I visited this railway in Sept. 2008 just as Braunton was out of the shed. It had no blinkers or third cylinder but looked magnificent. Sadly I never got to see her in steam. So thanks a lot for this video. It really brings back good memories of W.S.R. ...........An old railway guy from the north-east. p.s. I did get some good pics of it. T.
I spent a year working on it when I was full time at the williton yard.
Theres 2 sand feeder filling tubes together next to the name plate (each side)... (should only be 1, but Braunton will spend most of it's time on WSR going backwards, so it needed extra reverse sand feeders)
It was one of my jobs to design, make and fit 2 extra sand feeders.
Not a nice job going under to loco over and over each day... but nice to be able to say I added a big part to it :p

Nice videos there Ads. Nice shots of the locos at Minehead and of 34046 departing. Each video is getting better.
