  • I agree fully to shifta65 - I have been working in the area and I think the film does not make sense. Large scale irrigation upstream is reducing the water flow to the lake, and this is the main cause of the reduction of the water level. Moreover the suggested intervention in Oubangui river would have very serious consequences. It would be better to look at the real causes.

  • I've seen many reports asserting that the water from Nigeria's feeder streams into Lake Chad is being increasingly diverted to irrigate croplands, so naturally the flow into Lake Chad would diminish. But that has nothing to do with global warming/climate change. Also, if more people are living along Lake Chad and over-fishing the lake, wouldn't you expect less fish? This video makes no sense!

  • good point...but brainwashed global warming cult activist only hear things that support them. they refuse to listen to logic

  • Nice report, though came very late to direct attention into such huge issue facing a former french colony.coicided with a time when France was willing to send Euro troops to maintain "peace" but not to preserve the lake.

  • who ever created this is a noob

  • same in israel cyprus australia spain and many other parts of the globe
