Why did you decide on both hatchet and Kukri? Thinking about cleaning up my old hatchet, if only to carry it for the hammer, but then more weight when the Kukri can pretty do the same stuff.
hey man with your gerber axe do you have any problems with the knife falling out when you use the axe and is the knife full tang . and great video man
If you want you can add beef jerky for your hot chocolate & tea kit. Very easy to make. 1. slice seasoned meat in long strips 3/4 inch wide. 2. stick tooth picks through the tips of meat so its hanging. 3. turn on oven at the lowest level. 4. Place oven rack at highest level 5. hang the toothpick with meat hanging between the oven rack wires. 6. place a small block of wood or steel spoon anything that will leave a 1 inch gap to let the moisture out of the oven. 10 hrs later it ready to eat.
Great kit, but for me as just a survival kit, seems like alot of weight to carry, and I noticed one thing.. you should have water proff match's rather then a lighter, or both, but this is just my opinion good luck :D
That gerber ax knife combo is for car campers Ok at best for light use but thats about it. get a good ax in woodland areas if you need it for survival purposes. I/E you get what you pay for
Why two fixed blade knives? Not hating, just asking. And how do you like the synthetic handled axes compared to something like a collins axe? (My favorite)
man... you are simply over-bladed!!! one does not need all this stuff - it is anough for 5 guys trying to build small village!!! and the only way one can use that is having a car to carry it around! what sort of survival is that?!

You should lose the hatchet and get yourself a folding saw. Can save you sooooo many calories.

@fxdrdnme
the reason y i like synthetic handles cause wood handles expand and has a higher chance of coming off also you have to take care of the wood
Airsoft9eleven 2 years ago 2
id rather wood cuz if you break it in the bush you can make a new hadle .with the synthetic you cant
survivalknowhow 2 years ago
