. I am an American of Scottish descent and this music absolutely speaks to me and is wonderful. thank you for posting it and promoting it.

Their CD is very special, too, including a poem, "Gifford Girl," they turned into music. This is a sad story and their music really tell the tale of this poor girl's suffering because of political differences.
This video could be dedicated to the home schooling of the Miller family of Lisbon, OH, primarily conducted by Ann Miller with support and assistance by her husband, Timothy Miller, a mining industry geologist. Five of their children were involved in The Hired Hands initial CD, "Something.." They were trained in the classics and were encouraged to do music, including two on the celtic harp and one on the violin. The younger brothers and sisters sing while doing dishes and chores.

@xkittykatsaymeow I'm a year late, but I believe this is an interpretation of "O'Keefe's Slide." Anyone care to verify or deny?

My hands would get tired easily if I played the harp. Whoever is playing in this piece is really good at what they do.
