You guys don't know what auto tune is. Just because there's some echo or something doesn't mean her voice is auto tuned. If you own a mac, and recorded your voice on Garageband, you might know what I mean. Not that I'm one, but people should quit acting like they're auto tune experts :3

you're equipment isn't really bad at all. the st55 is a pretty nice mic (if thats an st66, even better)....I would have used an sm7 for this application....more live oriented, while still capturing the essence of a good condenser; also it might eliminate a lot of the feedback problem, as it is a dynamic mic. The only reason I got rid of my st55 is because I upgraded! regardless of all this, amazing work!!! keep at it for sure!

thanks for all the feedback. my equipment isn't really that good yet i only have basic stuff. and i didn't apply reverb to the track. my preamp doesn't have reverb to begin with. i just really couldn't put the volume up because that's the loudest it could go without high frequency feedback =/

@aznshortee01 Well, if that's not reverberation there's a lot of of reflection or echoes in that room... You have a lovely voice, but what you are doing is closer to talking that singing. You could think about doing hip hop, R&B and the like
