Yes, they're starting to get mainstream. I've been listening to this band for 7 years now. I think they deserve it. They have a strong message that needs to heard across the country. Obviously the people complaining don't get the message and is too ignorant to understand what they are trying to do. This band has helped me through think and thin. I don't care if you don't like them, this band is my idol.

Also, people not liking new Rise Against has next nothing to do with their understanding of the lyrics. More about their understanding genre roles and motivations behind them. When punk bands go mainstream people tend to get offended because, usually, it's money talking and punk bands tend to stand against that. Henceforth, going mainstream tends to alienate those fans.
