The skulls serve as "bonus features" where if you turn them on before you play "Firefight" in Halo 3:ODST, special things will happen. You need to find a skull in-game before you can turn on its special feature, however. Each skull has a different special feature. It should be noted that the "special feature" always helps the enemy, not you. So then, why do you want them? Because the more skulls you have turned on in Firefight, the higher your score will be...MUCH higher.

Easy Citadel skull....turn into monitor mode, and fly up right next to it. Press "up" to switch back into spartan/elite and hold your grab button immediately. I just did it, dont see why ppl are messing around with items...

didnt work for me so i just build stairs because when i turned back into my character spartan then i appeared underneith and couldnt get it but i think ppl should just automatical go to this video its fun looking for the skulls and i found mine without using youtube or anyone and it was fun so people try finding it on your own!

hey guys, little tip that may help on the citadel skull. If you ndont wanna fart about using the grav lift jus spawn a weapons holder in forge mode and tilt it so that it points horizontally towards the skull. When u have placed it by the skull slowly bring it back towards you, the skull should come with it. It may fall of the holder a few times but jus be patient and you will get it. Jus tried it then so i know it works :)
