  • 19dB isnt silent enough...

  • I have the same case, I heard that it would fit; I ordered this fan today and I hope it fits :) Have to wait a few days until the delivery..

  • hi all,

i also have the cm200mm fan with the blue led

the downside of this is that i can not succeed on adding a light switch,

    any suggestions on my problem?

  • this fan has 5mm leds or 3mm leds?

  • Is that a case fan or a tail rotor off a helicopter. lol

That thing is huge. Does it give you enough lift to get your computer off the ground. lol

  • Does it fit on the Corsair Carbide 500R

  • can i use this fan on the top in a cooler master cm storm enforcer?

  • @rusmanna I have the same case, I heard that it would fit; I ordered this fan today and I hope it fits :) Have to wait a few days until the delivery..

  • Will this fit as a front intake in the obsidian 650d?

  • How do I mount this to the top of my haf 912plus? The screws don't seem to fit in the fans mounting holes.

  • IS THIS FAN CONTROLLABLE WITH A FAN CONTROLLER PLEASE ANYBODY REPLY !!!

  • @MsHat2009 I just bought 2 and no they're not. They don't even lower the temps at all....

  • @rsx123 dont know if u knew, but my theory on this is the specs, 700 rpm is miniscule compares to cpu coolers

  • can you turn the LED off?

  • @TheGhostshadow95 No you cannot.

  • which is best, to make the fan suck air in or blow it out? from the top.

  • @LosWackos Heat rise's..... so dont suck blow

  • @LosWackos blow it out.

  • @LosWackos blow out.

  • @LosWackos I think to make it blow air out since heat rises so the more hot air leaving the case, the better.

  • @LosWackos Blow out, hot air rises.

  • Will it fit on the top and front of haf 912?

  • @theryan96 yes it will

  • @theryan96 yes

  • @theryan96 yes it will the top and front are the only ones that support 200's ;D

  • apply overvoltage on it ! :D

  • Where do i connect it?

  • @V3RM1LI0N on a molex plug that game with the fan attach that to a cable on ur power suply

  • this heled alot cuase on the box of the HAF 932, it says the top fan is 230 mm, so i was worried about how small this one is, because it is 200 mm. But looking at it here, it fits perfectly with the case! thanx!

  • will this fan fit in the front of corsair 650d chassi?

  • @don2xify with some moding

  • i used this for my HAF 922, but the LED lights burned down:)

that was a shocker the first time .hahaha i was kinda suprised i burned them 1 minute aafter i unpacked them ,lol

the Haf 922 Case uses different fans.

however , i bought a few new blue LED's cheap with 2 resistors per fan.

and changed it to the correct voltage again.

    works perfect now.

    ah well.

  • so this is just a 200mm fan, and you're replacing the front 230mm fan?

  • suggestion to anyone who buys this. The screw holes are not threaded so you will have to apply force the first time you screw it in. Get the biggest screwdriver you have cause my little one was just stripping the screw due to lack of torque/grip.

  • will this fit on the side panel of a HAF 922 ?

  • @taggerung890 Yes it the side panel of a HAF 922 can fit eithe two 120mm or a single 200mm fan(Like this one)

  • @MW93i not true .

this one is 5 volts , the HAF 922 uses 12 volt.

i made the same mistake .

  • @taggerung890 you need 2 resistors to make the fan work on 5 volt . because your front fan is 12 volt.

the 4 leds on 1 fan is divided in two pairs , therefor you need two resistors .

or you could buy 2 fans ,and change the voltage on the switch to 5 volts.

the front fan on the HAF922 uses 12 volts.

if you connect the mega flow fan to the original switch where the front fan is on , you will burn the LED in 2 seconds .

i made the same mistake ,by not cheking the voltages.

  • @ImmortalUniverse does that also apply to the HAF 932?

  • will this fit as a top fan + maybe a side fan on my haf 912 chassi?

  • @Ozzox94

Yes, it will fit as a top fan in the 912, but not as a side fan.

  • @AMDX8 ok great! might get it and a 120mm fan for the side aswell=)

  • @AMDX8 will this fan fit in the front like the stock fan on HAF 912 Plus? or is it a 230mm in the front?

  • @AMDX8 funny to say i fitted mine on the top on the inside of my 912 case

  • @Ozzox94 No it can only fit a 120/140 mm fan

  • @Ozzox94 in the top and in the front but not in youre side pannel

  • @Ozzox94 side panel, 120mm or 140mm. 200mm can go on top or 2x 120mm. or 200mm for the front , 2x 120mm for the front, also okay. I am running 912 HAF as well.

  • Does anybody know how to install this in the front of the haf 922? I can't seem to find a way to do it!

  • Damn, i would sure put this one on the top of the HAF 912 plus case. Because i dont want to take any risks of annoying temperatures

  • Cool! I want one in my Storm Enforcer case!

  • i can see that there are 3 wires that goes into the fan, red, black and white. does anyone know if the white wire is for speed control or LED on/off?

  • finally nois less review

  • @hykkilanhomeboyz Bigger fan = More pushed air, Less noise.

But not a whole lot of budget chassis can support a 200mm fan.

  • I think I'm gonna get 2 of those for my HAF922. midtower model. It has 1 red LED one in the front, but I don't want 1 red and 1 blue. So I think I'm gonna unscrew the red one and replace it with the blue one. Gonna look cool I think.

  • So silent

  • Whoy we have take-off I 've seen then on old aeroplanes, LOL

  • very nice thanks for doing this

  • hello! I just bought this fan but i am not sure how to put in my case.I mean, the letters in the centre that says Coolermaster bla bla must be up or down? Probably down e?

  • lol.kid: hey i just got the 120mm cooler master fan.......this guy:(ausralian accent)you call that a fan...woooooossshhhhh.kid:aahhhhh is to much ahhhhhh.lool

  • daum looks like a rim for a car hahah

  • Hi, it doesn't come with any screws by any chance right?

  • @MoonOvIce

It comes with 4 mounting screws.

  • @AMDX8 Great just making sure, because I'm running low on screws and I was wondering if I needed to buy some (and the hardware store is kinda far) because the fan comes tomorrow but thanks, that should be enough...

By the way, does the fan increase airflow considerably? have you noticed any differences?

  • @MoonOvIce it does

    '

  • hey, how can i make that all my lighting in the case just stops lighting and then i can switch it on again?

  • So the front on the 932 supports 200mm and 230mm?

  • @SirCrest I second this question. I know that it supports 1x 140 and 2x 120. But 200?

  • Is this the same 200mm fan that comes in the cool master sniper?

  • Hello, can you tell me if this cooler is compatible with NZXT Phantom? Thanks.

  • Is it worth to buy it?

  • @martiniostramoga sure.. if you want extreme cooling tho its like 2 fans in 1 but most of us will be fine with 1 140mm or 1 120mm... these are overkill even if you overclock because the 110 cfm is massive..

  • So....how does the Megflow fans compare with the same- size fans that come with a HAF X? Haven't seen any comparison airflow charts...

  • can you install this on the front of the haf x because I would like a blue led front fan for it?

  • @AwesomeGamingReviews

I don't have a HAF X so I can't say for sure, but I think it will work. I have a HAF 932 & 912 and this fan fits both cases.

  • @AMDX8

Isnt this the same fan like the one which comes as intake on the 932 (front one) ? looks identical to me..

Anyway did u get some lower temps?

  • @26psyside its the same size, the fan itself, same 700rpm as well, the plastic part is just smaller

  • @AMDX8 it does fit :)

  • @AMDX8 Do you think it will fit the front of the NZXT Hades and can yoyu give me a good CPU cooler for AMD3 socket i got the Cooler Master V6GT but its too big for my Hades case so i cant get this on it :)

  • @Alexxcantshuffle

No idea if the Megaflow will fit your case. If your case is too small to fit big tower air coolers, I would recommend going with a Corsair H60/H80 liquid cooling kit.

  • @AwesomeGamingReviews I believe the HAF X uses a 230mm fan in the front. But I would go to the Cooler Master Web page to be sure.

  • @AwesomeGamingReviews

probably too late but yes you can.

  • @AwesomeGamingReviews i dont think so ecause the front intake fan on the haf-x is 230mm

  • @AwesomeGamingReviews I believe you can, as only 1 place sells the blue 230 fan and they want too much for it

you can also change out the led lights from red to blue

  • @AwesomeGamingReviews i have a haf x.

here's your fan ;) the brand is bitfenix, spectre serie. you'll have your 230mm fan with blue LEDs ;)

french website where i found it:

    materiel.net/ventilateur-pour-tuning-pc/bitfenix-spectre-led-230-mm-bleu-69004.html

  • @fotorescent Will this fan fit at the top of the haf x? Thanks.

  • @AwesomeGamingReviews It is possible, all the HAF cases have a front fan so you can install them with ease

  • @AwesomeGamingReviews For the HAF X. Get the 230mm version of the BitFenix Spectre. Infact I would invest in the BitFenix Spectre 230mm for the front panel and a 200mm Spectre fan for the side panel. They push alot more air when compared to these fans and are quieter.

  • Hey bro, nice fan, Ima grab several of these soon. Just wanted to ask ya sumthing, I just bought the HAF X case, great case but on the fan on the left sidepanel rattles like hell, I checked to see if it was screwed it properly and t was, do you think i just got a shoddy fan??

  • @Lionheart1188

Did you try tightening the screws? If that doesn't help, you might want to swap the side fan with the top fan and see if the noise goes away.

  • @AMDX8 Ok kool, will do, thanx

  • @Lionheart1188 I know exactly what you're talking about and I also know how to fix it. you have to remove the fan completely from the side panel and then pull out this flimsy piece of crap screen thing that's useless. It's way too flexible and due to that, it gets sucked into the fan blades and makes that awful noise. Hopefully this isn't too late in getting to you.

  • hey i just got my megalfow 200mm fan, and tried to install it on the side of my haf 922(it should fit) but the screws dont fit in the fan holes.

do you have to drill them bigge yourself?

    ty

  • @raketmanishet

The fan holes aren't pre-threaded so you have to push down really hard while you turn the screw driver. It's a real pain in the ass!

  • @raketmanishet I'm having the same problem!!!! ahhh

  • i wanna place this fan on my XBOX 360 any tips on how to do this with out losing the power of the led's.

  • @skr101274 lol that would be pretty awsome

  • I liked the bit with the fan

  • can you install 2 of these on top of HAF X?

  • Nice PC btw, how come no optical drives?

  • DUDE plz answer, simple question

my 200 mm Big Boy fan recently broke (my bad >.<)

It has the exact same size as this one 200x200x30. Will this one fit in too? It's an Antec 902 case.

    Thx

  • Dude music please!!! silence is deafening

  • @DEVILW0LF

It should fit your case if you have 200mm mounting holes. Yes you can plug it into any 3-pin fan header on your motherboard. It also comes with a 3 to 4 pin molex adapter if you want to plug it directly to your power supply.

  • Is it silent? more silent than haf X´s stock 200mm fans?

  • i am having problem screwing these fan on the top of my haf x fan...the part of the fan gets in the way of my scredriver please help...i need sugestion of what tool is useful in this tricky situation ???

  • i jus bought my corsair hx750 psu for my new build i tried to connect the psu to my LED fans without any other peripheral connected but i couldn't get the LED fan to work...do i need to have a motherboard connected in order to get the fans to work ???

  • @ixy1987

The PSU will not turn on unless you plug in the 24pin connector into a motherboard.

A trick to get the PSU to power on without a motherboard is to use a paperclip bent in a U-shape and jumper the green wire to a black wire on the 24pin connector.

  • wow this thing is very bright :D available on 120mm?

  • i want to replace by rear 140mm fan from red to blue but i cant find the right blue led fan except the CM 200mm on amazon UK...any help ???

  • @ixy1987

Cooler Master makes a 140mm blue led case fan:

    Model #: R4-L4S-10AB-GP

    I believe Amazon carries it.

  • engaging commentary

  • Does it fits on a Cosmos S side panel? I want to replace the stock fan but I dunno if it fits....

    Thanks!

  • @wsbygt

Cooler Master recommends this fan as a replacement or additional fan for:

HAF 932, HAF 922*, COSMOS S, ATCS 840, CM Storm Sniper*

*Fan and LED will operate but full LED ON/OFF function will not be compatible

  • @AMDX8

Thank you very much for the insight!! Cheers!

  • @AMDX8 haf x?

  • Bulgarian.. That's EPIC!

  • This is such a noob question, but which side does the fan blow--the hologram decal side or the black sticker side?

  • @mikeyeeca

Air flows in from the hologram side and out the the black sticker side. In other words, if you were facing the black sticker side, air would be blowing in your face. There are arrow markings on the side of the fan that show the direction of airflow.

  • Will this fan fit on the HAF X side panel?

  • @camoxide

If the side panel has 200mm fan mounting holes it should fit.

  • @camoxide yes. but the haf x already comes with a side fan.

  • Yes it will fit into the HAF X side pannel.

  • @camoxide yes, this 200mm will fit the side and the 2 top fan spots on the haf x

  • Hi AMDX8

Can the speed of this fan be controlled by a ZALMAN FAN MATE 2 Fan Controller.

  • Hi AMDX8

Can this fan be controlled by a ZALMAN FAN MATE 2 Fan Controller.

  • @altarcoal

The rated power consumption of the MegaFlow is 3.36 Watts. Make sure your fan controller can handle at least this much power and you should be ok.

  • @AMDX8

    Thanks

  • What's the advantage of having the power plugs of the fan plugged into the motherboard and not in an fan controller?

  • @GamerNebulae

Some motherboards allow for automatic fan speed control depending on system temperatures through bios setting.

  • will these fans still work with the CM Sniper fan control and on/off switch?? thinking bout switching to red so it can match my motherboard

  • @EastSanJo408

If you're talking about turning the LED on/off, then no. The LEDs on the this fan are hardwired ON.

  • @AMDX8, lol you using that for a desk fan

  • @AMDX8 you can easy mod these fans to switch completly on/off.

the only difference between the two types of fans is a little bridge.

in other words ,if you take the fan without on/off switch and remove the sticker .

youll see a little 2 pin bridge on the circuit board .

if you remove the bridge with a solder iron and connect 2 wires and a switch onto it .

then it looks the same as a fan with full on/off function.

i saw that on a you tube tutorial on how to mod these fans.

  • @AMDX8 to switch the Led's comletly off i ment ,not the fans itself.

  • Comment removed

  • @EastSanJo408 oow you wanted to switch to red ,my mistake ,

then its easy , go to coolermaster webstore and order the red 200 mm fans from the HAF 922 ,they got a on/off wire aswell.

or buy red led's. and use those with the original blue fans.

    thats cheaper

  • @ImmortalUniverse thanks for the info appreciated.

  • @EastSanJo408

    your welcome ,

funny thing is ,i got a haf 922 with 1x 200 mm red led fan.

and im planning on making my fans with blue Led lights.

so thats how i found out the storm sniper case has the same 200 mm fans ,only in blue.

    lol

i was planning on ordering 2 blue led fans with on/off wire from coolermaster webstore this week ,but i noticed they are out of stock at the moment.

but i also heard they will be back on web stores soon.

the red 200 mm fans are still in stock

  • @AMDX8 Is it true that the fan is only compatible with 932 and Cooler Master Haf Storm Sniper? I want him to installed in the NZXT Phantom and on the top is still available on a 200mm.

  • @GigaFan4000 actually no , if the case has a 200mm fan holes , then it can be installed...

but it's weird to have a CM Fan on a NZXT Case though...

  • @GigaFan4000

As long as the case has 200mm mounting holes, it should fit.

  • Gonna get 3 to replace the default fans on my HAF X :D

    it's gonna sparkle RED!

  • @cjgan80

I went with blue to match the power & hdd activity leds.

  • Can I replace the front 230mm fan of the HAF 932/HAX X with this?

  • @diablolrm90

Yes for the HAF 932. Not so sure about the HAF X though.

  • i have 4 in my sniper ceis purpol leds

  • ebay 20€ :)

  • @RiceMonstr But what do I do with that fan then? :D Don't wanna put anything to waste :D

Even though: Style & pure awesomeness > price

  • @patrikk777

I would just keep it as a spare fan since these sleeve bearing fans don't last forever.

  • Is this thing loud, and is it effective?

  • @patrikk777

It's very quiet since it only spins at 700 RPM and moves a decent amount of air. I have a Noctua 140mm, 19.6 dBA, 65 CFM fan in my case that is much louder.

  • @RiceMonstr I want two of these at the top, but there's one already pre-installed :(

  • @RiceMonstr

I don't have the HAF X so I can't say for sure, but as long as the case has standard 200mm fan mounting holes, the MegaFlow should fit.

  • can you mount it on 140mm holes?

  • @livai007

No. It does not have 140mm mounting holes.

  • It's like my screws can't fit into the holes of the fan, they're really tough and crackling whenever i try... :/

  • @tore1992

Yeah, I had the same problem with the supplied screws.

I used the hexagonal screws that came with the HAF 932 for the top fan mount. Works much better!

  • @casecar

It is exhausting air as mounted. There are arrow markings on the fan that clearly show the direction of airflow.

  • where did you get it.

  • @atomicsexkitten87

    Newegg

They also have Red LED version.
