  • thre is a saying ' the crab neva its real color was red but it did wen its pincers were thrown on hot water' u see its the same thing with humans. we always ask 'why me lord' only wen things go bad. yah even the atheist ask that question. there is a philosophical question. 'have u eva thought of sumthing that does not exist? for a wiseman once said' everything was,is and eva shall be and there4 there is nothing new under the sun'

  • Jesus Christ is here already in spirit (Rev 11:17) and gathering his own (sheep) thru the gospel (Matt 24:14). The song is warning of the final end according to revelation, when this world of wickedness is destroyed & God's sheep separated from the goats -evil/ unrepentant people (Matt 25:34-46).Then the world will be ridden of evil and the devil; and only the sheep of God remain in His earth made paradise. God is the owner of the farm (earth), Christ is the reaper with his holy angels. Matt 13.

  • One thing I love about Nigeria is that old people never speak straight, they always use proverbs and idoms. I used to hate it until i began to understand their value...

    GOD, I MISS THAT PLACE!

  • God bless u for this music.

  • This is Excellent creativity. This video is truly genuine African - Nigerian - performing arts....genuine costumes, musical instruments, dance, and language native to Nigeria...emphasized with expressions that vividly resonate the prophetic mystery and urgency of the book of Revelations. Excellent job, eyin omo naija. K'olorun maa gb'owo wa s'oke. Amin.

  • can i just say yomi was brilliant in this

  • About infinity's separation, God has plans 4 everyone, and each member of this group has individual purposes directed towards his will. Brothers in Christ grow together for a period until they are strong enough to lead their independent ministries. the purpose of these guys is NOT just for your ENTERTAINMENT, but 4 EVANGELISM and spreading the word. Remember Jesus' desciples didnt all stay together.after all, each went on to bear individual fruits!

  • @swiftiefun well said

  • It sucks that these guys are not together anymore!!

  • To my non African friends, the beauty of African dances

  • Really spirit inspired lyrics...... Hear oh men of the earth " the moth which boasts to quench the light of the lighted lamp will only kill itself" ...... "When the lion sneaks and stalks, it isnt because it is afraid" For the manifestations of its SONS is for an appointed time! The earth prepares for it has begun.........

  • i need to get this video i have not seen it here tho i will look and see if i can findit if not amma have someone look in accra for me and send it..love it so mcuh

  • if you want to get it, you ll have to ask someone who is goin home to get you a copy. I doubt if you can get it in Ghana.

  • There are Nigerians who dont like this treatment because its a Gospel song and we are conditioned to think of christainity as a western religion because of the missionaries..its not a western religion ... it does not come them so interpretations of christain sentiments can be expressed in any cultural content.. This song is as christain as anything coming out of Rome or the Church of England that we seem to think are the be all and end all of christain expression..

  • If christianity didn't come from the Western world can you please educate us all about its origin? One thing is for sure, christianity was never a Yoruba religion. Even Islam PRECEDED christianity in Yorubaland. Also, Islam was being practised in my city of Ibadan, in the ancient times, ever before David Hinderer brought his new faith and erected a church on a land in Kudeti, Ibadan. Maybe you know better than us, so teach us without bias and christian fundamentalism. Thanks.

  • if you didnt know that christainity was being practiced in ETHIOPIA long before the advent of the whiteman in africa then i suggest you go read up about it.. they most certainly brought it to WEST AFRICA .. but it did have a presence on the continent long before they got hold of us .. now, as for being a "fundamentalist" that is YOUR JUDGMENT not mine.. as for islam it has had a presence in west africa for thousands of yrs as for ibadan i have roots there too.. so what is your problem ?

  • besides i was talking about the treatment not the ideas in this video, dont like it switch it off and stop moaning and complaining you sound like an american all they do is whinge and moan like small babies..

  • Now, you have resorted to insults and abuses. See, that's what I meant by "christian fundamentalism."

  • i have told you where am coming from in terms of the critique of the video.. am not interested in kissing your ass or massaging your ego.. take it or leave it..anything else is a waste of my time and a waste of space in terms of commentary .. so i suggest you let it go as i wont be commenting again about it.. full stop.

  • Pls reserve your hatred for christianity to yourself. no one is forcing you to be one. Why are you watching this video anyways if u hate it dat much? and u are talking bout christian fundamentalism?seriously, if u dnt like Christianity then stay out of its way. I am educated and I Know my Redeemer lives, and more dan half of d europeans you mentioned share your views, let every man and woman take his or her stand. Just d way u won't like us preaching to you, jus leave we christians alone.

  • besides i dont really see anything that is modern day christianity about this peace.except that africans were following the principles that are worthy within the young christian religion which were infact african already.when i watch this peace i see African. returning to african.that which was here 140,000 years (atleast) before this astronomical mythology that was presented to us as a story reflecting history. we were the ones that lives its preached principles.the ancestors are joyous today!

  • i suggest you are less anal in your thinking or keep off this type of venue as you are bound to come accross views which dont start and end in DUGBE.. okay??

  • what took you so long?? i dont have time for your nonsense AGBAYA!! GO AWAY

  • @oloriburuku58, you'd better run away! Otherwise, you'll hear oro kobakungbe! You dopehead!

  • i luv dis osng so much... d guy doin d choerography tried so much... bless him

  • the guy doing choreography was beautiful...wow. i dance and i have for several years. and we have to let go sometimes to find what is right instead of what is wrong. da..ng i thoght the movement and the agility of his muscular body was the max. my sons dance hip hop here in california and they love it. the women too. just sweetness of africa..which by the way we know can have / offer "polished" choreography. but this one was pure from te soul. love it.

  • Very spiritual!!!

  • Nigerians....................we are talented!!

  • @anjole80 yes we are...

  • This is song is so beautiful. I have been trying to find awhile

  • 4:36-4:55 thats nice!

  • Olori Oko!!! I love Infinity... and the message in the song is powerful! Thank u Jesus!

  • thank you black men and women ...hallalujah!!

  • i love the this song and the video is wonderful

  • ewepa pls can u teach me the chorography pls pls pls

  • i know the cholography of this song

  • this music video is also sending a message across to people about rapture.

many people sin because they can't see God. they take God for granted and don't believe in him. Because God is patience doesn't mean he is not aware of our sins. GOD IS COMING SOON, BE PREAPRED!!!

  • the message this is giving is that one should give their life to christ because the end is near. jesus is coming soon to save us all. all sinners should call to repentant.

  • i thoght it meant we are coming home. like Africans are coming home. like the owners of the farm are returning. cuz euros have been squatting on our land so long and taking and taking and taking. and just becuase we stalk does not mean that we are afraid. just because we are cautious or slow to the jump doesnt mean we are afraid. as so many africans are returning home to work and build africa. give thanks

  • the best music i have ever listen in my live is so lovely:::OLORI OKO

  • Look at the simplicity of the words of the song, yet the powerful message complimented with professional audi/visual effects. If only all African groups would appreciate the beauty of fusing the magic of their music with visual images of our rich cultural heritage. The magic of Africa indeed!!!

  • fantastic

  • Man praise God!! He is so beautiful, he is praised in all tongues!

  • thanks 4 posting. i now know d meaning of d song. b4, i used 2 sing rubbish

  • haha, no probs mate, enjoy;)

  • Nice voices & videos, keep it up!!!

  • This is an excellent song,am glad i can hear what it says....in "the owner of the farm is still coming back" reffers to the coming back of christ. there so many adorable things in the context of the priginal lyrics,I pray God gives me the strength to write it our it full context....

  • Amen.

  • amen too

  • lovely

  • God bless you

  • amen, and u 2 mate:)

  • Beautiful!

  • wat is this whole argumaent bout..............u guys sit, listen and enjot this inspirational song...........

  • this is a finished work, a piece of good work, and good message.

  • dis song is nice.

da translation aint dep enough. u hav 2 b able 2 speak da lanuage 2 fully understand it.

( most of da phares used r proverbs, which yorubas love 2 use, it giv u a deep meanin or understandin bout tings)

  • aaahh...i dont speak the language perse but i do so feel the depth....give thanks..

  • best Nigerian gospel song video so far, and i agree with oonnyxx, no word can describe the spirit that flows with it

  • No word is enough to describe the spirit that flows with this great song...."wonderful"

  • beautiful beautiful

  • The music is greatly formulated.

  • Thanks for all contributions i will say enjoy the music and relate to it the best way.I will say this music is a masterpiece from these guys.My Brazilian has listened to it more than 30 times and he relates to beat so if love the lyrics enjoy it and if it is the wordings enjoy it also. Thanks to the uploader.

  • u're welcome am glad y'all love it, God bless y'all;)

  • I'm not yoruba and as a result never understood what they were saying until i saw the video with the lyrics.

I love the video, and on seeing the lyrics, the song has grown on me and i now sing it all the time.

This ain't about Sango, but a well made senseible and thought provoking piece of music.

JESUS CHRIST, THE OWNER OF THE FARM (WORLD) IS COMING HOME! WE BETTER GET READY FOR HIM!

I LOVE IT! I LOVE THIS PIECE!

  • the song is good sha,it won many awards

  • WOW!!! This is very powerful.

  • The message of this song is very clear. The music is excellent balance of tradition and Praise.

I see it as an original and excellent work of art and a product of great artists. This work is truly "Infinity". It's unreachable. Keep it up. Edenaicom

  • If it was from Hollywood, you will probably rate it 100% without any critical look. We Africans need to appreciate whatever that comes out of that continent and believe in what we can do not looking up to a white man for help as they are only interested in whatever they can get from our resources.

  • well said mate.

  • This comment is directed to "toammyb". You need to appreciate the song as it is and stop putting down the effects. Before whites came to Africa in the name of Christianity to steal and enslave Africans because of greed, we, Africans had a religion and a sound culture that defined us as a people. Kindly appreciate the effects and look outside the box.

  • i agree with u mate.

  • I agree with you, bjnockle even though I am not totally sure what toammyb's beef is all about but I must say,Africans have been mesmerized by western religion that they forgot that they had a better religion coupled with complete understanding of and respect for the nature around them.Sango remains respectable in Africa and South America,so I don't understand why anybody would have issue with that concept of faith.

This video is probably about the return of Jesus Christ, Olori oko, good for them.

  • what stupid afrcian religion u mean the one that has put africa in bondage till this day God forbid we go back do u how much God has saved Nigeria from. I thank God for sending christ from gods that could not hear or see These so called gods from the african religion u think is so fantastic can not save themselves let alone others Jo jo pls leave Nigeria Oh It is the blood of Christ and his grace that is allowing us to grow n break strongholds that held us back for so long.so leave africa alone

  • The classic problem with those Africans who claimed to have accepted christ is that they can't see beyond their nose, most point to their father's house with left finger. They have allowed their pastors to remove their native intelligence and replace it with slave-like obedience. Why for instance is this one calling his forefathers stupid for daring to fashion their own religions, which recognized and respect God almighty and take a story handed out to him from someone else's fabrication.DUMB

  • n another Ting Jesus did not bring a religion let alone a Western religion. If u research and read the bible well Jesus brought a Kingdom, through out his life time that he preached he kept talking about a Kingdom pls check he talks about a kingdom this is because Adam did not loose a religion he lost Dominion(in hebrew it means Kingdom) pls research and check urself. Therefore God will not restore us to a religion because man did not loose a religion to begin with. Man lost a kingdom!!!

  • I wont fight with you if your call your great gradfather stupid, heck, I wont even raise a voice if you dismiss your whole family as stupid, but I will contest any attempt by you or anybody to interpret the bible of jesus christ to me. The fact of the matter is Adam is not related to me and I don't know enough about jesus to claim him as my lord. Heck, I don't even care to speak Hebrew.I am not a christian, by choice and you shouldnt be offended by that, I like my forefathers' religions.

  • No u dont understand i am not calling my forefathers stupid it is the things they did i am calling stupid there is a difference, u see wat u dont seem to understand is that the things we do affect generations to come which is wat things lik slavery, idolatry etc do. its a ripple affect that can lasts 4 generations to cum u see it now, if the religion of are fathers were that fantastic it would hav saved us n still be able to save us but i promise u it cant.

  • The religion brought by MY forefathers saved My people from all the ills you find in the (Christian) world today. In the days my forefathers religions took hold, if you swear by Sango to serve the public, u would do so and not rob ur people blind. Today, public officials take oath on the bible / quaran and leave to steal public money. In those days, u would leave ur produce on the farm path and nothing would touch it. Today, ur home is not even safe. Christianity has not helped Africa one bit.

  • u don wanna be tourched by the angry arm of God...do you mean u prefer the idols to the living God ?!

  • Goddess!! thank you so much for this...whouuoou...the blindness that comes with christianity and islam has us in a stupor. all we have to do is open our eyes and see the hell fire. hell just look to the niger delta. da... it aint even that far. and for that matter the same oil companies here in texas and other places. true our traditional practices held all of God's creation sacred. and the "word" was breath of God thru us. Not to be played with but honored.

  • tobisogba, i met a missionary and we correspond for a few weeks. she was an elder white woman. she told me that the missionaries always traveled with a linguist. and they would translate everything and they would find out what the people liked disliked, feared, loved.how many men there were and women and children. how far the next village was and what the population was there. this info was sent back to a headquarters. slavery and christianity were dual during the colonization of africa.

  • and u not believing in Jesus is simply ur choice i am not trying to convert u, because God himself will never force himself on u he is the ultimate gentileman so if he wont force who am i. And i dont no about christianity now days but i promise that what Jesus brought (the kingdom of heaven) is not a religion all humanity are looking for this kingdom, this gonvernment, everything seems to be failing socity is an organised mess and God saw this and sent bac the Kingdom to restore us

  • There is a difference between God & jesus. God belongs to all while jesus is an invention of christianity. As to sending "the kingdom to restore us" the Yoruba, in their wisdom, had a different and probably story, & it was before the whitemen found Africa: Eledumare sent Osun, the only female with others to come & restore peace into the world, the male ignored Osun who had the bag of wisdom & went about looking for solution, finding none they went back to God and God directed to back to Osun.

  • Once again man did not lose a religion humanity lost a kingdom (dominion over earth). Jesus came and brougth wit him this kingdom in which we lost. ne way my friend thank u for all ur veiws and comments. it was really nice talkin 2 u thank u. God bless u.

  • If Jesus had brought his Kingdom what Kingdom did he tought his disciple at Matt 6:9 to ask his father in the heaven let thy kingdom come? (The Lord's prayer)

  • jesus will bring his kingdom, ( on da lsst day.) wat do u think dey are sing bout. wen jesus comes den he shall bring his kingdom.

  • Yeah, stay in the abject ignorance of your own history and proclaim kingdom of which you know very little except what you are fed. Good luck to you. You may want to change your name to Ishmael or something of that nature and drop every pretension of being a yoruba.

  • i'm a christain n even as young as i am i kno alot bout my tradtion, culture n history.

christianity aint foreign 2 a christian b'cos wen u giv ur luf 2 christ he comes 2 liv within u meanin u'll get 2 kno him n since it's a personal relationship. God will speak 2 u. ( jus lyk if u hav a friend both of u get 2 kno each other)

  • that is God with in. before we knew of christ or jesus we as africans understood God in a sacred way. thogh we often had varying was of worship or ritual we did not in general that God is infinite. and within all living things

  • i hear that there is no historical records of this jesus.not meaning to insult you. but that research shows that someoen that did all of the things that are said to be done by jesus, you would think that he would have been documented. but not. however, we africans have long believed in and used mythology to teach and prepare us.

  • no it's no insult...it is utterly untrue! JESUS DID WALK THE EARTH.... and like this song says, he is coming back soon. The fact that the cat is away doesn't mean we mice can play forever coz he is returning. Read Revelations, my friend. Certainly on the day of judgement we all will know 'for sure' whether or not Jesus did come to save us all from this junk world and our sinful selves...till that day I CHOOSE to believe JESUS, the Lord of the Harvest.

  • thank you... as you said to me to read the bible, i would suggest reading something else like history. if we keep our heads stuck in the sand of the bible we may not recognize what Jesus really is. we have to read more. read some history so we can put the wonderful African mythology used int he bible to use to aid in governing our lives, not our death. EVERYDAY is judgment day. Everyday.that is how God lives in us and through us. thank you for you spirited comment.but we as a people that created

  • why then is it that the whole of africa since these two religions christianity and islam has been like a hell fire since their introduction. i was just reading a letter from the king of the kongo Mvemba(christian confused alfonso) not understanding why they were seizing all of his people. and begging his brothers in the lord to heed their words from the bible and stop taking the people and their is now conflict in his land amongst tribes and within tribes.all we need from you are priest and....

  • pls do not complitely dismiss Christ, i promise u u will be pleasently surprised and another thing how do u no u are not related to adam. God never said adam was white or black or ne race for that matter but all man came from him.

so matter wat it is ur choice.

  • For one thing,Adam was a Jew & if u know ur bible as u claimed u do, u should find a passage there tracing jesus back to Adam and Eve. I am a Nigerian, a Yoruba & I love being a yoruba because the more I read about my history the more I respect what my forefathers did. I suggest you do the same. I suggest u read books on the Yorubas, I suggest u learn about the civilization of ur people. I suggest u read about their influences on West Africa, South, Central America and the West Indies.

  • wait u think i dont no about my people of course i do but u c Jesus is God but in the form of man many find it hard to believe dat God would want to dwell among His creation. I promise u in the time of trouble and i am not talk flimsy things i means wen ur life n ur families life depend on it Shongo will not save nor will ne god for that matter i promise u heaven itself can vouch 4 me wen i say this only Jesus can save. I hope u never go through sumthing that ur soul will not be able 2 hold

  • Point of corection..Jesus is the SON of GOD and not GOD itself. God's name is called Jehovah.

  • u most be a jehovah's witness, anglicans belives in trinity hope u know.

  • Yes i am one of Jehovah's Witness

  • to life, and Adam was not a Jew in fact there was no single mention of His race pls u to do ur research. And another thing Jesus was not a religious leader he neva claimed 2 b in fact he rebuked all the religious leaders of his time. But wat he did claim was kingship Christ was a king. U see a King is not voted into power nor can u give him the title or power. He Just is. In other words he is born a king. Its not a matter of wat u or i believe U can not stop truth is eternal.

  • I love being nigeria n yoruba pls dont not get it twisted. But i promise u wen death arrives which it will and it comes 4 all mankind yoruba oh or nigerian will be irrelivant, eternity displaces all those things. I will not deny it christianity has done a lot of damage but that is the religious ones. Religion does not save but the kingdom of God does this is wat Jesus brought with him. Jesus came 4 ALL MEN. Nigerian, jew, white name it. He came for all those who want him and 2 enter his kingdom.

  • u can only trace Jews back to Adam but can not trace Adam back to jews. Becos before there was anything like Jews, Adam has been there right from d begining.

  • Everybody is an expert! I wish you people will learn about your own culture first before venturing into areas that are foreign to you.

  • ok i said enough...for once. but we must learn to read more than the bible and the koran. we must learn to read and study that which is hidden in anthropolgy. which they call prehistoric to deter us. becaus that is where so much of our history is. information on our culture.

  • it is called special effects for music videos.

  • wat's with the portrayal of sango in the video? i mean where the sango haired man did some fire thing and lightening struck? each time i watch this video, i see smth new to be skeptical bout!

  • just cos a man has his hair braided, he has to represent Sango? I don't think so. Isn't he just the drummer? I think I've seen other videos of the song without any lightening or whatever.

  • I am sure, naijanawa,u know that,in our culture, only male sango followers braid their hair. Though it is meaningless today, we still need to remind ourselves of our old ways, when everything has its place. A man who dies by the river is buried there, the man who falls from palm tree is never buried in town,a debtor loses respect in the community,a murderer is murdered,a thief is severely punished,an adulterer is not spared. These are some of our rules and they served us well. Sango, Arabami, Iba

  • save the stories, I know all that but like u said, hair braiding among men is meaningless today, it is just a matter of choice and not necessarily religion.

  • I'm a Yoruba man and know a bit about Sango, but when I watched this for the first time, the thought never even crossed my mind 'till I read your post. I honestly think it's just harmless special effects here and nothing to do with Sango. And I must say this video is an excellent work of art. Something to be proud of, first as a Christian and as a Nigerian.

  • i beg no mind toammyb comment, irregardless of what you said he/she cant help but skeptical because that is who he/she is especially given the fact that the video was translated. abi i lie?

  • u are very correct mate

  • This is a beautiful song!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • This song is just beautifuk. It reminded me of Zambia then I saw ur video with the lyrics. Coooooooooool & deep. I wish them the very best. And u too.

  • thanx a lot,i wish u the same.i'm glad u liked it.

  • their best video ever!!!

  • this guys did a good job......
