I've got this one too!!!......It's a monkey on a leash. Note the cigar in the man's hand ....the girl running....the lady fishing.....count the # of parasols...notice the girl who's picked some flowers..she's taken off her hat and set it on the grass. So much going on in this one. And it's huge...10 feet by 7 feet or so....saw it at the Art Institute of Chicago. The painting is featured in the 1986 film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off " too.

yes, back in college I studied french impressionism/expressionism and Seurat's "pointillism" was something I remember well..they even immortalized his famous painting in the stage musical "Sunday in the Park with George"--Patinkin did a GREAT job in that.

I love how you have this Know Your Artist miniseries. Just enough cuteness to tide me over every day. Also, I five-starred simply for the awesome chipmunk intro. I agree with what someone else commented in another video; I think the intro's too long for most people to sit through. I don't know if you've already done this, but it might be fun to see them do a puppet show with Van Gogh and "Davishee."
