  • Such a beautiful, beautiful lady. This has been my favourite group since 1978 and the year of "Dog and Butterfly." I do have a question - found your website and was reading some back news bits, but they report Nancy and Ann touring in late summer of '99 - wouldn't she have been quite pregnant then? This woman can do anything!! Much Love and Light :)))

  • A beautiful honor to the most underrated ace guitarist of our time. Love you, Nance!

  • Nancy still is hot in her 50's and she's available!!

  • Let's face it. Nancy and Ann Wilson are two of the classiest ladies in the business. They never allowed themselves to be exploited, or misunderstood, and still crank it out today. They are just as creative today as they were in the 70s. And being good looking doesn't hurt!!!

  • I loved Nancy when I was 13, and I still love her. Amazing lady.

  • @BlueRidgeKat Thank you for your comments. I enjoyed making it and I'm glad it has been so well received. Heart ROCKS!

  • She is so very beautiful.

  • These two women have done more for music than most people would or want to give them credit for. I remember when they first came out, they suprised a hell of a lot of people. If you've ever seen them live their talent is undenialbe, both of them. IMO, they never got the reognition they deserved. Seems to be a commom theme among bands and people I like and admire.

  • Love the young pic of Nance. Great song, she's such a beautiful person :)

  • Go Nancy GO!!! I started playing guitar a few years ago and she has been my guitar role model from the begining!!!!

  • Totally awesome cover by good ol' Nancy. The WIlson sisters are sooo underrated.

  • I love Nancy singing Mona Lisas. Nice timing on your slideshow, sweet pics. :)

  • She's got it all, just beautiful...

  • What can I say - she's a godess, an ageless beauty like someone said here. I can only say I marry a woman just like her.

  • Nancy....a true godess!

    Luv ya baby

  • Probably the nicest version of MLAMH I've ever heard. Beautiful!! Great job Nancy!!!

  • Absolutely love this version from Nancy....one of the first true rock godesses.......thanks for sharing!

  • Nancy,,,I feel in love the first time I saw you !! You are simply the best ! I have been a fan of Heart since the first time I've heard you music and vocals...Thnak you so much to have put hapiness in my life and in my ears for so many yrs !!! I love you so much.....From a guy in Québec xxxxx Sylvain xxx

  • Love the pic of Ann, Nancy, & Wynonna. Three of the most beautiful women who really know how to rock.

  • I could listen to these gals sing all the time.....

  • Pretty song as you are, i listened to you for 25 yrs, the voice is so pretty, sit back and listen and think of the past, all good, thanks for all your music.. God bless you...

  • She has always been THE one in my eyes. An ageless beauty, and a wonderfully talented guitar player.

  • Wow, I really have a crush on this lady... can't wait to see her on the 25th of October!

  • Heart is awesome!!! I am 15 years old and i'ts my favourite rock band.

I love Ann and Nancy, they're beautiful and very talented.

  • @RockFrank76

That does my heart good to know. I discovered Heart at the same time I was trying to learn the guitar. When I saw them on Midnight Special (before your time kiddo) - Nancy bathed in a spotlight, holding a acoustic guitar about to play the intro to Crazy On You - I was glued to the TV and it marked a turn in my life litterally.

After watching Nancy play, I knew I had to get serious about learning to play the guitar. And I did. Take Heart - Wind

  • Beautiful song ,beautiful pics, gorgeous woman! Cameron Crowe is one lucky man. Geez

  • We hear you, man

    What song is this?

  • whats the name of this song?????

  • i just joined their " Heartmongers" fan club

Can't wait to get my T-shirt

I met them with my mom in 78, i was only 4 but i still got to meet them.

  • song is from one of the influences on Heart...Elton John...Mona Lisa & Mad Hatters...I don't recall for sure but I'm thinking it is on the Honky Chateau album. I have it somewhere around here ;p

  • I dig her big time

  • The song is 'Mona Lisas and MadHatters' from the 'Heart-Alive in Seattle' DVD from 2002. It's an old Elton John song from the early to mid seventies. I'm quite prejudiced in this regard, but IMO it's one of the few times the remake is better than the original version.

  • Hey, do you remember Fast Times At Ridgemont High? Remember the blonde in the Corvette who laughed when Brad Hamilton winked at her in his fish & chips pirate uniform? That was Nancy Wilson!

  • Happy Birthday Nancy!! <3

  • Jimmy, Heart and Nirvana and others, I'm lucky to be from Seattle.

  • Thank u for inspiring me to play the guitar.

  • The song is a beautiful cover of Elton Johns.... "Mona Lisa's and Mad Hatters".

  • She's my idol!

  • Love Rules...........We Love You A&N

  • I can only echo what everyone has said below (Hughesedwin especially.) Much love to these amazing women.

  • I think this may be Nancy's best performance ever, from their Live in Seattle show in 2003 (see it in Blu-Ray if you haven't yet - it's one of THE BEST rock concerts ever laid down on video). Hughesedwin said it all and said it best below.

  • beautiful song ......i love heart.

  • I got Nancy !! She is so HOT and ROCKS HARD !!!!

  • Can't go wrong with that

  • she is so lovely! oy. what is that song from? i don't know it! :(

  • It's "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters", an early Elton John song.

  • Elton John.

  • Elton John..Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters from his 1972 album Honky Tonk Chateau :-) absolutely beautiful!

  • Nancy is blessed with a great voice, fantastic guitar playing, and ageless beauty that would make most women jealous

  • haworthhoarder I'm one of those jealous women!!!!!! lol

  • You got that right!

  • im 14 nd so glad i found Heart. i absolutely luv this song. nancy sings it so well. ann and nancy are such beautiful women. they r my heroes. HEART RULES!

  • @zebby511 ,,well done...Heart are the best musical influence one can have!!

  • Nancy is my favortie one of the band the Queen of Guitar power hands down.

  • i agree dude. eddie van halen is the king, and nancy wilson is the queen. ;)

  • @RedMustang19 and if we it the holy trinity for guitar work in The United states,

Stevie ray is the holy spirit.

  • God bless these beautiful Rock -n- Roll ladies. I love these gals! Who would have ever thought they would be the matriarchs of Rock-n-Roll when they started out their careers in the 70s? They have become that and more. They are as relavent today as ever, and I still wipe my eye to this day every time I listen to a Heart song!

  • Agree with you completely! They never fail to touch my (heart) and soul. Beauty, authenticity, talent for DAYS. So grateful for Ann and Nancy!

  • were did you get this music ps im going to see heart in september

  • I so love this woman...30 plus years and counting. The epitome of class and the very definition of beautiful. Sigh...

  • Nancy Wilson - guitar Queen!!

  • Im 15, and I'm glad to say that HEART is my favorite band ever!!!

Ann is my idol, but I must say, Nancy has her thing!!! they are both hot as hell and talented

    HEaRt ForEvEr!!! <3

  • EXCELLENT tribute vid ! Nancy and Ann Wilson are profoundly talented and eternally beautiful . They have earned the respect and admiration from millions worldwide .

  • Major talent...the Wilsons sisters make a great team...rock on gals...!

  • Nancy and Ann Wilson have not only made a tremendous contribution to music, but they are also terrific women who are mature and confident in themselves. Younger women should see them as tremedous role models, and if they don't already, they should definitely listen to their music. I've been a great fan of theirs since I was in high school thirty years ago. I'm waiting for the day that they are inducted into the Rock and Roll HOF.

  • it's a shame Roger lost Nancy they were good together. But she grew even more with Roger. she proved she wasn't a gal in the backround who just played guitar surrounded by men. But she played & took control over the band. That a gal never be shadowed by mens ego's

  • I thought for many years, love was a choice, a decision. Seeing this video reminds me... it's not.

  • Its to bad that not a lot of younger people like in their twenties never listen to them!! The people at their concerts all seen to be their ages. Kids are really missing out on REAL talent!

  • thats not totally tru. i am 14 years old and Heart is totally 100% my favorite band in the world. all my frends think im crazy. ive been tryin so hard to get them into this band cuz its tru music

  • I am 48 yrs old, but when I look at Ann & Nancy Wilson, I can still see the two beautiful rockers in their 20s. Time passes and age can be unforgiving, but true internal beauty always seems to shine out.Love ya, Ann & Nancy.

  • What a sap I am...you made me cry..with your "truths"..lol..thx

  • Thanks to Nancy and Ann for being who they are and for giving us their music throughout the years

  • Great job! I've been rocking out to Heart for 31 years and I am not tired of them yet. They should be in the Rock of Fame, I would have put them in back in 1977.I was looking on one of Loreena McKennitt's postings and one picture of Loreena when she was younger playing a 6-string guitar looked exactly like Nancy, it startled me for a moment I had to take another look. Why should it surprise me that my favorite singers/musicians look similar? Rock on!!!

  • She's HOT !

  • Is that Nancy at 2:52 with the dog?

I'm assuming it is cause I cant think of anyone else it could be.

  • Yes, that is very young Nancy.

  • Its very cute. How young do you know?

  • I'm not sure. I would imagine about 9 or so.

  • Nancy Wilson is and will always be my HERO-forever and ever! - best female guitar on the plant! This is really, really cool stuff, Mstralwind. Nice work, thank you for postin!

  • great voice

  • I never met her but have listened to her for almost 30 years. Beautiful woman, beautiful music..............

  • very nice

  • What's this song called and where does it come from?

  • The song is an Elton John cover called Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters. The recording is from Soundstage, I believe. Beautiful with Ann doing the low harmony during the chorus. Great song. Great performance of it.

  • The recording is from Alive in Seattle.

  • @mstralwind This is about my favorite version of this song. Sincere and strong. Love this very much.

  • gosh she' not only super talented, she's gorgeously elegant, the lucky bloke who married her!

  • very nice

  • I've always considered Nancy absolutely one of the most beautiful women in the world--top 5 at least. Love her music too.

  • She is a really beautiful lady inside and out.

  • With the recent covers of Heart songs by Ashley Judd and Gretchen Wilson, I've been transported back in time to the days when I was paying $7 for a ticket to a Heart concert.

I love these ladies. Their music has brought a lot of pleasure into my life.

  • Don't you mean Wynonna Judd? Ashley's the acting sister of that family...

  • a great talent

  • Love ya Nancy!

  • What an angel and what a talent, wow...I always liked Ann and Nancy alot but I'm just goin crazy on them for some reason these days...maybe retro-ing back to my college days in the Northwest in the 70's...Nancy's voice and tone is such a perfect complement to Ann's, they can sing to me til they're 100 as far as I'm concerned...man

  • Go Nancy! You were awesome on Sunday night in Orlando at the Hard Rock Cafe'!!! So much Soul, so much energy! WOOOO! Thanks for the fun!

You all gotta go see her and Ann live!

    Thanks for this lovely video!

  • Nice.

  • Thanks for sharing. Totally awesome!!!!

  • What is this song titled? It's awesome!!

  • It's an Elton John cover - Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters. I think it's on Tumbleweed Connections.

Take Heart - she kills it, right? Ann kicks as on the harmony. Very sultry.

    Andrea

  • I have to agree. I much prefer Nancy's version of the song.:) In creating this terrific slideshow you captured their love for eachother and their love of dogs.:)

  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You have made my day! Never has one individual contributed so much talent, beauty, class, and charisma as a rocker than Nancy Wilson. I Actually had cold chills throughout your video, and would drive across the country (we live in Virginia) just to SEE her in person. We saw the group in Seattle years ago, felt that Ann and Nancy were talking to US, and have never seen a concert since that moved us as much. I think I need a cold shower..

  • Nancy is love! she is so pretty Getting prettier all the time.I love you nancy!

  • I agree. She is one of the hottest looking women in music. She looks as pretty or prettier now in some ways than when she was younger.

  • Thank you for adding- great job.

  • Great Nancyyy!!!

  • WOW!

  • This is beautiful, Nancy is singing this song from her heart.

  • Nancy is my dream woman...man this is great! I had the distinct privelege of meeting her some years ago, and it is one of the highlights of my life! An angel on earth.

  • I Love Nancy and she made my life dram come true, and I hope we get to do the couch thing (Sit on a couch ) one more time while I can see you. ANN & Sister are Brilliant and should be in the RARHOF I plan on bugging you everyday to make sure HEART get's in, with all my love weefry AKA LORI

  • Hey, great photo show compilation!

I agree with others who have posted, whenever Heart does a cover song, they bring out something very special that might not have been there before.

    Just great musicians.

    see ya!

  • this is great nancy wilson is my complete idle!! Heart will live for-ever

  • Nancy did a great job with this Elton John's song, a much better version than what he did with this song. Then again, both and Nancy and Ann do such a incredible job with remakes.

  • Very Nice. I've alway been and always will be a fan of Ann and Nancy.

  • WOW!!! Thanks for the wonderful compilation. It was a stroll down memory lane!

  • nancy makes acoustic guitar very cool (she's soooo good!)

  • wow!!! Ive only come to realize over the last few years what a great singer Nancy really is.her guitar work has mesmerized me for for years.
