On my unholy DK i can run this 4 times an hour. takes about 13 mins per run. after putting all the runecloth on the AH for 5g a stack each(and its just an easy sell price) i make on average 200+ gold per hour, and its easy easy easy, barely a repair bill and its supoer fast. in an evening ive made 1k just on ramparts. this is true, but pallys arent the fastest class to clear this place, seen a mage do it in 6 mins lol.

i do this with my fury warrior altho i think that arms might be faster my offspec is tank but it takes me just below 11 minutes to run this once with looting everything. can run it about 4 times and hour bc i spend rest of tiem runing to vendor whatever i can bc bags are full, i AH the cloth and comes out to around 85g a run and 340gold an hour

Yeah bro you need to be TOP of the dps in Hellfire ramparts. You should ALWAYS be pulling at LEAST 7k deeps in a 60 dungeon. It's like, unwritten WoW Law. You must 100% try your best. Pretend your downing lich king. Or Pay as much attention as you do during Professor Putricide.

This is a late response but whatever.

You earn 25silver from each mob, so that alone is a shit ton of gold. You get like 2 stacks of runecloth from 1 run so that's pretty good. And all the greens+ sell to vendor for about 15g each. Pretty good. I was dual boxxing for The Hellreaver skipping mobs and not looting them all and in 3 runs i made 120g

I skip ALL mobs but first boss... Run up to platform above entrance, attack a mob and jump off... Then wait for them to all come to me and wait in bear form. Demoralizing shout, maul/shred over and over - rinse, repeat.

It works well, just use a few things, Blessing of Sanctuary / Seal of Light / Judgment of Light / Divine Plea, I guarantee you 100% it will increase your speed per run by alot :)

now i don't think you can do more then 3 runs a hr if your doing them 20mins a run. they made it so you can't do more then 3 of the same instance a hr. because frost spec mage's were farming a instance to get from 55 -60 in a few hr's and making a lot of gold while doing it.

As of the latest patch, I have 40k unbuffed, I pull half the instance, aoe, heal, kill the last bosses. Takes me about 10 mins now.

However; the chest no longer exist, removing 5g.

Plus gold is super easy to make

I've never really had issues with resetting, but I've always never tried farming it alot. This is was my burst source of gold. If I had a raid in like 30 mins and I needed gold for flasks and didn't feel like dailies etc. I'd do this.

Hello MarkARoy7, in reply to danzman69, I'd like to say that 200G an hour is possible and going back to honor hold or Thrallmar every two runs is complete rubbish. A level 80 should have at least 20 slot bags, and it you dis enchant the greens and blue you get you could do at least 4 runs before you have to go and vendor off your items. I personally have tried this, and has been a great success with on average 70G per run, roughly in an hour i make 250G.

After the new patch it is easily 200g an hour. he is right with the bag slots. Now that gear is better, I have way more life,avoidance and aoe. I can pull much faster and bigger. As you can see this video is outdated, seals are only 2 minutes. I don't farm this place much since blizzard made it ridiculously easy to make gold.

Great vid, good tip on HFR.. I tried it last night twice, 30mins both times (noob) I'll get faster but looting takes a few mins can't speed that up. Got low HP once when I made big pull and took first boss at same time. had to pop the wings and heal once but no problem.. Easy run I just need to speed it up.. ~75g pre run, Strat is still little more cash but more time and BS at AH.. Both good for cash! thanks again..

You don't have to be overly geared to do this as long as you're using the right abilities. As was pointed out above, SoL and BoS are the way to go with this to make sure you minimize your downtime.

Stick to the rotation and start off pulling small groups to get a feel for it. Once you know how you do with the smaller groups go ahead and step it up a bit.

Better gear makes for faster kills and less downtime, but it's not required for doing this.

Probably but you won't be able to take big pulls. The best classes to do it with is the plate wearers. Paladin, Death Knight, Warrior, and a Druid in bearform

a tip is to use Sanctuary instead of Kings so you never run out of mana, and use Seal of Light to regain some life :)

No offense, but have you ever played a protection paladin? Sanctuary reduces damage by 2%, which isn't much when they're hitting low. I use seal of wisdom to keep my mana up, with no mana I can't AoE. Life isn't an issue for a prot pally. After 30%, damage is reduced by 50%. Also have Lay on Hands, Bubble, Heals, and Potions if anything goes wrong.

No offense, but i have a prot pala better than yours and i recommended sanctuary not because of the damage reduction, but for each time you doge, block or parry you gain 2% of your maximum mana and the mobs in ramparts dont hit you that often
