Chris Paul was a beast at both my Wake Forest but also my AAU basketball team, where I got to meet him, he is not only the best point guard in the NBA and in college at Wake Forest but he is also a great guy.

CP3 - D Will is no where near as lopsided as Kobe - K Mart. Seriously, K Mart can't lead a team to the playoffs, he's just a decent scorer. D Will has lead his team to the conf finals and played great while there. The CP3 and D Will debate is about is more like comparing Kobe and Wade. They are close in almost every statistical category and Deron doesn't hold the ball as much which limits his scoring opportunities a little. The guy's opinion is a little biased.

@rambomoore9999 - i would take paul but would be happy to have either. you cant just look at stats to say who is the better player. different players play in different environments and are affected by team mates ect. they both have some things the other doesnt have and each of them could be a better fit for a certain team or situation. advantage can easily turn into detriment, iso or run a pic against cp and put him on the block and that speed advantage is a size detriment

Also this year Chris Paul has outplayed Deron it has been Derons team who has outplayed pauls. Also Paul has come of a back to back against the lakers twice before playing Utah this year and has had his team missing key players this year aginst them. I mean this guys team is 2 sometimes 3 deep his bench is consisted of washed up practice players who belong in the D league, and with no depth having TC have a decline in play and miss over 30 games, Peja missing 30 games, and Mo Pete over 40.

there was no way cp3 outplayed deron this season. the only time he won the head to head matchup with dwill was when he had a throat infection. the doctors asked him not to play but still he played becoz he knows that his team needs him. Dwill is a better pg than cp3, stats wise cp3 is leading but only becoz dwill was injured most of the season. and there is no other team that was hit by injuries most than the jazz. all of d starters and most of d bench players was injured throughout the season.

Deron has the deepest team who had established all stars who are the ones that carried that team when he was young and still today when he isn't playing well. While Paul went to a poor franchise who's City was ravaged by one of the largest American disasters and played 2 years with a horrible team and really didn't have a home court I mean him and his team was living in a hotel room. This year Paul has more of everything except turnovers even 3 point shooting, FT%, and a huge advantage in FG%.

I'm so sick of everyone using solely stats to make this debate.. Deron can man handle Cp3 physically shoots better, and is better defensively.. Chasing steals is not defense. Take away some of the scorers on the Jazz and I'm sure Deron can put up a higher ppg and put Deron in a running system and he'd be fine and he can lob up ally-oops to Tyson Chandler too.
