  • That was impressive. Thanks.

  • @rainbowhiker Thanks for watching !

  • I liked your video. Could you tell me exactley how many holes the Bushbuddy has in the top and bottom and what size they are? What did you use to put the holes in the one you made? I would like to make my own. Thanks, Paul

  • @proclaimliberty2000 On the out side 13 1/2 in holes..on inside 18 3/8 in holes. I used a unibit on mine. make sure to use stainless steel wire for grating or you will burn through it often...thanks for watching

  • Great video. Your own DIY stove isn't too bad. How did you fasten the wire mesh at the bottom of your inner chamber? I drilled many holes in my version. It seems to work very well. Take a look at it when you have a chance.

  • @MsSpy Hello, I drilled the same amount of holes on either side and just weaved a single wire back and forth and over and under the same wire. Thanks for your comment!

  • Nothing wrong with the DIY version but dang it's hard to beat the Bush Buddy. I know I love mine! Good comparison!

  • @RallohE I agree!! The DIY is a good start while saving for the BushBuddy.I'm Glade I made the Jump...Thanks for the comment's!

  • Had not really heard of these before. Now I will definitely look into them. Thanks Tom

  • @NaturalBushcraft Thank you!

  • Nice vid, excelent little stove. Take care and have a great day.

  • I've been on the fence on plunking down $100 on the Bushbuddy, but videos like this one tells me it's worth it. I haven't found anyone who regretted the purchase in the long run. My DIY Bushbuddy works pretty good, and I've done a lot of burns to hone my fire building skills, so I'm glad I made one.

  • @machbaby Thanks! its definitely worth it !

  • Sounds like a winner : )

  • @wawhiker Thanks buddy!

  • Great job. Now I want to compare my homemade stove too!

  • Great job! Thanks for the vid. Makes me want to compare my homemade stove, too.

  • @GiantPinhead Thank you!

  • @Ggreenvideos Thanks buddy!! I'm going to be putting some miles on this one... : )

  • @TomsBackwoods I've seen no complaints from anyone on video yet :o) Mine is being shipped on Thursday :o)

  • @Ggreenvideos Sweet!! you will love it!! Happy to nudge ya! lol...

  • Good vid, I still think $100+ is a little steep for the Bush Buddy, So the home brewed one still rocks.

  • @TheRifleman336 Yea I agree!...thanks!
