@DrDjLatin such things aren't black and white. Yeah it's wrong he cheated on her, but you need to also see things from his perspective. He was in pain, he wanted some escape, one that wouldn't pollute his body or compromise his personal integrity. If you've watched this video then you should know that Cole's integrity at this point is based largely on helping the less fortunate.

Being with Elsa gave him both an escape and a chance to help a terribly unfortunate woman.

That's why Skyrim won this year. Not because it was actually the best game (personally I find it dull and buggy), but because it's the most recent game that people forked over their dough for.

Thanks for the postings, this ending really left a sour taste in my mouth. I hated that you had to play as what's his face for the last two missions and you never got to play as Phelps before he died. They take 5 years to make this awesome game, but include this shit ending.

@DavitoSmithy well the 5 DLC cases are part of the actual story. its just they ran out of disk space so they made those cases DLC instead. but its also said that they had at least 2 more desks for you to play during the story but they cut them out. one of them was supposedly the burglary desk that they mentioned cole had worked.

But the game did a horrible job with Phelps character. Cheating on his wife isn't cool. It would have been worse of Hershel died.

Just so you know, that rifle he's using is called a Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR). It's a squad support weapon from World War II and was even used in World War I. Very effective, although the British Bren Gun, IMHO, was the best weapon of its type during the war.

Sorry the BAR is the automatic rifle he used first. The semiautomatic rifle he used was the M1 Garand. Probably best battle rifle of war unless looking at stuff like the MP44 maybe (early assault rifle, precursor to AK-47).

Call me a pussy, but Red Dead Redemption, and L.A Noire were the two only games that made me cry at the end. In my opinion, I think L.A Noire's ending was a bit more rushed. To me, it didn't have that final feeling were you know it's the end like Red Dead Redemption had.

Overall, this was one hell of a game and I'm going to replay it. 10/10

HELP!!

I got to the 'black caesar' vice case, saved and quit. The next day I started the 'naked city' DLC case (you have to replay it) and when i selected it, i accidentally overwrited the save of my story progression (the black caesar case). Now i cant progress through the story. When i select resume, all my options are replay cases. I dont mind starting a new game but if there is a way to continue please tell me :(

@ZeDon96 there's only one save file, (which was a terrible design flaw), so if your game was saved over the file, you most likely have to start a New Game
