I saw this video for the first time on TV recently and I swear to God I thought it was a forgotten gem from Ugly Kid Joe or Skid Row. Well done, Havoc
Push Push they werent to bad , Havoc 's greatest gig was Claire Chitham "Waverly from Shortland Street the lucky bastard ,She is as sweet as Honey and straight from Heaven , But them she called "Stumps" on Havoc and He had to Push Push OFF OFF!!
Must bring back this band omg Mikey Havoc i used to hate you and think you were a waste of space coz you have no talent but seeing you do this I was misstaken where did that voice coem from. It's like a mix of Alice in Chains Skid Row Candle Box and Ugly Kid Joe. Mikey Havoc if you are out there and read this please get yourself back with the band and put on one more show.
Did anybody noticed at about 0:52 Andy Kane goes to do one of those crazy rock guitarist twirls and does an epic face plant? I remember seeing that when the video first came out! HAHAHAHA!
Haha yeah I remember that from when I first saw it. I guess no one else has noticed cause there has been no mention of it. Epic epic faceplant haha awesome
not there best, close tho, check out; love my leather jacket, beatin up bullfrogs, an 1 other song i dont koow the nane of, (blow me throw me? high cost of lovin you?)
It is a shame push push are no longer around they were good in their day. I remember when they first came out they entered a video clip on shazam battle of the bands and won from memory it was a song called 220volts at the time the drummer was ken green who is mikeys cousin that was the last time I saw that video was when I was at kens place. Also I met Mikey when he was running the squid bar behind hotel debretts
Man these guys and Supergroove rocked my world back in highschool! Beats any of the fake indie wannabe 70s shite or candy pop being sold at the NZ Music sell out awards thats for damn sure!
Went to see The Exponents at Mount Maunganui Soundshell back in '91 and Push Push were their backing group..and Push Push were a THOUSAND times better than The Exponents!! Fuckin awesome & Song 27 their best by far, a song you'll never forget..its a shame they never went any further :-(
I met andy kane in sydney in 96....quite by chance......he was doing soundwork for a tv station there.....push push finished cos mikey walked out on them. Andy reckoned I was the only person who'd ever recognised him...lol
Yep only a decent HiFi system can do this justice, sounds so much better (awsome)than what you can get through here-as someone said here before if push push were yanks they would've kicked ass - one of my favs as a teenager always had it in the Holden, and i still think it rocks!
I was asked recently "where is your tape you had with Song 27 on it". Now i know why i have to find it as this song is their best and brings back some awesome memories of when i was teenager when i listened to it!!!!! Rock on!!!!!
I've been clearing out some retro clothing and a tie dye hoodie brought back memories of this band-probably wore it to a show! I'm sure I went to every Sydney show they played - wicked band and great songs! Must add these guys to my myspace - pity i can't find a myspace page in their honour.
man, flashback to teenage years awesome!! always loved this song. was on the soundtrack to a bodyboarding video, but not sure which one. ripping the pit maybe???
