Tuna muscle power output (at full speed) is in the range of 100-200 watts/kilogram of body mass. And, the tuna is a Flow God, with loads of elegant, low-drag features. That swimming christmas ornament in the video is cool, but it ain't no tuna... it's not even a half-assed bass. if you want speed, you gotta use deep power. No magic about it. And, it isn't the 1st robotic fish, not by decades.
Actually she's reporting what she's told and most land dwellers don't know how fast a tuna swims. The one in my tuna salad wasn't fast enough apparently.
She's just reporting what "they" told her! Whatever "they" are! Most land dwellers don't know how fast a tuna is anyway. The one in my tuna salad wasn't fast enough apparently.
Yes, up to 80km/h in the water for a bluefin. I think it would take a LOT of power, like a few horsepower, for this thing to reach speeds like that. Unlikely, given its battery powered electric propulsion. Pure horseshit, in other words.

Well, since the 'speed of a tuna' is up to 50 knots, let's say we doubt it.

why not make a giant whale?Instead of a fish.I mean if you just look at it for 60 seconds, its so boring and dumb.
