  • I got Genius tablet, I don't hope I can do those cool things with it. :(

  • you are amazing

  • whats your brush settings for the pencil effect? its just frustrating that all i can do is draw lines, it doesnt even looks like a sketch after im done with the body T_T

  • whoa. how long did it take you to draw that? It's amazing!!!!!

  • did u design that car urself? if not what car is it?

  • rofl stop bitchin about the wheels u can sketch them that way

especially if they r concave like most rims are and like he said

he is just visually communicating an idea its not a rendering.

  • Dude didn't even draw the rims right.

  • Lmao... fuck the iMac... im getting this tablet :D

  • i think i can do it better without the program.

  • wat program is this

  • wait, wait, wait, if you wanna be a car designer, u gotta design your cars on computer, SHIT!

  • what the name song?

  • very clumsy design. weak proportions - just a pretty drawing.

  • nice work...

    Sketching is comunicating ideas yea!!!

  • wow :O

  • Its called perspective. Go look it up.

  • That's what I call art ! Superb

  • absolutely, fucking brilliant U ROCK

  • WOW!!! now that is one sick car sketch! ROCK ON!!!

  • When sketching concepts, the proportions dont have to by extremely accurate! Its about expressing what you want first, then you bring your ideas into Alias and overcome the proportion issues. The only way you can improve on proportions is by PRACTICE and OBSERVATION!

  • Aw...

  • I love it but one thing is bad the wheels u should work on them and creating the shadow construcions but everything was cool and the left shadows colour of the car in the back was good idea only problem is wheels and more accurate shadow post =) nice ^_^

  • Nice job

  • Lets see u try to draw that!! especialy on hte computer makes it even harder..

  • @Nateraywebster209

Naw, it's not harder. Professionals use tables.

Look up.. Wacom Tablet on Google Images.

  • @Nateraywebster209 Harder?? With infinity retries? and a lot of tools to help you draw perfect? I don't think so...

  • @Nateraywebster209 infinite*

  • asphixa the wheels are set back, its a common style, to enhance your drawing, obviously u dont understand.

  • you should consider drawing the weels right like, the center of the weel IN the center of the weel ;)

  • Asphixa even professional car designer do this sometimes when sketching. You should take a look...

Sketching is not making all the things perfect. Sketching is comunicating ideas.

  • well I agree, but it's not much of an effort to do the basics of a wheel or a car in general

  • hey man! nice draw! u draw wih computer mouse or on graphic tablet?

  • this isent my video

  • whenever you see a drawing that good done in a pc, its most likely on a tablet, a mouse just doesnt cut it.

  • hes using a tablet and why are you giving thumbsdown?hes just asking

  • completly agree with ya

  • actually when they do that they keep the perspective consistent... your perspective isn't consistent, and the 5-pointed spokes aren't set apart by the proper amount

only reason I'm pointing it out is that your response was misleading

  • @tammeo nice u hav talent =D

  • @tammeo still, it wouldn't hurt, because I like the design, but I keep getting distracted by those wheels during the entire video... :/

  • @tammeo sketching is something you do to make it easier to finish your drawing. your sketching includes proportion, the right perspective and the basic shapes of your drawing. you'll never get better if you can't get the basics right.

  • @asphixa Funny how you said "your sketching includes proportion, the right PERSPECTIVE and the basic shapes of your drawing."

Do you even know the meaning of Perspective? obviously hes drawing the center of the wheels towards the center of the car....if he drew the center of wheels IN the center, it would look too isometric idiot.

  • I know what perspective is dude... one point perspective all goes together in one point two point in two points... and I didnt mean in the perfect centre I meant that the one middle was higher than the other one which is impossible. Maybe it's possible for you but then your face is totally misshaped with one eye higher than the other so nice you're a fucking freak...

  • @tammeo i just saw a company exec who was part of the new Audi design do a basic marker drawing lol....if you have talent and skill, perfection is not what your in search of lol

  • @asphixa what a noob statement....its called PERSPECTIVE

  • @ymiphatss shut up morron you cannot have a perspective which needs two different positions...

  • @asphixa Its called TWO POINT perspective, dumbass.

  • @ymiphatss read my other comment my retarted friend

  • @ymiphatss Haha after my comments I watched your vids of your drawings... You're spelling me the lesson?? you can't even draw good... you fucking idiot

  • @asphixa you cant draw "good." Try "well" nigger. I did those drawings in 5th grade you moron.

  • @ymiphatss you call me a moron because you have uploads from 5th grade ? How could I know... And they still suck..

  • @ymiphatss your eyes are on the same level also with TWO POINT perspective, dumbass. So you can't draw one thing higher than the other while in reality they should be perfectly aligned... You probably haven't even noticed the flaw I saw in his drawing which prooves me that you probably suck very hard at drawing...

  • @asphixa stop being so emo nagger

  • @ymiphatss nvm your email. Just check this link it's my idea of a 'sketch'...

    /photo.php?pid=251931&l=c3a8d7fae8&id=100000658072224

    (its on facebook)

  • @asphixa your link doesnt work.

  • @ymiphatss hmm.. Gimme an email to sent it too then.

  • @asphixa send it via messaging on youtube.

  • @ymiphatss watch?v=felys-u4nfk

notice the fact that he draws a horizon line and the thing he says afterwards about where your 'eye level' is. Seriously don't fucking try to be smart while you don't know what you're talking about.

  • @asphixa quit getting pissed off at a stranger and prove to me that YOU could draw.

  • @ymiphatss why 3 comments? xD and ok I dont have a camera but I can take a picture and sent it too you or sth just gimme an email to sent it too...

  • @asphixa I think drawing the center of the weels not perfectly in the center of the wells adds depth.

  • @ Jonathansp-

Go into your brushes palette (F5), and mess around with the Scattering, and the spacing in the "Brush Tip Settings" That was just a way I did it watching this vid.

  • wow..............................

  • I LOVE YOUR DRAWS PLEASE SUSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL xDD

  • this is the one!!! you know where the tone, where to shade. you're awesome and your car totally amazing..anyway,what is the program you're using? can you tell me? so,KEEP ON MATE!

  • Its in the description...

  • booo!

  • I just got a WACOM Intuos4 for vehicle design. I have Photoshop CS3. Can you tell me your brush settings please for the pencil effect please? It's frustrating me how I cant get mine to look realistic. thanks.

  • I'm gonna make a quick tutorial about it, ok?

  • Yea, that will be really helpful. Thanks :)

  • Go into your brushes palette (F5), and mess around with the Scattering, and the spacing in the "Brush Tip Settings" That was just a way I did it watching this vid.

  • Thanks for the demo man. I am thinking about getting one of these for sketching, mostly for my friends band but I also do some art for fun, the Wacom is the best one as far as reviews I have found... Once again, Thanks.

  • tammeo (or anyone).... i cant get my brush/pencil tool to do the shading, like youve done on here. please can someone explain how to do this?

  • hotwheel?

  • npuBet cyku xaxaxa!!!

  • Здорово!

    Спасибо, за урок!

  • wow i thought i was good but think about it he is using the comp but wow great car

  • look a lil like the v8 ghost of gta liberty city stories

  • almost look like the fastest car on the sims 3 :P

  • great video, 5/5 and music. Can you please tell me your brush settings? Please

  • The key is that they are comfortable for you.

  • cool

  • It's a tutorial for me :D

  • does anyone know what songs are playing?

  • 50 cent ft ciara

  • nice....

  • Drawing technique is o.k but technical anthropometric and dimensions are not applied on this car ... the back wheel is stuck with the body. 4 stars for the effort and the render

  • Man do u have an account on deviant ART ?

  • gooooooood jjjjjob

  • are you using a mouse or do you have some sort of touch pad do draw

  • Wacom tablet

  • which Wacom Graphire version is it?

  • good job

  • can this be a career?

  • yup. most of the automotive giants have their own design facilities. If you can get a job at one of them, you'll be doing this sort of thing, plus stuff like clay models, blueprints, and car prototypes. You'll need a degree in industrial design and a license as well before you do any designing of this sort. Hot rod shops can also use car designers for conceptual work, and from what I know, that doesn't require a degree. You just need to know how to draw and paint.

  • does it pay good

  • I'm still a student right now, but I think pay can start at 25,000 and get into six digits as time progresses.

  • Whats the exact name of the job

  • Industrial Design

  • There's a million jobs you can get doing industrial design to do this type of stuff like drawing cars and making clay models what's the job called? Auto industrial design?

  • Automotive design if you want to get specific, but it's still industrial design.

  • Transportation Design

  • good but try ti draw 3d cars please

  • Sounds like a test...

I've got tons of cars in perspective, I'm gonna capture the next one..

  • good job man !

  • the reason the wheels are not so good is that the human hand can not draw a perfect circle

  • i beg to differ. my math teacher can draw perfect circles and ellipses as well as parabolas. and i know the circle is perfect because i took one of those large chalk compasses and went over the circle he drew on the board and it was right on. Mind you, he's been drawing non-linear graphs for the better part of his 65 years.

  • do you know how he draws perfect circles

  • He freehands it. usually makes 2 axis first then bases it around the center point. i'm not sure if you've taken advanced math though but a lot of the time, you have to graph things when you're given just 2 points but it had to look right or else you end up confusing yourself so i guess his skill comes from years of repitition.

  • that's certainly a tablet pc !!

  • do you use a touchpad or the normal mouse?

  • Er staat toch duidelijk "Wacom Graphire A5"

    Gebruik google en verbaas uzelf.

  • which program did he used?

Which program do you use man?

  • it looks like photoshop

  • Photoshop CS3 and Wacom Graphire A5

  • I KNOW that is sketch book pro. buy it for 100$

  • Acura NSX

  • really bad...your wheels need a lot of work

  • how muck sketchbooks

  • I've been watching a lot of these lately what are ideal brush settings, as in size and softness?

    100% Hardness seems to rough.

  • Amazing!

  • How do you make this so nice dam

  • damn you creative you know how to use shadows and else...

  • what tablet did u use?

  • Graphire A5 bluetooth

  • use sketchup

  • you might mean sketchbook from alias?

  • no. Google Sketchup. Try it. They give a free version. You can make 3-D modela os stuff.

  • nice

  • I luv watch things like thais :D

    Nice!

  • photoshop

  • Program?

  • photoshop....

  • i hate people that think, that the program can make you draw perfetctly..

  • @chrixix I agree, a perfect drawing must be created in real life not in some virtual game thing or virtual designer or... whatever anyway this dude may be good using a computer but may suck in real life... :/

  • that was awsome

  • hey man that is pretty sick. hey where did u get ur wacom graphire A5? ive been looking around the web for something like this for weeks.

  • Yo should find it in hte products section of wacom website. Anyway, there're a lot of stores on the web that deals with it ;)

  • Car Designer for sure, regular illustrators don't know proportions of cars like that...reflected light, thick to thin, draw through, 3 wheel spacing, high contrast. Designer tricks.....

  • i msged the guy lol... hes not a car designer... whoever said the 3 and 1/2 wheel spacing rule applied? its the IDEAL porportions... but find a professional concept drawing that follows that lol =/ if u count in the wheel arches, which r ther 2 make the wheels look bigger ,that rule no longer applies... drawthrough is eazier and quicker, reflection and that thick 2 thin thing is just applied 2 normal drawing =/

  • although i realized i wuz 2 harsh ther... he is a designer, and hes brilliant in graphic design... just saying he doesnt purely do automotive design =/

  • Auto design=industrial design=product design

    Illustration=human figure drawing and painting

Graphic design=Typography and arranging images, drawing to a minimum

    Achitecture,Interior design=space planning

    Advertising= pitching for the sell...

But hey, kids don't need any help, they have google!!

  • that´s so nice! I can draw this but not so good. Photoshop is better than MS.Paint

  • nice, i like the shading techniques. that was realy cool

  • waht kind of tablet do u use?

  • Wacon Graphire Bluetooth A5

  • do u know if theres a big different between a4 and a5?

  • It's a matter of size, of course A4 it's the best solution, but it's quite expensive....

A5 is a good way to start sketching digital. If you need to be more precise you can use the zoom ;)

  • hey man, it was awsome, wut kind of program are you using, any1 knows??

  • Adobe Photoshop cs3 ;)

  • awesome painting

  • you should rote the name of those songs

  • awesome...

  • THT Wud be an awsome advert for a car if they speeded it up

  • dude that's really awesome

  • i mean i think there is money in that car!!

  • serious you should send that to aston martin or some thing that car is fabulous!! i mean it send it to aston martin!!

(I think it is the coolest lokking car i have seen in a long time!!)

  • that was amazing stuff

    It's AWESOME!

  • This guys no designer anyone who focuses can do this

  • Of course

  • Tell him to stuff it man no one likes a hater =0

i think this is freakin awesome, i want to draw my boyfriends celica for him and this has helped me figure out how im gonna accomplish that thanks XD

  • who gives a shit whether he's a designer or not? he doesn't claim to be one. fact is that he's a rather talented artist, and you probably can't draw stick figues for shit. his profession doesn't change his art.

  • LMFAO

  • go focus yourself

  • Can I drive it??? Superb work...

  • u got some skills hey by the way wat program do u use???

  • i responded with a video of a car i designed, tell me what yo think about it!

  • Great work man

  • please name of song :)

  • yeah nice, but whats up with the crooked wheels... but its just a sketch i guess..

  • wonderful work man beautiful, keep it up good luck

  • Thanx anyway...

  • I want one!!!!

  • hey man, you design proffesionally or go to school or anything?

    Ever use markers?

  • Used markers a lot, I design cars all the time because I love them. Anyway I took a degree in industrial design

  • Can you tell me please what´s the song at 4:10... THX

  • Rejection, by....I can't remember!

  • It is "Rejection" by Martin Solveig. He is French. You can see his videos on youtube.
