I have to say, within the last few months, I have really really been going through!! THIS song, I remembered from when I was a young girl, has kept me from totally giving up!! I know that I know that I know the The Father is with me and is keeping me!! I have this assurance that HE will always keep his promises to see me through!!!

I truly believe that you have to be inspired by God to write and compose music that inspires other in tough times. Walter Hawkins is definitely one of those people. This song truly uplifts me and reminds me of times when things were rough, reminiscent of the Footprints poem and God has brought me through. He will be missed dearly, but his music will keep his Love Alive in our hearts.

Man, Bishop Hawkins!!!! I miss you. I was wishing and hoping for Love Alive 6. When I heard that you were working on the music for 6 before you passed, I lost it. You are still the voice of hope, love, courage, admonition, faith and salvation to us all. It must have been more than a treat to have you as a Pastor. We all are. My father broke into tears when I played this song one day. I am not a Christian (I'm not religious at all) but this song definitely touches my soul. Bishop Hawkins will always be remembered.

A sad day for me, just found out about the death of the great Walter Hawkins. He is going to be missed by many I know by his loved ones including his followers and fans/listeners which one of them is myself ..he's gone up yonder to be with the Lord..may the angels forever watch over him.
