  • Incredible! "The Marsh" has been a favorite of mine for years. This version with Tom on Chapman stick is amazing; Tom is outstanding! My wife is going to get sick of hearing this. :)

  • I've always thought this was the most beautiful song. Amazingly performed by Tom & Bert.....

  • What a great composition. I could definitely picture the section from 2:45 to 3:45 being used in a car or computer commercial- it's so catchy!

  • wow bald guys totally shred!

  • goosbumps in my heart it's one of a kind

  • Sweet Music! Dynamic and melodic with such great rhythm!

  • What album is this from?

  • @spazchicken1 I believe it's from the California Guitar Trio's "Whitewater" album

  • @spazchicken1 Tom & Bert also produced an album from this very event called—naturally—"Live at the Museum of Making Music."

You can find it on tossounds . com

  • @museumofmakingmusic Thank you for the info : ) I have a couple of there albums which I enjoy. I REALLY like this song. It's good "artists" music :D

  • Stunning.

  • "synicalprick" is a worthy name. lets see you play chapman stick. see Tom play live, then try to imagine yourself in an elevator (shaft).

  • "synicalprick" - a worthy name. try to listen closely & imagine yourself in an elevator (shaft).

  • im imagining him falling down an alevator shaft!

  • @synicalprick I wanna know where elevator music sounds like this. Because I would move there in a second.

  • @synicalprick Elevator music ROFLMAO nice one XD

  • Man, this is amazing stuff.

I saw both of these gents at Art Walk today, probably watched about two hours of their set. Really fantastic... a great day for music.

  • On a chapman stick, can you do harmonics such as artificials, naturals and pinches?

  • Naturals are just artificials with an open string, but because Chapman sticks usually have dampers engaged which prevent open strings from sounding, then naturals are usually not producible. But artificials and pinch harmonics are of course possible. Usually pinch harmonics are done with picks however (and high gain!).

  • thanks for giving us something higher to reach for!

  • Totally amazed at how beautiful this sounds. I can't stop listening to it. Well done guys. You've got me hooked!
