I have seen tornadoes rip houses to peaces, I saw a murder when I was 16, I had to run from Katrina and didn't go back for a year. I think my life is interesting enough. Although Katrina was not that bad for me I think I could live without the other two. Now I have talked people out of suicide and got a few others to quit drugs but I am proud of that. The military is just a waist of time and skill.
i too have talked people out of suicide, cutting, drugs, alcohol and some other things that are not healthy for them. lol, i dont think that joining the military takes away from anything i am or how i use my morals because the Marine Corps ethos are so close to mine that it seems a natural fit. i'm not saying it's best for everyone (definitely not). but it's the choice i make for myself.
