Modern Warfare 2 sucks so bad. I loved Call of Duty 4. Uncharted 2 should have won. And for people who are gonna give me thumbs down for saying that and then say it sucks, you should play it first, then form an oppinion. Assassins Creed 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, and lots of other games should have finised before Modern Warfare 2.

this was by far the best game ever. The story board is excellent, and the ending of campaign mode was very 'adreniline rushing', as (SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!) Sheperd goes on close combat with yourself and Mactavish, then shepard ends up stabbing you in the gut with a knive, and you have to rip the knive out of your gut. Then, you throw the knive at Shepard, who thinks you are dead, and it hits him right in his head and he dies. Nikolai then comes on a helicopter to save you. Happy ending.

I finished the game about 3 days ago in single player and seriously it was amazing, the explosions, the story, and the multiplayer makes this game unbelivable fun. In my opinion is game of the year material but there are some games that beats this one.

But i have to agree that this game does not deserve game of the year. 1. campaign was as short as Cod 4's and i was really hoping for it to be longer. plus I hated it when Ghost and Roach died. Also didnt fit Cod 4's storyline. 2. A 6 hour veteran campaign with a horrible storyline. A choatic and random multiplayer filled with killstreaks and small maps and a spec ops with virtually no replay value.

Random killstreaks, the amount of killstreaks in the air is just ridiculous, you can have 2 harriers and 2 predator missiles going off at the same time. The maps are a lot more condensed, which makes it choatic, remember overgrown or Bloc, there is only 1 map that is a sniping map and even that is infested with assault rifles.
Also the game is unoriginal with no major innovations, they're are games much more deserving to win than this overated pile of shit Ex: Killzone 2, Dragon age origins.

Yeah, I don't have PS3...or an Xbox 360. MW2 has a very short singleplayer, i completed it like...5 hours. And I heard that UC2 is like 10-hours long.
There are both great games.And yeah, I know MW2 will win because of fanboys. We could see the real GOTY awards from IGN or Gametrailers.

Im a really big CoD fan. But i have to agree that this game does not deserve game of the year. 1. campaign was as short as Cod 4's and i was really hoping for it to be longer. plus I hated it when Ghost and Roach died. Also didnt fit Cod 4's storyline. 2. Multiplayer maps on Cod 4 are way better than MW 2. half of them werent even in the campaign. 3. wish they could make gun packs for add ons on PSN or XBL. deserves to be nominated but not game of the year. Hope they make MW 3 better

A 6 hour veteran campaign with a horrible storyline. A choatic and random multiplayer filled with killstreaks and small maps and a spec ops with virtually no replay value.

Random killstreaks, the amount of killstreaks in the air is just ridiculous, you can have 2 harriers and 2 predator missiles going off at the same time. The maps are a lot more condensed, which makes it choatic, remember overgrown or Bloc, there is only 1 map that is a sniping map and even that is infested with assault rifles.
Also the game is unoriginal with no major innovations, they're are games much more deserving to win than this overated pile of shit Ex: Killzone 2, Dragon age origins.

lol GTA4 was hte biggest fail of the GTA's and Rockstar's history, the map was little cuz 360 couldnt handle a bigger one, the history was so reppetitive and the gameplay wasnt good at all. the only good point of GTA4 was that it has better graphics
