the slto and the soprano are also tuned different

the alto is tuned in the key of Eb and the soprano in Bb

what makes me as a saxophonis harder because I have to transpone when I play with a giutar or with a keyboard tuned in C

no a sopran is NOT like a clarinet!

a saxophone gets bigger downwoards

a clarinet doesent thats the main difference

but nobody knows it ;)

And the clarinet has a much larger range, it's mainly wooden and it has holey buttons.

Though Adolph did base the sax off the clarinet.

@digdig66 It's more like a higher sax. They have similar ranges, but different sounds. Also, the soprano is cone shaped, and the clarinet is cylindrical. So, that changes the sound a lot.

sounds really good man. But your alto sounds a little out of tune! I think it might be the C# (aka concert E). Try adjusting your armature to change the pitch when you hit that note.
