  • <3 PERFECT!!!

  • she just keep on gettin' better and better till the BEST!!!

  • wat was the very first song and the third one?

  • @ItalianVampire64 "Walkin' After Midnight" by Patsy Cline... both clips are the same song.

  • Although in ways i loveeee her new deeper tone and huskiness, it breaks my heart to think she wont always be able to hit these notes.

  • You totally forgot the Lies G5 belts.

Those are the best IMO :D

  • what song was d5?

  • @MrKkisling14 walk away and don't let me stop you.

  • Where was the first MLWSWY from? It looks like an awards show??

  • not a C6.. it was the guitar.. why else would he be playing with his fingers positioned that high... think about it... and she has trouble sustaining anything above G5... so i doubt that it would be a C6...

  • I love the walk away note from GMA right?

Where is the full performance of that?

  • Damn at 4:52 one of her backup singers belted a G#5 while kelly was doing her f#5. I reckon it was jill :P

  • I doubt it i heard nothing o.O they only sing after she belts not when she belts lol :D

  • Really? Try again... See kelly starts her F#5 belt at 4:52 with the CEEEEEEE then at 4:54 you her a clear G#5 from behind (while kelly's still doing her F#5). She then stops at 4:55 and you hear yet another g#5 from behind at 4:56. Kinda hard to miss xD

  • youre wrong

  • Comment removed

  • @kellyclarksonismygod no no no my friend, kelly held the F#5. sing it for yourself if you must. She would Not hold a G#5 in this day and age. plus it's always been this way. maybe she does one if she goes up at the end of the note idk. idremember from the two seconds ago that i listened to it, but she holds an F#5

  • Can anyone please tell me what r the names of the songs that she hits high F# n' G ?

  • F#5 - "Never Again" (three clips in a row), "Since U Been Gone" (two clips in a row), "Miss Independent," "All I Ever Wanted," "Miss Independent" (three clips in a row), "Piece of My Heart"

G5 - "Walk Away" (two clips in a row), "Walkin' After Midnight" (five clips in a row)

  • Thnx ^.^ I do really appreciate ur kindness= I mean it :D

  • all i ever wanted, since u been gone, miss independent, walk away, walking after midnight,

  • Thnk u!

  • OMG SHE ROCKSSSSSS THOSE C6 are PERFECT !

  • what is the 1:16 Eb5!? where is that fromm

    pppllzzz

  • kaldude8 - "My Life Would Suck Without You" on Operacion Triunfo.

  • She has improved on her low notes this year especially on her new album.

Her high notes i like her F5s alot more than before :D.

I wish i could belt like her and have my voice sound as good as that.

And also i agree she needs to move to country and bluesy stuff i love her music but damn if she would do big band stuff or bluesy/jazz stuff omfg i would die in a good way :D

  • she's amazing OMG

  • What is the last song and performance where she hit the C6 note?

  • FRED542789 - The song is "Home" by Marc Broussard. The performance is from Universal Mardi Gras on 3-28-09.

  • Great vid! Kelly is the best!

  • I would love KC to sing some blues, she's got the voice and maturity for it, leave this pop stuff to Britney.

  • wtf whit c6 note ¬¬ ... is lower than G5 ¬_¬

  • uh. excuse me???

  • I hear the c6 note lower than g5... is only mi ear or is it lower? :S

  • Its kinda hard to hear...theres much debate about it.

  • um its a C6 like it or not

  • I wasnt trying to take the shine off it. I was trying to be diplomatic in my explanation to someone else...truth is, I am probably actually a bigger fan of Kelly Clarkson than you. So shhh:)

  • lol ok thats wassup, and a bigger fan then me is impossible haha

  • I'm no expert but the C6 was really high.

  • @abramquilantans well i think if you listen to it again i know what you are saying it sounds an octave lower but listen again and its aas high as it really sounds lol hope you can hear it

  • Im just kinda guessing here but is the farther the note on this mini alphabet, higher the note? Also, is F the highest or is G.

  • Yup, the notes are displayed in ascending order. Therefore, C5 is the lowest, C6 is the highest.

    The order of notes in an octave is: C, D, E, F, G, A, B...then back to C. a C note starts and ENDS each octave. So if we're doing the 5th octave, as I did in this video, it's: C5, C#5 (sharp), D5, Eb5 (flat), E5, F5, F#5 (sharp), G5, and then finally C6.

    I didn't include G#5, A5, Bb5, or B5 because Kelly didn't belt those notes this year....that's why there's the gap between G5 and C6.

  • She is def one of the best singers to ever cross my ears. She looked bigger than I expected in one of them but her voice still sounded great. Just wish she wasn standing in the dark.

  • She is easily the best singer out there. I would like to see Beyonce or Britney spear do this. Bet they couldn't.

  • @shorty2241 well, brittney definitely not, but Beyonce is actually quite talented

  • @shorty2241 lol britney spears haha why did you even mention her name in the same category as kelly haha

  • i am also very happy to see her singing sober again...that is my absolute favorite kelly clarkson song and one of her most heartfelt imo

  • When did she sing "Sober" again? Can you link me, please?

  • yeah, i just found the recent performances also

here's one thats dated at a 11/6/09 concert

    watch?v=2tYpUt9ELkE

and here's one the next day

    /watch?v=ZjaVnsbt50c

  • here is prolly the best performance of sober i have heard kelly sing it was on 11/29/09

    /watch?v=HnOzlqKV5q8

maybe when you add some updates to this video you could include some of the belts from this performance

  • Yea the new note she added to Sober has been CRAZY. And she's been nailing the high line as well, I think it's a little lower than the studio version but still amazing nontheless.

  • yeah i think its a little lower also but still sound awesome. it is quite possibly my fav song from her

  • what perfeomnce was 1:13

  • Operacion Triunfo in Spain. her BEST performance ever of MLWSWY imo.

  • It was a good performance, but in my opinion i think it was in Canada at the Much Music Video Awards. That performance was WHOA! It could've been the die-hard fans showing their appreciation for Kelly.. But either way I love All her performances!

  • @mellynumerounoo My life would suck without you = MLWSWY?

  • @chocopink92 yes

  • HOW MANY OCTAVE RANGE IS E3 TO C6?

  • 2 octaves and 6 notes....so almost 3 octaves.

  • wow..tnx for the reply.. take care

  • great

  • thank you so much for planning to revamp this mel! her G5s this tour sound a lot stronger and clearer than the ones on her summer tour. same with her E5s in Seven Nation Army, and the F5s in Ready and All I Ever Wanted

  • Aww, my comments are gone! I was going to come respond to the one I never finished.

LOL, it was me who said 'here comes the high note!' Hahaha, I didn't think you'd be able to hear it. :X

The video for 'CC' is HOT, but yeah... it's kind of pointless. Still one of her better videos, though. At one part, it looked like she was doing the 'Single Ladies' dance, LOL.

  • What do you mean your comments are gone? lol. I didn't remove any comments. That's weird.

Anyway, I'm going to revamp this video as soon as she finishes this leg of the tour. Lots of new notes to use. She did a G# in "Walk Away" last week.

  • I'm not sure, they're just... gone.

Really?! Could you give me a link to that 'Walk Away' performance? I haven't seen it yet.

I know she's been hitting some crazy G5s in 'Walking After Midnight' the past few shoes.

  • LOL, your comments are still there. They're just all the way at the bottom because they were the first comments posted. Just click "show all comments."

and I sent you the "Walk Away" video.

  • Holy moly. She really has improved with her upper register this year I think. The G5s are back and they sound absolutely awesome in Walking After Midnight! Such an awesome singer....

  • oh kelly is the best

  • Love that she keeps going higher. The note she kept hitting in 2008 was an F#5 and now she's going up to G5 ! Great

  • I love her! She's amazing!

  • LOVE THE ZOOTOPIA CLIPS!! she was on point that night!!!!...also the last clip of HOME is AH-MAY-ZING!

  • i LOVE it mel, great job!

  • lol i bet you were surprised that i finally uploaded it.

  • haha i was a little bit! im glad you did though, its great. :)

  • then at 3:45 she briefly hits a F#5 then she hits a E5

  • at 25 the trouble with love is i think thats a C#5 she actually briefly hits a E5 then its a C#5 :)

  • oh, so I guess i labeled it correctly the first time lol.

  • lol yup yup :)

  • she's simply amazing!!

  • um shes not raspy now its called soul :)

  • ummmmm actually her voice is better then ever, has she ever belted a C6 before?no i dont think so

  • are you stupid ???

this is 2009 how you could say she is raspy now ???

did you see her last live perormance ??

  • Ehh yeah I saw her performance at Diva's Live with Melissa Ethridge.

  • A third account Mel? Haha, well whatever floats your boat. Love the vid and Kelly!

  • yup! i'm mostly going to be using this one now, though. thanks for noticing, btw! :D

  • you did reallllllllllllllllllly good mel,and i agree with repentyourself i like cowboy casanova to,but you already knew that cause we had talked about it lol, great video really

  • wow you did a amazing job, love this video 4real

  • GREAT video!

Haha, one of the videos you used is one of mine that I recorded from her concert here in Tucson. :P

I love the F#5 at 4:44, during the last 'since you've been gooooooone.' SO good. I also love when she hits the G5 during 'Walking After Midnight.'

The 'All I Ever Wanted' era has definitely been one of Kelly's better eras, vocally. It's definitely an improvement over the 'My December' era, and the later part of the 'Breakaway' era.

By the way, is this CFNumeroUno?

  • LOL, which video is yours? I'll credit you if you'd like.

I agree, overall the "All I Ever Wanted" era is vocally almost as good as the early "Breakaway" era.

and yes, it's me...I guess you can say that I'm explanding my youtube empire, lmao. I basically just combined xoxmellymelxox and cfnumerouno lol, so people would know it's me.

  • Oh no, no credit needed, just thought it was funny, lol. Mine is the 'Miss Independent' video at 4:51.

Yeah, I agree. I doubt we will ever get another performance as good as 'Miss Independent' on AOL Sessions, or 'Since U Been Gone' at Napster.

LOL, I noticed that it was kind of a combination of your two usernames... I knew it, haha.

Also, this is way random, but I LOVE 'Cowboy Casanova.' I can no longer call myself a Carrie hater, LOL. :P

  • oh, your video is great quality! was that you who said, "here comes the high note!"? lol

I think she still has it in her to deliver vocal performances like those, her voice just needs to be well-rested. She's toured a LOT over the past couple of years. Her voice was very very fresh in those ones you mentioned.

Glad you like CC! I watched the video, and she looked good, but the whole thing is kinda lame and pointless imo lol. and I never really considered you a "hater" anyway. ;)
