It is a shame push push are no longer around they were good in their day. I remember when they first came out they entered a video clip on shazam battle of the bands and won from memory it was a song called 220volts at the time the drummer was ken green who is mikeys cousin that was the last time I saw that video was when I was at kens place. Also I met Mikey when he was running the squid bar behind hotel debretts

Went to see The Exponents at Mount Maunganui Soundshell back in '91 and Push Push were their backing group..and Push Push were a THOUSAND times better than The Exponents!! Fuckin awesome & Song 27 their best by far, a song you'll never forget..its a shame they never went any further :-(

I met andy kane in sydney in 96....quite by chance......he was doing soundwork for a tv station there.....push push finished cos mikey walked out on them. Andy reckoned I was the only person who'd ever recognised him...lol
