I'm not asking you to "prove the entire Bible" I'm just talking about what evidence do we have for the (positive) assertion that Jesus = Sun God, or that the early Christians worshiped the Sun. If we have no evidence for this, what reason should we assume it was true? The Protestant church didn't exist until the 16th century. While many of the Protestants did derive themselves from Catholicism and carried on some important aspects of the faith, others departed far from it.

The New Testament was not yet collected into a "canon" that was agreed upon (it was still under debate for years after Constantine's death btw). The books in dispute were the non-Pauline letters and Revelation, as well as a few books that some felt were inspired and should be included (Apocalypse of Peter, Epistle of Barnabas, Didache, Shepherd of Hermas, and the ODES of Solomon).

saying someone is a "sun of god" is really only true on a very symbolic level. The sun gives off rays of light. So you could give off rays of God's love to others. The thing is though that we're more like the moon, which reflects light (the sun generates its own light). The Sun would be like a metaphor for God (but not Godself, because God does not need to be created, while the Sun and stars do; those heavenly bodies are also finite, while God is eternally pre-existent and immortal).

Look at the symbolisms of the Christian Church and the symbolism of so called "pagan" origin. This is where you see similarities, not necessarily in the English language. Since the representation of God in this material dimension is the Sun, then there is this play of words which is so meaningful: The Sun of God and the Son of God. XSC3, I have not seen the evidence either, however it makes sense. I love Jesus Christ and have had very close encounters with Him. I am however not exclusive but spiritualy inclusive. Nature, to me, is not devoided of divinity. The fact that the Sun is the material representation of God in the Universe suggests to me that there are many Suns of God and Sons of God. This paradigm is valid to me and for the rest, believing to me is not so spiritualy relevant I prefer to live my spirituality.

Read again, XSC3.I didn't write the word manifestation. The Sun is for me the material representation of God for us here on Earth. I worship God and believe at the same time nature to be divine. No contradiction there for me at all. Not everything Jesus said was recorded, so I do not know if He said something about that. What happens in 5 billion years when our Sun dies? Jesus seemed to be pretty strong on the whole one God thing. The Vatican is simply the headquarters of the bishop of Rome (though historically it was located at St. John Lateran for centuries, and it was in Avignon France for awhile before that), head of the Catholic Church (the Pope). Catholicism is as Christian as they come, considering its historical roots go all the back to the first century. King Solomon was a Jew, even if he married some non-Jewish wives. The accounts of his magic are rather late.
