@sandra148fc1 and besides, the drug problem is global. The American drug cartels use different routes through different countries to smuggle the illegal hard drugs they love. For instance, they use the corrupt communist government of cuba as drug mules and the island as jump board to smuggle cocaine to the usa. Cuba is a corrupt communist narco-state and it must be intervened and democratized.

calderon under the advice of bush officials started this 'war' to distract attention from what used to be big economic and social problems, it worked, but this 'war' has gotten out of the govs control & has shown to the mexican citizens how weak the mexican gov has become, it had already lost control of parts of southern mexico to the zapatistas, and now is losing control of parts of northern mexico to the cartels, this will lead to more blood & big changes in mexico...hopefully for the better

Nope. We put a program in place to trace the weapons they claim the US brings in. Mexican authorities submitted less than 1/3 of the weapons they seized. Most of the weapons are comming from Central America
