If you have told one lie, that makes you a liar. If you have stolen one thing, that makes you a thief. JESUS said; if you look at a person with lust, you commit adultery in your heart! Ever used GOD's name in vain; then your a blasphemer and can't enter GOD's kingdom! Revelation 21v8 says; "All liars will have their part in the lake of fire!" The bible says; No thief or adulterer will inherit GOD's kingdom! You broke GOD's laws; but JESUS paid your fine! Repent, and trust the Savior!
I like to see Christians tell it like it is, like Christ did. He didn't mince words with man, but told them like it was. I don't know where people get the idea Christ was all meek and mild. He was tough, he didn't hide, but up at the temple a lot to take on religious jews, he questioned people directly. He didn't let up.
"Christians do not want to force anything on you."...Are you kidding. They ram their beliefs down your throat with a broom stick, and then refuse to reciprocate by listening to or considering your side of spirituality.
@Amythyst1957 That's fundies. If people actually followed their faith correctly(I fail a lot too, though I don't ram theology down people's throats) we wouldn't have all this "you goin' ta hail cuz' you not got God" nonsense.
@TheUltimateWesker Christians do not want to force anything on you. It is a conversation that you have with someone that cares about you. I would also like to share about vitamins because I may have information that will benefit your physical body. Or what about a stranger who will offer a suggestion that you may need a jacket outside so you wont be cold.
So if you don't want to hear thats cool, say no thank you and move on.
As a person who was religious, but turned to spirituality, I get tired of people arguing over stuff like religion. There's nothing wrong with sharing your faith, but at the beginning on the video when he says "I have a friend that's not a Christian, can you talk to him for me" that seems fairly blatantly like an attempt at conversion, which is the issue I have. My response is: "Why does your religion have to be right?" My beliefs are mine and mine alone.
@mattman2900 - My answer to that question, for myself, is that the basis of what a Christian believes is that Jesus is the only way. If we kept that knowlege to ourselves, then we really don't believe what we believe, because Jesus told us to go and tell people about how he is the only way. So, if we are trully christians, that's our job to share Jesus with people because we want them to know Him too.
@yinka14 Sharing is fine, but when you continue to share when someone either has said thank you but Christianity is not for me and continue to pressure people into joining a specific religion is when it becomes a name calling game - as so many of the youtube comments in some other videos. But for me someone telling me I need to be Christian because another Christian says so, tells me I might be given the choice but it's highly influential...
@yinka14 (Cont) and for me that's not really giving those a fair choice. There's a difference between sharing your faith to those that seek it, ask for it and are curious as opposed to telling a random stranger they need to be Christian. I grew up Catholic until I was in my 20s. I'm not Catholic anymore, it wasn't for me, I am closer to a god or the Deity now than I ever was at Church. Religion can get skewed and not all Christians force their faith on others, but there are a lot that try.
@mattman2900 well, I can't speak for every christian on the plannet, I can only speak for myself. If I did choose to share my faith with a stranger (which sometimes happens), it's only because the subject came up, and I can't help but to tell them what I believe to be true.
@mattman2900 (cont) I don't tell them that they need to "convert" I just tell them what my own experience has been with God, and how amazing he is and that he loves them, I personally don't believe it's very productive to try to force anything on anybody, because it's a personal experience that they must choose of their own free will, but it won't stop me from sharing, you know?
as a priest, I don't think the best way to share about my faith is necessarily the intro the guy in the video is using of "have you heard about Jesus?" I think we're better off sharing our stories with another (having conversation & listening) and as we engage in conversation not leave the faith part out of our story. But that being said, the reason about not making sense... LOL at the "peas porridge hot?" line. :D Okay now back to watch the 2nd half of the video. Peace, Rev Lori
@SubconsciousGatherer Yep our faith is nothing but complete dung. So is gravity. And all the other laws that are completely observable, including Christianity.
@SubconsciousGatherer I would LOVE to explain it myself, but because of youtube's character limit, I'll have to suffice with letting a guy named, Apolonio do it. See his debate at philvaz (dot) com/apologetics/p18. He's a great apologist. Check out a couple more of his debates and articles.
@robloxbobeatspie If you don't have the space here, feel free to personal message me with your own thoughts. Please, make them your own thoughts. I've heard the claims of the apologists and I'm not impressed. I've watched countless debates, and all theist claims have been debunked. If you have some insight you'd like to share, I'm here to listen. Whatever you do, please don't tell me to listen to someone else in order to find out what it is *you* supposedly believe. Thanks.
@digimonrocks123 That is your opinion and you are welcome to it. I know one thing for sure, and that is you are just like 95% of people on You Tube. You can't write a single message without your little "LOL's," poor grammar skills, awful spelling and lack of punctuation. For heaven's sake, if you're going to put someone down, make sure you've got more going on upstairs than they do.
mathew 6:5 "but when you pray enter into your closet. and when you have shut your door pray to your father which is in secret, and when you pray do not be like the hipocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners." translated this means keep your bullshit to yourself.
You're afraid you might get beat up for talking about Jesus? I'm afraid it's the other way around in most areas. Might be made fun of? Again, same thing, it's the other way around in most areas. You'd get made fun of for not believing in Jesus.
Having watched the whole thing, overall well done. But I mist say that all 8 reasons apply to anyone of any faith, equally. Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Atheist, Buddhist, and so on. (I know atheism is not a "faith" in one context, but it does require "faith".) I just hope everyone appreciates that we ALL go through the same thing, no matter our belief.
"I gotta friend who isn't a Christian..." Ya, that'd be Jesus. He was a Jew. Probably a black Jew. This is where it starts. Christianity is simply Judaism with the edges trimmed off.
And I say this with true love to all my human brothers, Christian, Jewish, or regardless of faith. And of color. And of face-shape.
@Qermaq Agreed a lot of Christianity is the core roots of Judaism. But it's the fulfillment! You're saved! But the thing is, you have to take it on yourself. If you totally turn your back on God, commit numerous, horrible sins without repentance, then, chances are, you aren't going to go to Heaven. Just saying. :P
@Qermaq But God IS proven! There's millions of ways to prove God! Think about the Human Body. Think of all the systems and how they're intertwined. Think how complex they are. Think of the brain, and how much it processes every single second of your life. Think about how you reason and deduct. How could that be an accident? That's what evolution is. It's saying, "Oh, the sun and the ice and the water hit this rock just right and it became a dog." No! That's stupid? Who came up with that idea?
@robloxbobeatspie Yeah, you are ysing a definition of "proven" that is, simply, not the actual definition of "proven". It's the definition of "possible", and MAYBE "likely" to some. But the word "proven" is not a synonym for "possible" or "likely".
@robloxbobeatspie So it has been established with no sensible means of taking the view that it cannot be so? The thing is, with faith you cannot "prove" anything. You assume validity because it fits what you believe.
@robloxbobeatspie Why don't you prove the Easter Bunny, Santa and the Flying Spaghetti Monster do not exist? Now ask, did I ever ask for anything to be proven? Read again. No, I cannot prove my point and neither than you. But please do not insult my intelligence by falling into such obvious ruts of argument.
The whole point of faith is that it cannot be proven. Otherwise, it would not be faith. I am interested in what you have to say about Occam's Razor though.
@Qermaq If I have a car, and I say, "This car used to be a rock, and the sun and the rain hit it just right, and now it can drive and has a security system. This entire car used to be a hunk of rock." That would be idiotic, right? Well take the complexity of a car, and multiply it times 10. That's what evolution is. The only REALLY reasonable answer to life is intelligent design, or God. I know that many of you don't want to accept it, but if you truly think about it, it's the only way.
@robloxbobeatspie : Wrong, wrong, wrong. Evolution can actually be compared with the formation of snow. Every snow flake consists of one or more complex and unique crystals. In spite of it's complexity, it is really nothing but water that spontaneously arranged itself in a pattern due to specific atmospheric conditions. Mutation is similar, in the sense that it's a spontaneous rearragement of genes. Mutations really happen all the time. This process is evolution when looked at over a long period
@robloxbobeatspie Well, it is idiotic, just not in the way you claim.
Yes, every component of you car had a former state. To make a car, a human must tool that component into what it must become. Making an artificial thing requires hands and minds Enough on that.
Evolution is absolutely different. For instance, let's say some creatures develop 2 hands, others 1. The 2 hands have an advantage, let's say. Soon they live on and the 1 hands die. Then the species is traited with 2 hands then on.
@Qermaq That is the entry level description of evolution. I strongly suggest you learn a little about it before setting up absurd analogies as you have above, you will be taken more seriously.
@Qermaq I still don't see how Evolution disproves Intelligent Design. I believe that God is outside of time. Therefore, he may fiddle with creation without notice. He could have led this process. All I'm saying is that putting faith in such an incredibly small odds is crazy.
@Qermaq exactly, faith is believing in something even though it can't be proven, seen or heard. i myself do believe in GOD, and am not afraid to share that faith. i may not know everything, but who does?
@beauty4god12 Amen! I love blind faith. When God illuminates the first steps, people want to see the whole stairwell, and God's saying, "Come on, I want to see some walking here" Keep up the faith and the works, beauty4god!
I don't share my faith with my family because one of them will talk about biblical things and eventually telling me the world with end. It scares me out of the faith pretty much.
And another reason why I don't share my faith with other people because I feel like people know about Jesus enough because we have all access to info so why should I have to look like a religious nut and talk to them? :S If they wanted Jesus they'd go search for him.
@LaziAura I'm sorry that your family scares you like that. Sadly, a lot of people get scared of death. It's unknown. I can't judge you for that. But you don't need to be scared. If you completely throw yourself into God's mercy, you'll be fine. Trust in him. Also, you'd be surprised the amount of people who think they know God. I had a friend who thought the bible was a lot of rules. It's the God's story salvation. People are too prideful to look for God. They have better things to do. (NOT)
@RaZorXwireXbabyX No (real) Christian would ever beat up a gay person or think it is right to. Violence in any form is a terrible thing. Your being very closed-minded for saying that.
@RaZorXwireXbabyX How is that ironic? Yes, some people who claim to be Christian are violent towards homosexuals, but that doesn't mean it makes it right. God doesn't want anyone to harm anyone because we have all fallen short of the glory of God. The Bible is against homosexuality but does not say to inflict hatred or harm to homosexuals. That goes to show that all people, including Christians, are hypocritical in their ways.
@alliemarie1833 Still appreciating the irony. God actually condoned genocide in the Bible. Sound pretty damn violent. If theres a hypocrite here, its you.
@RaZorXwireXbabyX I never said anything about genocide. And yes, I am a hypocrite and human nature is to blame for that. And all people are hypocritical by the way, including you, because of the fact you're trying to make it seem like you are somehow better than everyone else, which you are not. I'm not saying that I'm better than everyone else but I believe Jesus is our only hope. Respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. Let's end this conversation and move on. =)
@alliemarie1833 You said "God doesn't want anyone to harm anyone because we have all fallen short of the glory of God." So genocide isn't harm. Okay, I understand.=D ttfn
@RaZorXwireXbabyX Inflicting harm on someone out of bitterness is wrong, according to God. He doesn't want us to be bitter. But you must think about the fact that God's will is good and just, not the secularist definition of "good," but God's definition of good. I am not advocating genocide. Humans will never come close to fully understanding God's will, but that's where trust in God comes in. I'm not trying to disrespect you, I just giving you my opinion.
@alliemarie1833 I understand. But I just want to know if you have read the bible. Because statistically only 1 in 10 christians have read the bible cover to cover. A lot of them just pick out the verses about love and peace.
@RaZorXwireXbabyX God gave us the gift of free will, but some people clearly use that for the worst. People who beat up gay people are not real Christians, even if they claim to be. That is obviously terrible. Just like there are people who claim to be good, trustworthy people but they still go out and steal and cheat and lie. It's their fault not God's. It isn't ironic or hypocritical in any way, don't blame God for the sinfulness of man. Blame them for not following Him and His word.
@RaZorXwireXbabyX Btw yes I have read it, and there is nothing in the Bible that states that people should use violence toward others unless you misinterpret it. I'm curious, have you read it?
The Church is a hospital, not a gym. People go to the Church to get spiritual help, not to "work out" or get better. We, Christians, are sinners, and we recognize it. So if a Christian beats up a gay person, it just means that they're in the right place. I think that's a problem a lot of people misunderstand. So I don't blame you for making that mistake.
@robloxbobeatspie Wait so is there a point that people don't need to go to church? Because most sick people get better. Or do christians remain sick for their entire lives? (Because I would agree with that last line. People who aren't sick don't talk to an invisible person.)
Basically, these 8 reasons all basically imply that you're ignorant, you know you're ignorant and you don't want to be reminded of your ignorance. Instead of preaching your beliefs you might want to investigate the facts and if you try to look at things objectively you'll find out that the Bible ISN'T the word of God, that it DOESN'T provide a good explanation of the world we live in and that we can only understand the world by using REASON and mathematical proof. Start thinking for yourself !
@OutOfTheBoxThinker Unfortunately, many people are prideful and are blinded by their pride. But think of it this way:
The Church is a hospital, not a gym. People go to the Church to get spiritual help, not to "work out" or get better. We, Christians, are sinners, and we recognize it. So if a Christian beats up a gay person, it just means that they're in the right place. I think that's a problem a lot of people misunderstand. So I don't blame you for making that mistake.
@robloxbobeatspie : Christianity is not as much like a hospital as it's like a witch doctor's house. It gives people false hope, a false sense of security and a lot of silly superstition. Christianity is just a simplistic mixture of age-old primitive myths and questionable morality and I'm entirely convinced the world would be a lot better without Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity AND Islam) altogether. If you seek purpose, morality and hope in life, there's far better places to look...
@OutOfTheBoxThinker God does exists. And I can prove it. As I was telling Qermaq and drfoxcourt, before I reveal how God exists, please prove that he doesn't exist. I want to see you try.
@robloxbobeat : Before I address your request, why don't you prove that Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, the Spaghetti Monster, Zeus, Beëlzebub, Baäl, Osiris, Genesha and/or other mythological beings don't exist today? I would like to know what you would constitute as proof for the lack of existence of a mythological being.
I'm not saying that there can't exist anything beyond what science can detect today. I am however saying that the Christian concept of divinity is nonsensical and primitive.
@OutOfTheBoxThinker If I have a car, and I say, "This car used to be a rock, and the sun and the rain hit it just right, and now it can drive and has a security system. This entire car used to be a hunk of rock." That would be idiotic, right? Well take the complexity of a car, and multiply it times 10. That's what evolution is. Way to go encouraging people to start harassing random strangers. People are right in thinking that you're a religious nut if you do that. And as for the 'I don't know' excuse: you guy's should start admitting that 'I don't know' means just that, and that there's no shame in not knowing stuff. There IS shame in pretending to know stuff you don't know though.
i know right sometimes when i witness to people i feel crazy but then i think, who should i please? jesus or people? jesus and besides it would be sad to see the people you love in fire yelling at you "why didnt you tell me he was real? why didnt you tell me abt jesus?" and ur right christians dont really know what to say to unbelivers it the holy spirit that guides them. i get it though before i was christian i used to think that these religious ppl were weird but not anymore
@grapesodaisgoodable You seem to actually think about it, and witness because you care for people. Although I'm not really with you here, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. That is, as long as it's not you talking to strangers, and not listening to what they say. If you go out telling people stuff, you should listen to what they're saying. I'm saying that you don't, but I encounter a lot of christians who just want to tell their story.
HEY YOU KNOW WHAT??? I've noticed that ATHEIST love to come to all the channels of Chrisians (messengers of satan) and try to convice Christian with empty words--"Let no one DECEIVE you with EMPTYwords, for because of such things God's WRATH comes on those who are disobedient" Ephesians 5:6
actually... that's true, because people may possibly hurt you --I've had my family slam me against a wall and try to chock me, and they will call you a religious nut case and they will think you are werid, and they will not understand what you are saying, because what you are saying is spiritually discerned and you will not have all the answers but the we must trust the Holy Spirit will speak through us. And last of all.. you got to do it because Jesus said to and lay down your life for Him
I remember when brother Bill asked to me hand out tracts. I used my tried and test excuses. He patiently answered each one and then told me we were going. I was glad I went. I met an atheist who knew the Bible better than I did. This shamed me and motivated me to have a ready answer (1 Peter 3:15).
Here are two good reasons not to share your faith. 1) Everyone knows about Jesus and they have already made a choice, hence you're *pushing* your faith, not sharing it. 2) Others are comfortable with their choice of belief, if others can be content with their choices, so too should you be comfortable with your beliefs. Live with that "peace of god", be content with your faith, and don't look for contentment through confirmation, by trying to get others to believe as you do.
NOT knowing enough is pride and what you do ABOUT NOT KNOWING IS FIND OUT! by opening the Bible and read and pray about it to God! And find some one who has been FOLLOWING GOD/CHRIST THE WORD OF GOD MADE FLESH who knows! NOT SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN FOLLOWING A RELIGION! Following a religion about God is NOT THE SAME AS FOLLOWING GOD (who is his Word) MADE FLESH IN JESUS CHRIST!
I actually think some people should NOT share their faith until they are better equip but that should not give people a reason to be ASHAMED of there faith. Meaning they can tell someone they have Faith in Jesus But are not at the stage to defend it to someone who is hard core set against it. What im saying is that Many are called few are chosen and not all have the gift to evangelize. But People can still be PROUD to admit they are a Believers in Christ. Some can't even admit that much.
(Part 2) You walk with God and his written Word to find out and share the truth even though you are NOT an evangelist! YES NOT all are evangelists BUT EVERYONE CAN SHARE THERE TESTAMONY! If NOT they are ashamed of Christ and Christ will also be ashamed of you! Friends of the world are enemies of God/Christ and friends don't want to offend friends DO THEY!
(Part 1) It is about sharing you testimony NOT being a theologian! If more people would share THERE TESTAMONEY and NOT be afraid to say I don't know this is just what happened to me MORE would see Jesus as REAL! And NOT just a religious conspiracy!
It's so funny how we care sooo much about what other people think about us, but in 5 years down the road, we won't even be in contact with most of those people.
Wow if you dont believe then what are you doing searching videos like this up. i checked your account and it says your 51 years old and have a degree. Then maybe you should grow up.
@Sixflags003 Why do I look at videos like this? Know thine enemy.
The personal data on me is correct. My 8 refutations are my honest adult responses to what I deem a very dangerous problem in the US, that of promoting delusion as valid and promoting adolescent's proselytizing of idiocy as cool. I think it is dangerous thinking for my country, and the world (1st century ethics with 21st C weapons).
I did grow up. I grew up and out of theologic folly.
I have a series of quetions for you. Do you know everything there is to be known in the universe? As a professor and scientist you should thruthfully answer no you dont.
@Sixflags003 It is not possible that anyone can know everything, so no. I don't know everything, in fact I trust that I don't know most things.
What I do know, I have evidence for.
All evidence I have points to the conclusion that there is no God, that belief in God is not a good bet and is counter to the well being of mankind. The evidence is not complete (God still might exist) but I cannot dismiss the evidence I do have for the convenience of religion.
Fair enough. But tell me. If there is no God then who is the one to tell you whats right or wrong. Like for example who is the one to say murder is wrong? We cant have morality without God. Who can say cannabalism is wrong. Some cultures do it.
@Sixflags003 Don't be silly. Morality exists without God. Lots of non-deist,non-theist and non-Christian people act perfectly morally without God (or his representatives).
God didn't give us morality, we know it intuitively.
It takes Religion to pass of what are immoral acts (genocide, slavery, mutilation) as something we are supposed to do because God requires it.
@drfoxcourt Of course non christians do. Because by now its law, and something parents teach. But answer me this. If God didnt create morality then who did? Mother Nature, Santa, Easter Bunny? Morality goes back to the beginning of mankind. So who told the very first person on earth. This is bad. So is this.
@Sixflags003 Morality can be seen in all manner of social animals (incl humans).
Geese help their more infirm to a successful migration. Elephant protect the young. etc. There are other, what humans would call, immoral acs but they are moral for that species.
Morality is, in it's way, a darwinian evolution (somewhat genetic) for survival.
BTW- There really isn't a 1st person on earth, but an evolved ape. Where humans began is nebulous.
@drfoxcourt Oh please dont give me that garbage. If we evolved from apes then why arent people evolving from them now. When you were talking about animals [geese and elephants] that isnt morality thats instinct. Humans have morality. You KNOW murder is bad. So is stealing and adultery. We have a knowledge of right and wrong. Animals have instinct
@Sixflags003 Humans are evolving. Humans are taller than they were 2000 years ago because taller people have been more successful at passing on genes. Eventually humans will not look like they do today. It's a long slow process.
What makes you so sure humans don't have instinct? What makes you so sure animals don't have morality? What is the _testable_ difference?
@drfoxcourt Humans are getting much much shorter. Many footprints of humans have been found right alongside dinosaurs and even some of the women would be over 8 feet tall.
@MattNicholson7 You actually believe that! Wow are you gullible. Ever seen the research done on those footprints?
Every discovery of giant humans and human coexistence with dinosaurs has been shown to be either a deception or has not been peer reviewed (not verifible should not be assumed as fact).
How can you say every discovery of giant humans and human coexistence with dinosaurs has been shown to be either a deception or hasn't been peer reviewed unless you've looked at every discovery? Have you?
@MattNicholson7 I've seen enough real collections and read enough articles to know giant footprints are fakes. They are never in peer review journals for two reasons, and neither is to protect evolution theory. They are all kept at creationist collections and not released for review, or when they have been, they have been shown fakes.
Paleontologists would love evidence of giant humans. The attention it would get would be a boon to their field.
@Sixflags003 Science is flawed, but much better than religion. Religion = believe something without any reason to do so. Science = believe something because there is evidence for it.
I find it better to belive there is a God, live a happy life, instead of risking my WHOLE eternity over a "maybe there is no God."You know you cant see the wind but we know its their because of its effects. We cant see God but we can feel and see the effects of him all around us. Because you addmited you dont know everything, so somewhere in that realm of unknowledge there could be [and is] a God.
@Sixflags003 Religion needs science and science needs religion... you cannot have a blind faith, otherwise how we will make sense so that others understand what we truly believe... we don't need anymore evidence to know that God is real, but maybe others will need a bit more than that...
@rebornvisualministry What I want has nothing whatever to do with the matter. Just because I want Pi = 3 does not make it so.
Pascal's wager is a poor one. Belief in God by this method is not faith, it's a bet. Presumably God would see right through that and condemn the gambler.
Live in liberty or submit to God? God is a tyrant who commands obedience and worship, keeps us under surveillance and will torture us forever if He doesn't get what he wants. Which would you rather have?
@drfoxcourt I noticed that you waste a lot of effort and time to prove that God is not real... but if He isn't, then why would you care... I hate that parents often tell their children that Santa Clause is real, but you don't see me telling every child, toddler or whatever that he is just a made up character... would you do it? no... then why try and convince us on what we know is true, cause we have evidence to He's existence... or are you trying to convince yourself that he does not exist...?
@rebornvisualministry I believe faith (belief without evidence) in the supernatural is too often a dangerous thing. It interferes with human rights, science, and the general betterment of mankind. We have 21st century means of ending humanity and we dealing with that capability with unfounded morals and understanding, this is dangerous, particularly if we give credence to the appocalyptic faithful.
@drfoxcourt don't you think that just because of that fact God is real... with so many mistakes we can make... oil spills, nuclear spill... any spills... human bombs, war, anything that can wipe human kind from the face of the earth... and we are still here... I don't know about you... but believing that someone is taking the proper measures in taking care of those means (21st century tech)... that to me is real faith...
@rebornvisualministry Do you think that with our assured demise as a species meteor, solar expansion, galactic collision) that your God cannot possibly care? With natural disasters (earthquakes, droughts, hurricanes) do you think God is protecting us?
I don't know about you... but reducing the nut-cakery inherent in religion is insurance, which I want far more than I'd ever want faith.
@drfoxcourt me, in other hand... I prefer to believe that everything happens for a reason... the universe being just one big coincidence... or a mistake... I don't know you choose... it's just so discomforting and so depressing... "I'm the product of a ghastly mistake/coincidence"... gee then why care!!! why do good in this world if just all a big coincidence/mistake...
@rebornvisualministry Certainly things happen for a reason. They must follow the laws of physics etc. I don't want it to be that way, but I deal with it because it is that way. The model works without the necessity of God.
I found the moment I rid myself of God one of the most liberating experiences ever. I live greater moral life than before. I do so because I know I'm not the plaything of God!
@drfoxcourt I can understand your position... I get that you had a bad experience with religion... the way I see it... you see the word God as an old bearded angry guy sitting in a distant giant chair judging everyone... is not like that at all... I have lived my life plenty and found "the most liberating experiences ever"... without God I wouldn't felt loved, I wouldn't found love either... disasters happens because we cause them... we take out of nature more than she can restore by itself...
also I understand that knowing God can be a burden... but I have found more rewards than burdens in my life... I can always see the bright side of things because of the promises left to me in the Bible... and I have seen them accomplish all 1 by 1... I know that you have a scientific explanation to that phenomenon, but I got to say.. there are too many coincidences in the Bible to believe that God is not real... and I know you'l say the Bible is flawed, but I can't get Y they call them flaws...
@rebornvisualministry God of the Bible has promised you that you can live on after death to worship and praise him. In case you missed it, that's the promise of a totalitarian dictator.
I would dare say there are even more coincidences in the Q'uran too, but I don't see you believing in Allah. ...and the Bible is the inerrant word of God? One would think it would be more solid and absolutely evidentiary.
2nd pt: The Christian God is not an angry judge, He is the worst kind of man-made tyrant is used to control you 'for your own good.' This position degrades mankind and promotes ignorance, submission, and totalitarianism as virtues.
If we live with love, it is because mankind has worked hard to bring it forth, not God or his ministers.
@drfoxcourt I don't know if your trying to convince me of an unexisting God. because I have already told you that I have experienced Him in my life... what I did get was the tyrant part... are kings considered as tyrants too? because if I build a whole town. I'd expect some respect from the villagers... but also try to let them feel as happy as I can... but no matter what I do... townspeople will feel that I don't deserve to be in the throne, despite my good intentions... don't you agree???
Well done, guys. Thanks very much. Gonna use it tonight!

Amythyst1957 7 months ago
@Amythyst1957 That's fundies. If people actually followed their faith correctly(I fail a lot too, though I don't ram theology down people's throats) we wouldn't have all this "you goin' ta hail cuz' you not got God" nonsense.

My response is: "Why does your religion have to be right?" My beliefs are mine and mine alone.
mattman2900 1 year ago
@mattman2900 - My answer to that question, for myself, is that the basis of what a Christian believes is that Jesus is the only way. If we kept that knowlege to ourselves, then we really don't believe what we believe, because Jesus told us to go and tell people about how he is the only way. So, if we are trully christians, that's our job to share Jesus with people because we want them to know Him too.
yinka14 1 year ago
@yinka14 Sharing is fine, but when you continue to share when someone either has said thank you but Christianity is not for me and continue to pressure people into joining a specific religion is when it becomes a name calling game - as so many of the youtube comments in some other videos. But for me someone telling me I need to be Christian because another Christian says so, tells me I might be given the choice but it's highly influential...
mattman2900 1 year ago
@yinka14 (Cont) and for me that's not really giving those a fair choice. There's a difference between sharing your faith to those that seek it, ask for it and are curious as opposed to telling a random stranger they need to be Christian. I grew up Catholic until I was in my 20s. I'm not Catholic anymore, it wasn't for me, I am closer to a god or the Deity now than I ever was at Church. Religion can get skewed and not all Christians force their faith on others, but there are a lot that try.
mattman2900 1 year ago
@mattman2900 well, I can't speak for every christian on the plannet, I can only speak for myself. If I did choose to share my faith with a stranger (which sometimes happens), it's only because the subject came up, and I can't help but to tell them what I believe to be true.
yinka14 1 year ago
@mattman2900 (cont) I don't tell them that they need to "convert" I just tell them what my own experience has been with God, and how amazing he is and that he loves them, I personally don't believe it's very productive to try to force anything on anybody, because it's a personal experience that they must choose of their own free will, but it won't stop me from sharing, you know?
yinka14 1 year ago
as a priest, I don't think the best way to share about my faith is necessarily the intro the guy in the video is using of "have you heard about Jesus?" I think we're better off sharing our stories with another (having conversation & listening) and as we engage in conversation not leave the faith part out of our story. But that being said, the reason about not making sense... LOL at the "peas porridge hot?" line. :D Okay now back to watch the 2nd half of the video. Peace, Rev Lori

Qermaq 1 year ago
"I gotta friend who isn't a Christian..." Ya, that'd be Jesus. He was a Jew. Probably a black Jew. This is where it starts. Christianity is simply Judaism with the edges trimmed off.
And I say this with true love to all my human brothers, Christian, Jewish, or regardless of faith. And of color. And of face-shape.
Qermaq 1 year ago
@Qermaq Agreed a lot of Christianity is the core roots of Judaism. But it's the fulfillment! You're saved! But the thing is, you have to take it on yourself. If you totally turn your back on God, commit numerous, horrible sins without repentance, then, chances are, you aren't going to go to Heaven. Just saying. :P
robloxbobeatspie 1 year ago
@robloxbobeatspie How do you know there's a Heaven? Because it's in a book. Well there are a lot of things in books that aren't true. Just saying.
Trouble is, maybe none of us are right. maybe the truth is hidden. Who really knows? Do you?
Qermaq 1 year ago
@Qermaq But God IS proven! There's millions of ways to prove God! Think about the Human Body. Think of all the systems and how they're intertwined. Think how complex they are. Think of the brain, and how much it processes every single second of your life. Think about how you reason and deduct. How could that be an accident? That's what evolution is. It's saying, "Oh, the sun and the ice and the water hit this rock just right and it became a dog." No! That's stupid? Who came up with that idea?
robloxbobeatspie 1 year ago
@robloxbobeatspie Yeah, you are ysing a definition of "proven" that is, simply, not the actual definition of "proven". It's the definition of "possible", and MAYBE "likely" to some. But the word "proven" is not a synonym for "possible" or "likely".
Qermaq 1 year ago
@Qermaq When I say, "proven," what I mean is "proven."
robloxbobeatspie 1 year ago
@robloxbobeatspie So it has been established with no sensible means of taking the view that it cannot be so? The thing is, with faith you cannot "prove" anything. You assume validity because it fits what you believe.
Qermaq 1 year ago
@Qermaq First, before I prove God exists, please prove to me that God DOESN'T exist. I just want to see you try. Go ahead, I'm listening.
robloxbobeatspie 1 year ago
@robloxbobeatspie Why don't you prove the Easter Bunny, Santa and the Flying Spaghetti Monster do not exist? Now ask, did I ever ask for anything to be proven? Read again. No, I cannot prove my point and neither than you. But please do not insult my intelligence by falling into such obvious ruts of argument.
The whole point of faith is that it cannot be proven. Otherwise, it would not be faith. I am interested in what you have to say about Occam's Razor though.
Qermaq 1 year ago

OutOfTheBoxThinker 1 year ago
@robloxbobeatspie Well, it is idiotic, just not in the way you claim.
Yes, every component of you car had a former state. To make a car, a human must tool that component into what it must become. Making an artificial thing requires hands and minds Enough on that.
Evolution is absolutely different. For instance, let's say some creatures develop 2 hands, others 1. The 2 hands have an advantage, let's say. Soon they live on and the 1 hands die. Then the species is traited with 2 hands then on.
Qermaq 1 year ago
@Qermaq That is the entry level description of evolution. I strongly suggest you learn a little about it before setting up absurd analogies as you have above, you will be taken more seriously.
Qermaq 1 year ago
@Qermaq I still don't see how Evolution disproves Intelligent Design. I believe that God is outside of time. Therefore, he may fiddle with creation without notice. He could have led this process. All I'm saying is that putting faith in such an incredibly small odds is crazy.
robloxbobeatspie 1 year ago
@Qermaq exactly, faith is believing in something even though it can't be proven, seen or heard. i myself do believe in GOD, and am not afraid to share that faith. i may not know everything, but who does?

GreatAuntCayce 1 year ago
I don't share my faith with my family because one of them will talk about biblical things and eventually telling me the world with end. It scares me out of the faith pretty much.
And another reason why I don't share my faith with other people because I feel like people know about Jesus enough because we have all access to info so why should I have to look like a religious nut and talk to them? :S If they wanted Jesus they'd go search for him.
LaziAura 1 year ago
@LaziAura I'm sorry that your family scares you like that. Sadly, a lot of people get scared of death. It's unknown. I can't judge you for that. But you don't need to be scared. If you completely throw yourself into God's mercy, you'll be fine. Trust in him. Also, you'd be surprised the amount of people who think they know God. I had a friend who thought the bible was a lot of rules. It's the God's story salvation. People are too prideful to look for God. They have better things to do. (NOT)

RaZorXwireXbabyX 1 year ago
@RaZorXwireXbabyX No (real) Christian would ever beat up a gay person or think it is right to. Violence in any form is a terrible thing. Your being very closed-minded for saying that.
LilShortyr888 1 year ago
@LilShortyr888 I'm just going to appreciate the irony of your comment. Have you ever read the bible?
RaZorXwireXbabyX 1 year ago
@RaZorXwireXbabyX How is that ironic? Yes, some people who claim to be Christian are violent towards homosexuals, but that doesn't mean it makes it right. God doesn't want anyone to harm anyone because we have all fallen short of the glory of God. The Bible is against homosexuality but does not say to inflict hatred or harm to homosexuals. That goes to show that all people, including Christians, are hypocritical in their ways.
alliemarie1833 1 year ago
@alliemarie1833 Still appreciating the irony. God actually condoned genocide in the Bible. Sound pretty damn violent. If theres a hypocrite here, its you.
RaZorXwireXbabyX 1 year ago
@RaZorXwireXbabyX I never said anything about genocide. And yes, I am a hypocrite and human nature is to blame for that. And all people are hypocritical by the way, including you, because of the fact you're trying to make it seem like you are somehow better than everyone else, which you are not. I'm not saying that I'm better than everyone else but I believe Jesus is our only hope. Respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. Let's end this conversation and move on. =)
alliemarie1833 1 year ago
@alliemarie1833 You said "God doesn't want anyone to harm anyone because we have all fallen short of the glory of God." So genocide isn't harm. Okay, I understand.=D ttfn
RaZorXwireXbabyX 1 year ago
@RaZorXwireXbabyX Inflicting harm on someone out of bitterness is wrong, according to God. He doesn't want us to be bitter. But you must think about the fact that God's will is good and just, not the secularist definition of "good," but God's definition of good. I am not advocating genocide. Humans will never come close to fully understanding God's will, but that's where trust in God comes in. I'm not trying to disrespect you, I just giving you my opinion.
alliemarie1833 1 year ago
@alliemarie1833 I understand. But I just want to know if you have read the bible. Because statistically only 1 in 10 christians have read the bible cover to cover. A lot of them just pick out the verses about love and peace.
RaZorXwireXbabyX 1 year ago
@RaZorXwireXbabyX God gave us the gift of free will, but some people clearly use that for the worst. People who beat up gay people are not real Christians, even if they claim to be. That is obviously terrible. Just like there are people who claim to be good, trustworthy people but they still go out and steal and cheat and lie. It's their fault not God's. It isn't ironic or hypocritical in any way, don't blame God for the sinfulness of man. Blame them for not following Him and His word.
LilShortyr888 1 year ago
@RaZorXwireXbabyX Btw yes I have read it, and there is nothing in the Bible that states that people should use violence toward others unless you misinterpret it. I'm curious, have you read it?

@LilShortyr888 You should check out Nonstampcollector's channel. Especially his video context.
RaZorXwireXbabyX 1 year ago
@RaZorXwireXbabyX Think of it this way:
The Church is a hospital, not a gym. People go to the Church to get spiritual help, not to "work out" or get better. We, Christians, are sinners, and we recognize it. So if a Christian beats up a gay person, it just means that they're in the right place. I think that's a problem a lot of people misunderstand. So I don't blame you for making that mistake.
robloxbobeatspie 1 year ago
@robloxbobeatspie Wait so is there a point that people don't need to go to church? Because most sick people get better. Or do christians remain sick for their entire lives? (Because I would agree with that last line. People who aren't sick don't talk to an invisible person.)
RaZorXwireXbabyX 1 year ago
Basically, these 8 reasons all basically imply that you're ignorant, you know you're ignorant and you don't want to be reminded of your ignorance. Instead of preaching your beliefs you might want to investigate the facts and if you try to look at things objectively you'll find out that the Bible ISN'T the word of God, that it DOESN'T provide a good explanation of the world we live in and that we can only understand the world by using REASON and mathematical proof. Start thinking for yourself !
OutOfTheBoxThinker 1 year ago
@OutOfTheBoxThinker Unfortunately, many people are prideful and are blinded by their pride. But think of it this way:
The Church is a hospital, not a gym. People go to the Church to get spiritual help, not to "work out" or get better. We, Christians, are sinners, and we recognize it. So if a Christian beats up a gay person, it just means that they're in the right place. I think that's a problem a lot of people misunderstand. So I don't blame you for making that mistake.
robloxbobeatspie 1 year ago
@robloxbobeatspie : Christianity is not as much like a hospital as it's like a witch doctor's house. It gives people false hope, a false sense of security and a lot of silly superstition. Christianity is just a simplistic mixture of age-old primitive myths and questionable morality and I'm entirely convinced the world would be a lot better without Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity AND Islam) altogether. If you seek purpose, morality and hope in life, there's far better places to look...
OutOfTheBoxThinker 1 year ago

MinWilliamJosephWWM 1 year ago
(Part 2) You walk with God and his written Word to find out and share the truth even though you are NOT an evangelist! YES NOT all are evangelists BUT EVERYONE CAN SHARE THERE TESTAMONY! If NOT they are ashamed of Christ and Christ will also be ashamed of you! Friends of the world are enemies of God/Christ and friends don't want to offend friends DO THEY!
WITNESSMINISTRIES 1 year ago
(Part 1) It is about sharing you testimony NOT being a theologian! If more people would share THERE TESTAMONEY and NOT be afraid to say I don't know this is just what happened to me MORE would see Jesus as REAL! And NOT just a religious conspiracy!

It's so funny how we care sooo much about what other people think about us, but in 5 years down the road, we won't even be in contact with most of those people.

Your my take on your 8 reasons:
Non-CHristians get beat up by X-ians (for not being Xians).
Christinaity doesn't make sense (magic is not logical)
Yes I am making fun of you. I make fun of deluded people.
Don't start, I don't want any more lies
Stupid things like support your God/tyrant?
The wrong thing is to lie to children.
Do you think Jesus is divine? If you answer "yes" you're nuts.
Ahh #1 is the one part you got right.
drfoxcourt 2 years ago
Wow if you dont believe then what are you doing searching videos like this up. i checked your account and it says your 51 years old and have a degree. Then maybe you should grow up.
Sixflags003 1 year ago
@Sixflags003 Why do I look at videos like this? Know thine enemy.
The personal data on me is correct. My 8 refutations are my honest adult responses to what I deem a very dangerous problem in the US, that of promoting delusion as valid and promoting adolescent's proselytizing of idiocy as cool. I think it is dangerous thinking for my country, and the world (1st century ethics with 21st C weapons).
I did grow up. I grew up and out of theologic folly.

Fine if you want to debate thats fine but to put childish comments up is stupid and rediculous
Sixflags003 1 year ago
I have a series of quetions for you. Do you know everything there is to be known in the universe? As a professor and scientist you should thruthfully answer no you dont.
Sixflags003 1 year ago
@Sixflags003 It is not possible that anyone can know everything, so no. I don't know everything, in fact I trust that I don't know most things.
What I do know, I have evidence for.
All evidence I have points to the conclusion that there is no God, that belief in God is not a good bet and is counter to the well being of mankind. The evidence is not complete (God still might exist) but I cannot dismiss the evidence I do have for the convenience of religion.
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
Fair enough. But tell me. If there is no God then who is the one to tell you whats right or wrong. Like for example who is the one to say murder is wrong? We cant have morality without God. Who can say cannabalism is wrong. Some cultures do it.
Sixflags003 1 year ago
@Sixflags003 Are you saying that if some higher power didn't tell you that murder was wrong, you'd do it?
Frankly I think that is selling mankind cheap.
Atheists are less likely, statistically speaking, to commit murder, rape, mutilation etc. Each of these acts are condoned in the Bible BTW.
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt Uh no... your completely ignoring my point. My point is that without God there is no morality.
Sixflags003 1 year ago
@Sixflags003 Don't be silly. Morality exists without God. Lots of non-deist,non-theist and non-Christian people act perfectly morally without God (or his representatives).
God didn't give us morality, we know it intuitively.
It takes Religion to pass of what are immoral acts (genocide, slavery, mutilation) as something we are supposed to do because God requires it.
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt Of course non christians do. Because by now its law, and something parents teach. But answer me this. If God didnt create morality then who did? Mother Nature, Santa, Easter Bunny? Morality goes back to the beginning of mankind. So who told the very first person on earth. This is bad. So is this.
Sixflags003 1 year ago
@Sixflags003 Morality can be seen in all manner of social animals (incl humans).
Geese help their more infirm to a successful migration. Elephant protect the young. etc. There are other, what humans would call, immoral acs but they are moral for that species.
Morality is, in it's way, a darwinian evolution (somewhat genetic) for survival.
BTW- There really isn't a 1st person on earth, but an evolved ape. Where humans began is nebulous.
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt Oh please dont give me that garbage. If we evolved from apes then why arent people evolving from them now. When you were talking about animals [geese and elephants] that isnt morality thats instinct. Humans have morality. You KNOW murder is bad. So is stealing and adultery. We have a knowledge of right and wrong. Animals have instinct
Sixflags003 1 year ago
@Sixflags003 Humans are evolving. Humans are taller than they were 2000 years ago because taller people have been more successful at passing on genes. Eventually humans will not look like they do today. It's a long slow process.
What makes you so sure humans don't have instinct? What makes you so sure animals don't have morality? What is the _testable_ difference?
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt Humans are getting much much shorter. Many footprints of humans have been found right alongside dinosaurs and even some of the women would be over 8 feet tall.
MattNicholson7 1 year ago
@MattNicholson7 You actually believe that! Wow are you gullible. Ever seen the research done on those footprints?
Every discovery of giant humans and human coexistence with dinosaurs has been shown to be either a deception or has not been peer reviewed (not verifible should not be assumed as fact).
Spreading such lies is bearing false witness.
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt
You actually don't believe that!?
How can you say every discovery of giant humans and human coexistence with dinosaurs has been shown to be either a deception or hasn't been peer reviewed unless you've looked at every discovery? Have you?
MattNicholson7 1 year ago
@MattNicholson7 I've seen enough real collections and read enough articles to know giant footprints are fakes. They are never in peer review journals for two reasons, and neither is to protect evolution theory. They are all kept at creationist collections and not released for review, or when they have been, they have been shown fakes.
Paleontologists would love evidence of giant humans. The attention it would get would be a boon to their field.

Science is flawed
Sixflags003 1 year ago
@Sixflags003 Science is flawed, but much better than religion. Religion = believe something without any reason to do so. Science = believe something because there is evidence for it.
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
I find it better to belive there is a God, live a happy life, instead of risking my WHOLE eternity over a "maybe there is no God."You know you cant see the wind but we know its their because of its effects. We cant see God but we can feel and see the effects of him all around us. Because you addmited you dont know everything, so somewhere in that realm of unknowledge there could be [and is] a God.
Sixflags003 1 year ago
@Sixflags003 Religion needs science and science needs religion... you cannot have a blind faith, otherwise how we will make sense so that others understand what we truly believe... we don't need anymore evidence to know that God is real, but maybe others will need a bit more than that...
rebornvisualministry 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt I'll give you science... Math to be exact...
believe in God -> true -> you die -> you go to heaven and share eternal life
believe in God -> not true -> you die -> nothing happens
don't believe in God -> true -> you die -> you go to hell
don't believe in God -> not true -> you die -> nothing happens
in witch of these statements would you rather be...!?
rebornvisualministry 1 year ago
@rebornvisualministry What I want has nothing whatever to do with the matter. Just because I want Pi = 3 does not make it so.
Pascal's wager is a poor one. Belief in God by this method is not faith, it's a bet. Presumably God would see right through that and condemn the gambler.
Live in liberty or submit to God? God is a tyrant who commands obedience and worship, keeps us under surveillance and will torture us forever if He doesn't get what he wants. Which would you rather have?
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt I noticed that you waste a lot of effort and time to prove that God is not real... but if He isn't, then why would you care... I hate that parents often tell their children that Santa Clause is real, but you don't see me telling every child, toddler or whatever that he is just a made up character... would you do it? no... then why try and convince us on what we know is true, cause we have evidence to He's existence... or are you trying to convince yourself that he does not exist...?
rebornvisualministry 1 year ago
@rebornvisualministry I believe faith (belief without evidence) in the supernatural is too often a dangerous thing. It interferes with human rights, science, and the general betterment of mankind. We have 21st century means of ending humanity and we dealing with that capability with unfounded morals and understanding, this is dangerous, particularly if we give credence to the appocalyptic faithful.
I fear "God told me to start Armageddon."
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt don't you think that just because of that fact God is real... with so many mistakes we can make... oil spills, nuclear spill... any spills... human bombs, war, anything that can wipe human kind from the face of the earth... and we are still here... I don't know about you... but believing that someone is taking the proper measures in taking care of those means (21st century tech)... that to me is real faith...
rebornvisualministry 1 year ago
@rebornvisualministry Do you think that with our assured demise as a species meteor, solar expansion, galactic collision) that your God cannot possibly care? With natural disasters (earthquakes, droughts, hurricanes) do you think God is protecting us?
I don't know about you... but reducing the nut-cakery inherent in religion is insurance, which I want far more than I'd ever want faith.
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt me, in other hand... I prefer to believe that everything happens for a reason... the universe being just one big coincidence... or a mistake... I don't know you choose... it's just so discomforting and so depressing... "I'm the product of a ghastly mistake/coincidence"... gee then why care!!! why do good in this world if just all a big coincidence/mistake...
rebornvisualministry 1 year ago
@rebornvisualministry Certainly things happen for a reason. They must follow the laws of physics etc. I don't want it to be that way, but I deal with it because it is that way. The model works without the necessity of God.
I found the moment I rid myself of God one of the most liberating experiences ever. I live greater moral life than before. I do so because I know I'm not the plaything of God!
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt I can understand your position... I get that you had a bad experience with religion... the way I see it... you see the word God as an old bearded angry guy sitting in a distant giant chair judging everyone... is not like that at all... I have lived my life plenty and found "the most liberating experiences ever"... without God I wouldn't felt loved, I wouldn't found love either... disasters happens because we cause them... we take out of nature more than she can restore by itself...
rebornvisualministry 1 year ago
also I understand that knowing God can be a burden... but I have found more rewards than burdens in my life... I can always see the bright side of things because of the promises left to me in the Bible... and I have seen them accomplish all 1 by 1... I know that you have a scientific explanation to that phenomenon, but I got to say.. there are too many coincidences in the Bible to believe that God is not real... and I know you'l say the Bible is flawed, but I can't get Y they call them flaws...
rebornvisualministry 1 year ago
@rebornvisualministry God of the Bible has promised you that you can live on after death to worship and praise him. In case you missed it, that's the promise of a totalitarian dictator.
I would dare say there are even more coincidences in the Q'uran too, but I don't see you believing in Allah. ...and the Bible is the inerrant word of God? One would think it would be more solid and absolutely evidentiary.
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@rebornvisualministry 1st point: I am glad that you appear to have found peace.
2nd pt: The Christian God is not an angry judge, He is the worst kind of man-made tyrant is used to control you 'for your own good.' This position degrades mankind and promotes ignorance, submission, and totalitarianism as virtues.
If we live with love, it is because mankind has worked hard to bring it forth, not God or his ministers.
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
@drfoxcourt I don't know if your trying to convince me of an unexisting God. because I have already told you that I have experienced Him in my life... what I did get was the tyrant part... are kings considered as tyrants too? because if I build a whole town. I'd expect some respect from the villagers... but also try to let them feel as happy as I can... but no matter what I do... townspeople will feel that I don't deserve to be in the throne, despite my good intentions... don't you agree???
