  • If this is really over unity you should be able to construct it in a closed loop and put a magnet array on the outside mount to the rotor shaft and produce ac without cost. I also would say that using a non ferrous material in the rotor shaft would probably produce better results. Ferrous materials will become magnetized themselves which could potentially slow the rotor via magnetic slaving.

    One of my free energy big heroes is J. Newman. Because he get it and he wants us all to get it! He is not a selfish man like so many free energy inventors. Go read his book - it's all in there, and he wants you to understand it! The secret of his succes is that he is thorough and don't take anything for granted. Remember to buy a big big coil with a small small dia. wire. And make the pulse so short that the electrons won't leave the other end of the coil.:-)

  • Not to seem ignorant or anything, but to me all that looks like is a simple electric motor and a simple alternator, where as the first coil is converting electrical energy to mechanical energy, and that mechanical energy is being converted back into electrical in the second coil. It's no breakthrough, you're doing no more than just hooking up the LED to two AA batteries. Tell me why I'm wrong.

  • One thing you may want to look into though is counter electromotive force. If you were to short the leads going to the LED, the coil underneath would fight the rotation of the magnet because the load from the short would bog the motor down. Kinda like when you pop the clutch too fast on a manual car and stall it. The wheels and transmission dont make power, they simply just deliver it. However what you did build is possibly the worlds first solid state electronic transmission. Keep expirmenting!

  • Some more advanced theory to increase power delivery to the LED or another motor, youcould increase the windings of the bottom coil and vary the amount of powered delivered varying the distance from the magnetic flywheel/motor to the collector(bottom coil) This would vary the amount of load on the drive train. Hook a car motor to the magnet drive and the collector coil to electric motors and now you have a hybrid electric transmission drive train.

  • You are a genious. You mounted magnets on a screw driver, and a bowl for this Newman motor. Newman motor has been around for years electornic students use it on labs to learn about electricity. Great Job on using what is available! Thanks for sharing.

  • the more you load the secondary the more you resist the spining of the magnet, all the power is comming from the batteries. what is new here??? batties die you device dies no charging is possible because you will have losses in your coils.

  • Basically here, the bateries are just acting as capacitors. There is some kind energy that passes in between your two coils and some of it is being trapped in the circuit. At least, this is what I believe :)

  • Chuck the secondary coil on my newman machine stops the magnet as soon as i close the circuit,

    the wire in the driver coil is 0.8mm in thickness and the pickup coil consists of the same weight in wire but is 1.25mm in thickness and obviously has less turns but it should still produce a voltage not stop the magnet, why is it doing this.

  • its it ok to use Stainless steel as the  spining rod? or just steel? will the metal in the rod ,in your case the (screew driver) wouldnt it attract to the magnifying coils and inturn slow it down?

  • I think you will find that the kind of voltage or current induced in a coil by a magnet produces only AC power. If you care to look at some of my Bedini Videos, i state and prove this. All my coils outputs are connected to full wave bridge rectifiers which convert induced AC into usable DC.

  • it is a pulsed dc because it is sending that pulse out when the coil is disconnected from

  • the input is a pulsed dc but the output from the secondary coil is ac. you show this by the fact that the led lights up with the coil facing either way... i think the transformer action between the coils would induce an AC in the secondary because of the field collapse overshooting the original voltage, and interactions with the rotor magnet would also induce AC in the secondary... search for u.s. patent 3913004 by robert alexander, it uses a similar concept in a different way...

  • try using two leds in parallel, one facing either way, to prove the point...they should both flicker, one after the other...

  • Hey Chuck2na, running nicely there. Do you think in one of your videos that you could go over the way you are doing the switching and talk about how the coil is made? I'd like to try to replicate this. I'm still jazzed at how you did the high voltage thing with the cymbal... very cool.

  • not pulsed dc. its an ac signal but the led will only light up on half of the cycle.

  • very cool, I keep thinking of a 3X3X3 grid of Newman machines. The instant invention is that the second coil can also have an axle :-)

    The best effect is with each magnet having 2 coils, so 4 coils would be enough for a stack of 3.(saving 2 coils)
