just a minor tilt of the head screws this one up. her head is just slight tilted which (obviously) puts more "face" on one side and less on the other. doesn't take much! She would probably be almost exactly the same in all three pics if not for that.

The theory actually doesn't state that a symmetrical face is more beautiful, only that we as humans are more attracted to natural symmetry (and I'm not talking about a manipulated photo). In a study, babies were shown photos of three different people, one with a naturally symmetrical face. The babies were most drawn to the woman with the symmetrical face.

There is a wide spectrum or varrying degrees of symmetry among human faces..It is a common notion that a symmetrical face is more attractive than a asymmetrical one but these pictures show that there is a limit. A face with a few asymmetrical flaws is more attractive than the same face which is perfectly symetrical. And, there are other factors of beauty to consider a face as more attractive.
