As long as the coil, spiders and cone are good theres no need as the result is the same on the meter. Most folks blow a surround and are done for the day competing, recone woofer, do it again lol If I blow a surround the fun is just beginning.

@basshedz06 That isn't a "panda style box". A panda style box has the port in the center and external between the two woofers facing up in Street classes. That style box in that Astro has been used for years in SSNW in many, many different vehicles.
