  • Pulls me back to the first time big beautiful black lips whispered in my ear: "B-A-B-Y"! HE WAS SO SWEET AND MADE ME WEAK ... OH, HOW I LOVED TO HEAR HIM CALL ME B-A-B-Y WHILE MAKING WRONG THINGS FEEL SOOOO RIGHT! I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT...

  • @jimarojfm Make wrong things right - Ah yeah - Carla Thomas

  • This was the song that introduced me.... and turned me on to.... Soul Music. I was in the 9th grade. Within 2 years I was playing in a soul band. Stax/Volt: the absolute best!

  • my pops sang with this lady back in the day, great song

  • I was looking this for years!!! Thank you so much for this soulful gem!!!

  • What a gem of a Motown song (I only mean Motown as a genre, because it was obviously released by the legendary Stax Records of Memphis). It should have many more than 7,945 views. I had not ever heard this song until I heard it on a local public radio show which plays Blues, Motown, and Soul a couple of months ago. How sad...

  • Thank you!

  • I want this vinyl!!!!!

  • @bellibulle1

You will never find it on vinyl...

  • @IkeDyson71 How come? :-(

  • @bellibulle1

I have it on vinyl on an old Atlantic album from 1968 called |"This Is Soul". 1968 - that's 42 years old. You would have to search for a very long time to find this on vinyl now...

You can get it on cd almost anywhere though.

  • @IkeDyson71 What a shame... It's gonna be hard... But I have found a vinyl from Robert Johnson, so I still have faith!! I hope to be lucky again!!

  • @IkeDyson71 Good for you:)))I have this album too:))

  • @IkeDyson71 I'm sure on LP it would be pretty hard to find, or maybe just expensive, but you can get this 45 for like $5 plus shipping on ebay at any given time.

  • @dvo1919

The last time I had it on vinyl was on the Atlantic "This Is Soul" LP from 1968, which I bought in 1978. I have it crystal clear on MP3 already.

    Give bellibulle1, above, the info!
