1) deploy sentry&teleport as close to the frontline as possible, tele in unexpected place;

2) rape everyone with a wrench/shotgun (regardless friend or foe). Otherwise you would get pwned by an enemy spy (if he wasn't such a dumbass);

3) quickly move buildings if necessary;

4) quickly switch weapons when attacked to save buildings & kill Pyros/Spies.

You did none of that. You behave like an ordinary amateur.

You don't have to use minisentries to play offensively. The fact that you can move any of your buildings means you can play an offensive role with any weapon loadout. And it is very effective if done properly.

If you're going to play engi, the least you can (and should) do,

is actually attack someone with your shotgun or pistol.

Just because your sentry is your main offense doesn't mean you just sit behind it the whole time. That, and the "Gotta move that gear up" thing as well. If this was a CTF map, I could see this being more effective, but not this map.

I agree Sentries are okay for 1 or two kills but a well placed tele can net your team infite number of kills. Plus the tele/dispenser combo is far more beneficial than anything else the engineer can offer.

I think the main job for offense is support, to help my team a bit I slap a sentry in the Enemies face, the expressions they make are priceless.

if the point is alone and noone is defending it (rage spy/sniper) then yes, otherwise it would be dumb for a sole engineer to do that on a map that requires startegic defensive like this one.

For the most part, the red team probably had quite a couple of sentry guns and heavy/demos defending it. The point is: rushing to cap as an engi in this kind of map is a bad idea

I had to use Sony Vegas to keep the quality decent, because I just can't find a proper way to make HD videos using Premiere Pro CS4.

The video is a wmv, if I recall.

Don't stretch the video at all, there is a mode on the clip section when you right click on it, it's called "Interpret Footage" there will be a drop down window that gives you some screen sections and you can use it to change the type of video window.

Then when you're done making the video, export it as a MPEG 2.
