I am so glad to find someone else who has the same type of hair like myself!! I am dominican and my hair is SUPER curly!! I can't never find the right products! Like yourself, I just go on a trial and error mode...never finding the correct products!! I will try the products you mentioned...my hair type is the same as yours!! This makes me happy!! Like you also mentioned...not everyone understands "curly" hair..very happy to have found your youtube page!! Looking forward on trying your hair tips!

I used to use the Ojon restorative treatment until I found out extra virgin coconut oil does the EXACT same thing! Saved me a lot of money! :)

I think its good to have a variety of shampoos and conditioner's. I went to beauty school and my instructor's told us the hair will get use to a conditioner if you constantly use it and just not really do its job so... good for you and all your products. As long as they WORK.

do u have anything you put in your hair between shampooing because I notice with my hair my curls dont look nice without me washing my hair everyday. And im definitely going to try some of the other products u use. I have products that I use in my hair now that work well but there not the best for my hair

I think you would really like Trader Joe's Moisturizing Conditioner. It's in a white tall bottle with light blue/green top. It's like $2.99 and does the same thing as the Wen. It even lathers a little bit and gives amazing slip for detangling.

@abeni1118 I use it the night before I shampoo and leave it overnight, but they say you can leave it for only 20min but i prefer overnight

wow, first i wanna say your hair looks incredible..with that being said...therese no way im putting that much product in my hair...period! i have nat thick frizzy curly hair, not kinky im puertorican so if you know the hair type...but my daughter is 25% black and as much as i love my baby her hair is a slight nightmare..but bottom line heres my question....you have only 3 products to take on a deserted island ok i'll give u 4 out of alll that stuff what 4 will you just die without

Did you find that the Eco style gel dried your hair??? I just tried it for the first time and it seems to make my hair dry/filmy.Normally I use mixed chicks leave in and Rusk's wired cream. I added it to the mix for an extra hold...maybe I used too much.

Ive used it alone with just my cantu shea butter and it did leave it a little dry. But when I use it on top of my Mixed Chicks it gived me that extra hold. I use a nickle size amount, noy much at all. && I dont shinglr it through I just pat on my trouble area and scrunch the rest into the rest of my hair...if that makes sense?!

your hair isnt too much like mine, my curls are alot tighter, but i'm going to try a few of the products you use, i already use mixed chicks leave-in though, you should try their deep conditioner, its really really good ;D

I didn't really like the deep conditioner, the Pantene works a lot better for me, but I use it sometimes as a deep conditioner overnight. Thank you for ur comment and watching my video!

also, if you want to try another leave-in i use paul mitchell's leave-in conditioner..the bottle is huge and around $30..lasts a long time (my hair is longer than yours as well). so far its the best leave-in i've used

@marmorala It does seem like that, everyones is either more or less curly than mine. I have tried the paul mitchell if its with the light blue top. But the mixed chicks is great because it moisterizes and has hold. To straighten my hair I use a large round brush then go back in an flat iron with a thermal protector spray.
