  • It was worth it to force the showdown with top 2 pairs. The guy with Set of Kings needs to fold because he's up against two guys, but 2 pairs against 1 opponent with one more bet to force showdown? And he folded? WTF.

  • 0:40 Great poker face he's got there.

  • the mistake vu maid was not that he folded. his situation was hard there was a good chance that someone had a queen. The mistake he made was broadcasting the fact the he had a hard decision and basically saying that he didnt have the queen. His behavior at the table and his inability to have a good poker face that transmit nothing or at least not openly showing everyone that he didnt have the queen and he is worried, cost him the hand.

  • i think Phil was just intimidating to other the players and pulled the bluff of , and the guy with the kings was just nervous to be on the same table with phil

  • STFU AND GO PLAY FOR REAL!! LOL

  • only chuck norris can raise all-in with 7-2 offsuit

  • It's not that amazing, since Ivey would probably not valuebet anything but a Q wich is the nuts, so they only have a bluff catcher..

  • @jerryjerry123123 Queen wasn't the nuts because of the 3 spades but yeah you are right.

  • @voodoonick

Wow watched this clip so many times, and not i realized that XD

  • u just gotta love ivey, the commentator certainly does.

  • talk about thriving on adversity, top draw phil

  • it's not fucking VU white boys it's YU fuckers get it right

  • everyones a poker expert on youtube

  • @tinyfeet101 true story ;)

  • @tinyfeet101 or so they try to act it! grrrr it gets on my nerves too :(

  • @tinyfeet101 nono dodgerguy1981 is definitely right about the nit not re-raising the turn, even ivey sitting there with KK will re-raise 3 handed. He played it bad for sure.

  • Wish I knew the size of the stacks of the KK guy and the AK guy, I can't really tell. It says that Iveys stack is about 42k after the hand, and the pot was over 39k after his river bet so he put basically his whole tournament out there on this bluff unless I am seeing it wrong. Pretty interesting hand. Either of the non-Iveys could have reraised on the turn too, but guess they didn't have the HEEAARRRT.

  • great bluff, if he had play against more aggressive player, Phil would have lose.

i think these two folders had watch the video and said "wow, we suck, we're chickens and we got bluff and we fold out." lol.

  • omg wat a dionksssss

    lololdonk

  • @shroey20 how...? ivey could easily have a queen or 2 spades, and the commentators even said he had to worry about the guy after him, and that guy only had a pair of kingo, so its an easy lay down for him.

  • way to smash your head on the turn and show everyone you dont like the possible str8 on board......lol idiot........

  • Vu played that like a donkey. Once Ivey bets the Turn card with a flush/straight board you do one of two things: Believe he's got the nuts already and fold or don't believe him and go All In. To just call with another guy behind you is plain STUPID.

Ivey saw what he was dealing with and wiped the floor with the idiots. Good on him.

  • ww w. freemoneypeople. co m !!!!! tahnk you vor the money!!!

  • Scared money. Vu and that other guy folded getting 4/1 pot odds with very premium hands. Ivey was the only one with balls at that table .

  • "vu bluffed into oblivion!"

  • @skyeguy69 I've seen Phil play since DAY 1 & I believe that he is both VERY LUCKY is likes to bluff most of the time, but point taken!!!

  • Vu played that hand stupidly. Ivey took advantage.

  • Hey guys If you want 50$ free on one of the major poker rooms of your choice message me and you just have to pass a quiz based on simple poker(it's about 20 questions), nothing hidden everything is straight forward, they are partnered with a bunch of major poker rooms, just send me a message and I can give you the link and if you have any questions I can answer them, I'm only doing this to get a few referrals and this is a great way to start off your bankroll.

  • Wasn't an amazing bluff, just amazingly bad play from the other players. Vu should have had control from the getgo but gave it up by not representing on the draw heavy flop...waaa waaaaaaaa

  • The guy with a set of king's made the mistake of not re-raising on the turn. Why flat call? Very weird.

  • @dodgerguy1981 i'm guessing he had already mistakenly put ivey on a straight (AQ, probably not Q9) and wanted to see if he could fill up on the river.

  • @dodgerguy1981

    slow play

  • @Jorka20999 yes

  • @dodgerguy1981 nope

  • @dodgerguy1981 because of 3 spades probably...

  • @dodgerguy1981 It's not that weird,he was worried someone would already have a flush and the way he saw it he was getting a free "pair the board card" against a possible flush...It was his reaction that fucked everything up and make ivey try the bluff...

  • @mhtsos12 niceee my thought

  • @dodgerguy1981 verry weird ???? there was a flush out there i wouldnt like if he raises there was no big mistake all cool just bad river for vu

  • There is a slight sheep mentality in poker. If the guy before you folds then you are also likely to fold. Vice Versa on calling. It gives you confidence to lay down your hand, if you know that the guy before you thought it out and also decided to lay down his hand.

  • vu and clark are FISH

  • i wuda all in on turn

  • Phil Ivey SUCKS. This motherfucker wins 98% of the time with a BLUFF & these stupid ass motherfuckers can`t see through that.

Study any of the tapes you ASSHOLES & you`ll play better against this jerkoff 100% of the time.

    Pathetic poker players by far...!!!

  • @couragio235 o__0

  • @couragio235

and when you call him your gonna wish you didnt

  • @C1gamingproductions I`ll take my chances!!!

  • @couragio235 is that you, viktor?

  • Comment removed

  • still, though, as scary as that board was, they WERE getting better than 3 to 1. more aggression from vu on the flop and turn with position would probably have priced them out as well as a blocking bet effect preventing anyone from getting cute like ivey did. or not.

  • Amazing...

    very well bluffed

  • anyone else noticed that ivey would only have left about 2k if the bluff gone wrong, or did i misunderstood something? o.O

  • @TomiAk47 it looks pretty early given the amount of chips in the pot. blinds were probably 100/200 in which case he would still have enough bb and time to chip up, but not by much.

  • @1skullduggery

oke thanks, it really takes a lot of guts to do such a move

  • @TomiAk47 absolutely. no limit hold me darling not for the faint of heart.

  • check out funny4moneyhoney for amazing poker chip tricks by a kid

  • H-E......I-S......T-H-E.....MEAAAANNNNNNN

  • Vu that fish didn't raise on the turn.

  • @gaminkalv

lol on a board with straight and flush possibilities in a multiway pot raising is the best way to play it. LMAO

  • swagglefuse the table

lmao. Why does that make since to me?

  • godlike

  • theres only one thing to say.

Ivey is a Poker God !

  • EVERBODY JOIN THE PPA

  • watch funny4moneyhoney and look at some awesome poker chip tricks performed by me,a kid!

  • @2:07 ivey just rips out both their hearts by letting out that "can't believe that worked" sigh at the end lol

  • "no, phil. no" *phil ivey bets*

  • Calling and losing with three K's would have sucked. Although, the chance to call a bluff from Ivey would be too great to pass up. Of course, I can't beat my 10 year old nephew in poker so what the hell do I know.

  • Comment removed

  • @TomiAk47 well, he's technically not wrong. Trips is when you have any 3 of a kind. Set is when you hold pocket cards to make trips. I'm sure norman chad knows a lot more than you do.

  • Comment removed

  • @TomiAk47 people used to call any three of a kind triplets... which then was shortened for trips. Norman chad is a good commentator, he knows what he's doing

  • Comment removed

  • @TomiAk47 he did hit trip kings??????

  • the only bad play was the guy in first position who had trips... he should have bet before ivey... he played scared and gave ivey all the info he needed to take a shot at repping the straight

  • nigger

  • @iHatezJuice: Racist pig

  • @iHatezJuice shutup redneck trash he rapes you

  • lol u all need to learn how to play poker. those two guys folded even though they had big hands because all they could beat was a bluff. ivey was clearly repping the flush plus theres four to a broadway straight. the vu guy called with top set on turn hoping to boat up. theres no point in shoving turn with top set when you're deep stacked and only going to get called by a flush. he would only have 10 outs at most to improve.

  • He basically made the correct read on a couple of tight players. I still think pocket kings should put out a raise in that situation. That would let KK take control of the hand and, if he's beat, he'l know right away. Ivey would not continue his robbery on the river. Just my opinion. GREAT READ, IVEY!

  • pokerview is open to us players as well

  • If you want 50 dollar to Bwin, Titan poker, Party poker, Full tilt poker or Poker stars go to: pokerstrategy,com/uO79LR reg in do a quiz and play the 50 dollar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's how pros become rich and famous, cause there are always idiots to fall for their tricks...

  • lol @ yu when he hit his set.. why give away weakness???

  • Man these rigged sites should be banned!!

  • @johnsmith7490 stfu moron

  • it wasn't that great of a bluff, there was a four to a straight on teh board

  • it was setted up no way to do this with tris come on

  • He is the mannnnn.............

  • the best bluff

  • Using_Referral_Code:FTUS600_at_account_sign_up_with_Full_Tilt_Poker_gets_you_a_600$-bonus

  • @lological on twitter talks about this bluff

  • @Mediumchild Oh fuck off you amateur, i hatr how all these people who just learnt poker combinations think theyre pros now this is obviously brilliant by ivey

  • Fuckin retards sayin its not that amazing, the chances he actually has a queen are not that high and he bluffs a guy off top two pair and kings set with air thats unbelievable and you couldnt have done that. Just cause people know the cards here they think they are a match for the pros. If you had those cards you be scared to death to bet

  • wuau.. that was sick

  • it wasnt that amazing dude...any queen would give someone the straight, and phil got lucky that they folded.

  • that Vu guy has the best poker face LMAO.

  • I like the way Ivey makes his river bet look like a suck-out bet by betting only 12k into 27k. Very clever.

  • @adz124ps this is the thing I also like the most about the hand..I bet if the ace doesnt hit he would bet close to pot

  • My gawd what a bluff there... :d

  • phil was lucky he wasnt against 2 donkeys these guys can actually lay down a hand. i'm impressed by the laydowns more than the bluff.

  • @shroey20 i agree with the first part of what you said but i don't see how you can be impressed by the laydowns. they both had him beat how is folding the better hand an impressive laydown? unless you were implying that these guys are donkeys and it's a miracle they laid down a hand. but that would contradict the first part of what you said....so..you got some 'splainin' to do..

  • @lancerslug311 what i was trying to say is that there were 4 cards to a straight on the board and most of the time Ivey would not be bluffing in that spot against 2 opponents. i've seen many times where there was a similar situation (like 4 cards to a flush on the board) and people always called Ive's bets and he always had the nuts or close to it.

keep in mind that Ivey would not be bluffing MOST of the time in that SPOT! even though they folded bad MOST of the time it would be correct.

  • @shroey20

you really don´t know anything about poker

  • @shroey20 don't you think that ivey has already figured out that they can lay down a big hand?

  • @mrclutch31 srsly.... this is a nice bluff. the laydowns were easy to do.

  • @moonstar892 agreed. 3 guys in the pot. they have to believe the guy leading out has a queen.

  • his hand was best anyway

  • I'd fold a royal flush to phil

  • Phil Ivey is the best poker player now.

  • seriously, it was phil ivey's reputation that made them fold.

  • @Smashing9882 and because the psycho always bets in the right spots lol

  • Comment removed

  • @Smashing9882 I know what is reputation but i cant understand how they feared him.Although the one had a very good hand 3k and the other one had 2highest pairs they were affraid of a Queen,i can understand that. But the pot i think it wasn't that big firstly, and seondly phil ivey is a monster bluffer and they must knew it.My belief against Ivey is negative. He is a great player but a big bluffer and if i were they i wouldnt fold!!!can you answer about it?

  • The best and safest way to get into poker is to take free initial cash from Pokerfrik website.

  • Wonderful! Great!

  • it takes a person with near pro skills to fold a set. yes it would've been a great call with the set of kings, but having the discipline to fold a strong hand rather than calling with it and risk losing your chips is to be respected.

  • @dh144498

    word... !

  • oh man genius

  • feel like those two guys are just retards. who da fuck would folk with trip kings, even if ivey has a flush it's still worth betting

  • @xxyanlixx

Not just the flush, but also the straight. Anyone who had a Q would have the straight. Do the math: the probability that either Ivey or Clark has a Q is 32%. There's also 12% chance that either has a flush. Together that's 44%.

So basically, Yu would be flipping a coin with his trip K's, even if Ivey didn't bet. Not such a retard after all, eh?

He wouldn't be wrong to call, but can't blame him for folding either.

  • you can only bluff good players... this bluff wouldnt often work in low stakes lol... probably not 90% of the time

  • that bluff isnt THAT amazing... actually quite easy

  • HORRIBLE folds...

  • Play poker with napster.no to get your money back when the fish gives you a bad beat.

    Napster.no

  • Man I was getting killed on these cheat sites. So glad Ive been playing webcam poker on pokerview. See all the fukin players real live man..doesnt get any better than this. The game has revolutionized!!!!

  • Did Ivey show his card?

  • @cookyik he never does

  • Ivy Factor helped!

  • If only Ivey showed his cards.... I would've laughed my head off at Vu

  • wherever phil ivey goes i will follow! he is the maaan

  • 3k vs lanadamisma phil mi idolo

  • its nowhere near as easy as it looks, these guys are top players, espsecially phil ivey, possibly the best

  • Yu had to worry about what Clark was doing too. for Clark to flat call that turn showed strength - a draw is in his range, thus Yu's fold is more than acceptable, and Clark's fold was standard there.

  • bad fold theirs a 1/4 chance for either one of those guys to have a flush, its all about the confidence

  • @mikeghiassi so, are you a calling station or what?

  • Visit the new poker club and became the new poker celebrity on Re-RaisePoker

  • If the rumors are true, he made at least one very good score by staking the Mizrachi Brothers. Mizrachis started thir carrers with free 50 dollars deposit from PokerFrik website

  • @lilcrazyaznboy - Your decision would not make sense! You have a middle power point (tris), you beat only a bluff, so you just have to call or fold.

  • Comment removed

  • @lilcrazyaznboy Just go all in and hope for the best? ROFL

  • Ivey Effect

  • Once chuck norris had the nuts, and phil ivey bluffed him out of the pot.

  • Poker isnt about luck.It is about skill and Phil Ivey :D

  • In this case he could have chosen to check raise the turn when he made the open ended straight to go with his overcards. Btwn if somebody is looking foward to start making money at poker you shoukld tkae free 50 $ from Pokerfrik website for a safe start :)

  • shouldve pushed all-in on the turn

  • he should have re-raised with his set
