Your opinion against exotic animal ownership doesn't change the right for exotic animal keeers to be involved with the hobby that they love. Responsible ownership should be a major consideration. Problems arise with someone that has no prior experience that buys a tiger, for example, on impulse. You cannot tell someone what they should or shouldn't keep.

I love big cats, would I ever own one... no, maybe foster kittens for a zoo or reserve , but I foster them until they would big enough to move into a comfortable enclosure. Not because I don't think couldn't handle an adult, but I wouldn't risk that animals life if I was wrong, that is the problem with most exotic pet owners they think their pets will never play to rough or mistake them for food.
