@babygurlproductions1 I have also struggled with the locs. One of my reasons was my size also. I am thick. Well i have tried to loc 4 times ( 2 were loc extentions) and I ended up taking them down in about a months to a month in a half time. Now I have tried them again without any extentions. I have stuck to them because mentally I am ready and also the fact that my hair has a length about  3 1/2 inches I feel comfortable wearing it. Im in that uglysocalled stage but Im doing it so far

iv been watching loc videos for a while now and im so tired of the hassle of having to get my hair braided and blah blah blah ik this wont be a simple thing to get done and it wont be overnight but im scared to get locs honestly because theres always that if of what if it might not look right im a bit on the heavy side and not everything looks right on a thick girl so idk does anyone have any advice or if im being silly or yea...

@babygurlproductions1 sweetheart if you feel comfy with it then they are beautiful.. i went through an ugly phase with my locks but it was only for a season.now I am so proud and happy that i it didnt seem THAT bad..Locs are beautiful...just cause you feel you are "thick" doesnt mean you wont look right with them..Keep me posted

Man, I'm locking up this summer definitely. I've had perms since I was in the 7th grade, and I am now 19 years old and a freshman in college. I have always felt that perms defined me, but now that I see literally EVERYONE rocking this barbie weave shit, I feel like I want to be different. Plus that perms shit is too hard to manage,. Love this video. Sadly, many of these women have cut their beautiful locks, like Goapele, who was my inspiration, India Arie, and Natalie Stewart. Erykah's locks were fake, but she rocked them. 6 years strong and loving it ;)
