I have CP and found that massage really helps me. I am 21 years old. My PT and I am interested in back and chest massage. And how you massage Zack now that he is older.
@msack9 OK. We'll try and get one up in the next three months or so. Things are a bit busy and slammed at the moment, but when we get a breather and have a free weekend couple of hours, we'll try and knock it out.

As a massage therapist myself and a teacher of baby massage this was so wonderful to watch Renee do Zach's massage. I have a little boy with CP in my class and I will take these strokes and Renee's attitude to this family as an inspiration! I am working at someone elses computer so this isn't my email! Wow, you guys are dedicated parents. That's quite a blessing to have a massage therapist for a mother. I can see how much more flexible your son is compared to some other children who have CP. Goodluck, and it will be fun to see him progress! Can't wait to see him play JV tennis or baseball!

This is wonderful that she can do this and know what she's doing, when the therapist shows me I always feel like I'm not quite doing it right. My daughter just recently had botox in her arms that has made a big difference.
Awesome news on the botox. We go in at the end of the month for another round as well. It is a blessing to have Renee skilled in massage, but any parent can do it for their child. You kiddo will let you know what hurts too much and what is good. Just respond to that, but also don't be afraid to push them because stretching requires some discomfort and pushing.
