The elected officials did however attempt to give money to education only after 100% of schools already created their budgets thus most education systems could not accept the funding. If a person has their own insurance they won't have to get gov plans. If a person has a pre-existing condition they cannot be turned down the insurance companies, and some tax credits.

So along with losing my income, I lost my insurance, and don't even worry about my pension, that left with the economic collapse that was caused by unregulated markets. They aren't collecting enough tax money to cover expenditures and they aren't spending it effectively (the spending hasn't helped employment appreciably and the economy is a not recovering from the recession). I talk to a lot of other seniors who worry about their gandchildren and the fact that there will be nothing left for them when Obama is done running up the deficit. The numbers run by the CBO don't hold up to scrutiny. They've double counted, deferred payments and misappropriated funds. In the end the bill won't reduce the deficit but will cost trillions. The Kool-Aid drinkers need to wake up! Obama IS the problem. I lived in Canada for 10 years and I can tell you that Government run healthcare sucks! You are on waiting lists sometimes for years just to get a family doctor. People who want surgery, come to America otherwise they die waiting for it. There is no such thing as "Free" healthcare, the Canadians are taxed to death for it. Just because Obama hates America, doesn't mean we have to follow. Vote them all out in 2010!

@Everson1969 I don't think the bill we ended with is Canada care.
If a person has their own insurance they won't have to get gov plans. If a person has a pre-existing condition they cannot be turned down the insurance companies, and some tax credits.

*k4gdw* familycare or kidscare is another one,even if the parents dont qualify for familycare, children are never denied kidscare,not sure its a federal thing as its not available in all states, my sister has it for her and kids, $3 doctors visits and free prescriptions, free dental and i dont think there's even a life time or yearly max.

America is going down the tubes and it's the people's fault. After all we vote for these people and put them in based on what they say they will do. When they don't do it, instead of voting them out, we reelect them. We let them take what they want and just roll over. It's for our own good after all. Give them a chance, people say. Several years later we are in a bigger hole then when we started. I love the US. I was born and raised here. The president can't even say that.
