Great cover. Does anyone else think Sammy in the picture kinda looks like a young chad smith I thought the guys in chickenfoot were messing about for a minute there
he did awesome opening for Boston! but i must say, from personal experience he didnt blow away with the ORIGINAL Boston he opened for, pretty damn close though!
I saw the debut tour of Boston with Sammy and if it wasnt for Boston being so big here in Boston, he would have smoked them right off the stage, which in my opinion he did anyway, awesome Live peformances from both, and i actually have a Studio Promo Release album with 1 song on each side, stamped Not For Sale, and yes 3 members of Boston did backup and instruments on it !
@plofus Hi, this is a UK release of this single produced in 1979 here. May have been released a year or two earlier in the US. The B-side is the track I've Done Everything For You. The song never made it to any of Sammy's original release's of his albums at that time, but is included on a later remasterd CD release of his Street Machine album. Hope that helps, Cheers!
I remember a friend's brother having this when I was in Jr. High. Never listened to it then but have to admit ol' Sammy did a pretty fair job on it! Not crazy about the musical arrangement, but Sammy sounds really good!
Can NOT believe this is posted! Thanks man! I was a Sammy fan from Montrose days on!

He has effectively removed any soul present in this song.

I forget what year it was but saw Sammy open for ZZtop at the old Boston Garden. Sammy ended it with Brad Delp on vocals singing Zep's Rock and Roll.
