Insilico is well designed, but unfortunately there is no real residential community there (or at least, not anymore). Like so many other city projects in SL, it's really just a visual centrepiece and mall.

Does this city still have an active community or has it become a ghost town?

@Adultguj Its relatively active, but you wont find too many people walking around so you will most likely have to ask for people to RP with in the group chat. Its more populated when there are actual coordinated events going on, such as the weekly gathering at React0r, an android strip club. The website (insilico.ning.com) is more active than the sim.

@LotusDragon09 dont forget fus10n on Saturdays! Been at least one iTunes gift card given away every saturday for a while now. Just a homestead sim so only 20-some people can be there

I havent logged into SL for a long time and never said anything about temporarily leaving so I hope they havent forgotten me ;). Been busy lately (and distracted by other games), which I guess is a good thing. I might come back soon. I sort of miss talking to them :).

The Blue Ant was moved. The pizza shop is gone but a nice cafe is there in its place.

Atonement wasnt around when this was filmed, and that builder (Not Skills Hak, Thorne Dreadlow did it) is making an effing amazing temple. Fus10n, the cyber brothel for technofetishists, is open and packed every saturday & features a DJ. Reakt0r still has sundays with different DJs, and the club/cafe where the pizza shop is also has events on saturday (a bit before fus10n's event). Come check it out!

@tailsdareaper Well, William Gibson, after first visiting Tokyo, said that it is cyberpunk, or at least the closest thing that currently exists. I don't remember the exact quote--just search for it. I haven't been there yet, but from some of the pictures I've seen, I'd tend to agree.

@LotusDragon09 Could just be that it's too much for the graphics engine. I've seen games using tops 20% of my systems resources and lagging like hell.

@xxhellspawnedxx I think youre right because there are more people complaining of lag than there should be. I did see a big improvement in performance when I got my upgrade, so im sure people with really high end computers can run SL flawlessly.
