of course thats a soprano
there are only SOPRANINOS (the real name of it) in saxophone families.
and there are plenty of curved sopranos. theres one at my school.
its funny, really how little people know

@tcabal1 Naw man, Sopraninos are smaller and have a higher pitch than sopranos. Also, Soprano - Bb and Sopranino - Eb

it's definitely a soprano....if you curved a sopranino, it would look more like a soprillo or something else really small...I've played a curved soprano, and this is one.

@jerkudin I'm pretty sure it's 1990 - I saw this when it first aired. Unless it was a repeat of an earlier broadcast...anyways, I saw it when it aired, whether it was the first airing or not.

It IS Miles reincarnated as a saxophonist! That small alto is a soprano maybe even sopranino. Not sure.

I'm pretty sure it's a sopranino, my instructor plays the soprano and it looks more like a big clarinet

I always confuse the 2 unless it's the straight soprano. But listening convinces me that you're right. The soparano has a much mellower pitch.
