i love how the desginers of this game meant for all huds and everthing to be ingame but the shitty ps3 ruined the immersion when u save fil by going to another scree. on the pc it still stays on issacs hologram the whole time.

I've owned the 360 version and have never been attacked while saving. I've also played the PS3 version and have never once felt like it took you out of the game.

@atlanta5321 Dead Space 1 and 2 were developed for the PS3. The only difference between the PC version and the PS3 version is slightly higher resolution: other than that it's the same.
you should have cut out alot more vid from messing with the stasis on the claws.. Can't believe it took so long, I solved it right away. Guess you don't play that much games that includes puzzles...
This game get's really scary after on at Chapter 9. At First I was scared Shitless playing this game. I thought I had got use to everything. But Boy oh boy I was in for a big treat in Chapter 9.

That's your ammo counter. All the weapons have a holographic ammo counter that displays when you hold up the weapon or aim. There's no HUD, so all the information you need is displayed in-game (to make it more immersive, basically). The glowing "spine" on his suit is your health, and the semi-circle on his shoulder is your stasis charge.

Uh...no, Part 2 of my series of gameplay reviews of the first one. It's currenlty 18 parts, and will be about 36 parts or so when done. This is Part 2.
i completed the game in 8 hours 30 mins then 7 hours 20 mins second time round only because i knew what to do but it propa shits you up dead space its really the only game that scares you from start to finish like on chapter 10 and you hear that woman singing twinkle twinkle little star thats freaky lol and its good useing the level 6 suit etc am sure they will make dead space 2
The Chapter 6 boss? He's tough, but there's a few tricks to beating him. Myself, I just brought a ton of ammo. But apparently there's a couple of things you can do to conserve ammo and dispatch him more quickly...
Yeah, it can be a bit of a pain. Basically, you want to activate it, then FREEZE it with the stasis once it connects to the tram, then RUN to the button (use the run button to move faster) in the middle and press it before the stasis wears off.
Well, I haven't actually played Doom 3, so I couldn't tell ya! But feel free to keep watching my vids about Dead Space for a bit, then maybe you'll get an idea of whether or not you'd find it scary. I know Annetta and I found it pretty scary for most of the game (you get a bit de-sensitized after a while, I think).
I have to agree with you there, BloodReaper! I've played a good chunk of the RE games, and to be honest just never found them all that scary. I think I find Dead Space scarier because it still has that "unknown" element to it. Even after finishing the game, there's still a lot of mystery about the Necromorphs and such. Whereas zombies...well, we've pretty much done zombies to death in movies and games by now.
Epescially when you take it slooow. I love that. Builds tension.
I seriously hope another comes out, what I want to know is what would happened if animals like. Dogs, Cats and other creatures turn into Necromorphs. They would be freaky.
Yeah, that's pretty standard for PS3 games - it's more or less done as an offshoot of the XMB interface that you use for pretty much everything. I would have liked it to be holgram-y! That sounds more like the rest of the game. :(

That's your ammo counter. All the weapons have a holographic ammo counter that displays when you hold up the weapon or aim. There's no HUD, so all the information you need is displayed in-game (to make it more immersive, basically). The glowing "spine" on his suit is your health, and the semi-circle on his shoulder is your stasis charge.

i completed the game in 8 hours 30 mins then 7 hours 20 mins second time round only because i knew what to do but it propa shits you up dead space its really the only game that scares you from start to finish like on chapter 10 and you hear that woman singing twinkle twinkle little star thats freaky lol and its good useing the level 6 suit etc am sure they will make dead space 2

The Chapter 6 boss? He's tough, but there's a few tricks to beating him. Myself, I just brought a ton of ammo. But apparently there's a couple of things you can do to conserve ammo and dispatch him more quickly...

Yeah, it can be a bit of a pain. Basically, you want to activate it, then FREEZE it with the stasis once it connects to the tram, then RUN to the button (use the run button to move faster) in the middle and press it before the stasis wears off.

Well, I haven't actually played Doom 3, so I couldn't tell ya! But feel free to keep watching my vids about Dead Space for a bit, then maybe you'll get an idea of whether or not you'd find it scary. I know Annetta and I found it pretty scary for most of the game (you get a bit de-sensitized after a while, I think).

Ya, I'm like a quarter through with Doom 3, i think. Its really not too bad. Its worth playing for sure.
The beginning is the scariest because you don't know what to expect, but once u get passed that initial shock, I guess, its not too bad.
The beginning scared the shit outta me. I had to take like a 5 minute break.

Right now? Dead Space. Resident Evil way too stupid for a survival horror now these days. Zombies are meh, Dead Space is orginal.

I have to agree with you there, BloodReaper! I've played a good chunk of the RE games, and to be honest just never found them all that scary. I think I find Dead Space scarier because it still has that "unknown" element to it. Even after finishing the game, there's still a lot of mystery about the Necromorphs and such. Whereas zombies...well, we've pretty much done zombies to death in movies and games by now.

Yeah, that's pretty standard for PS3 games - it's more or less done as an offshoot of the XMB interface that you use for pretty much everything. I would have liked it to be holgram-y! That sounds more like the rest of the game. :(
