Craig, I think that you just have like five of those dinosaur shirts, and that's about it haha. Great review though, this game definitely doesn't sound like my type, but I appreciated the insight into the mechanics. Keep it up!
I think you guys are looking at the game in the wrong way here. It isn't a role playing game, it's a story-based game. In that respect, the characters aren't planting fake evidence on suspects that they want to frame-- though game designers leave this open to interpretation. As a player, you are simply helping to write how the story plays out. This seems obvious when you consider that most of the twilight cards and plots have little if anything to do with the behavior of the character.
We do tend to rate the games quite highly, but there is a good reason for that. We own the games, we bought them, and we generally don't buy blindly. I try to find out as much about the game as I can before I invest, I always read the high rating comments and the low rating comments and that helps give me a better perspective.
I never had a chance to play this game. The FFG-trailer was really interesting but without getting a german version of Android I won´t play this game because there is a lot of text in there and as far as we tried english games we cannot get deep into english atmosphere-texts. As a suprise you rate this game very high whil Scott Nicholson reviewed that he really hates the game. Android seems to be a very polarizing game, doesn´t it? :)
