Thank you for the kind words, I have not heard Regina Spektor's version, but the Weed's theme was done by Malvina Reynolds. I know in the second season each episode had a different version by a different artist, but the originol was by Malvina.

Thank you for sharing that. In our town there were little buildings next to each other in many different colors and my husband often sang this song as we drove by. He passed away last year and I was trying to think of the words to this song for my 14 year old daughter. Now I will link it for her on her myspace so she can hear it for herself.
