  • The best part that I like ...

"Oh Lady Mary I still search for the traces of your soul

In my heart and in the hearts of the people I know"

We gatta find good in others no matter what.

  • He has a beautiful voice! Wow, I had no idea about this guy.

  • Actually traditional american culture and muslim culture have almost nothing in common, thats why a muslim country singer is so bizarre.

  • @mik0logy why u watching this then? no really cared bout ur oppinions

  • @Mumtahin why am i watching? because i wanted to see a muslim country singer. country culture and islam culture are nothing alike, that is why people find a muslim country singer bizarre.

  • wow. beautiful

  • ohh lady mary holy heart.. pray for us..we love you.

  • SubhanAllah....Brother Kareem, your efforts, words, voice and intentions are truly commendable.....Jazakallahahu Khair for this beautiful beautiful song.....I am truly humbled !

  • so nice.... :D

  • As a Roman Catholic this song makes me think of the blessed mother. I cannot recall what Islam says about Mary. is this the same Mary that he is singing of?

  • @dhargetezan

yes it the same mary jesus's mother.

    the stories are slightly different

  • @dhargetezan

in islam we have a lot of respect and love for mary mother of jesus, she has one of the highest stations in our religion, a truly wonderful inspiration to all mankind, we even have a whole chapter of the Quran (holy book) dedicated to her :)

  • @dhargetezan

    @dhargetezan

Both Roman Catholics and Muslims have great respect for Mother Mary. In the Catholic faith- we believe that Mother Mary married Joseph and remained a virgin her entire life and they raised Jesus (as I'm sure you already know)

  • @dhargetezan

Catholics believe that Mary was and still is a virgin and raised Jesus and was married to Joseph.

In Islam, however, (this is only what I've heard, so if I'm wrong, please forgive me) they also hold her in great respect and believed she was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus, but they don't believe she was married to St. Joseph- and that people called her a whore and whatnot- hence the "I wish I was there to defend you" lyrics.

  • Someone on an Islamic radio show once said, "Are you looking for the perfect, most devoted Muslim woman? It's Blessed Mary." @dhargetezan

  • Our beautiful beloved mother, Mariam.Mashallah!

  • Mashallah!!!

  • could somebody please tell the chords for the guitar??? I love that song!!!

  • Good luck Kareem Salama

  • Good luck Kareem

  • I apologize, and yes you could say I started this dispute only because I was offended by the choice of the users name "Muslimgrils" I despise this form of advertising, some people may be offended if I was to use a name like "ChristianMan", but then why would I unless I am looking for trouble or trying to make a statement.

  • ok I am sorry I love kareem salam he is one of my favorite singers loooool just incase u dont know I didnt start it lol all Iwant is peace lol again I am sorry

  • so you dont wanna leave me alone? dont you? I enjoy my life the way it is I am not waiting for someone to change it I thought you hate me why do you follow me I know I will be judged on the day of judgement but I never did something bad as far as I remeber, your the one who holds hate for muslims and you will be judged on that I believe in one God the God of Abrahim and I know my god is merciful and he will forgive you if you repent so what do you say wanna convert?

  • @roycpc464 u guys please dont argue here, i posted a song that i felt had beautiful lyrics, if u dont agree thats up 2 u every1 is entitled 2 their opinion no1 is wrong, theres no need 2 bring religion in2 anything we shud all become accepting of eachother, misunderstanding and ignorance r the basis of the chaotic and racial society we live in, dont give in, spread the peace :)

  • @roycpc464 Obviously you've been watching too much trash. There is no single verse in the Qur'an or a single hadith that states anything of the sort. Read the Qur'an -- “Let there be no compulsion in religion." (Qur'an 2:256); "Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans - those who believed in God and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve." (Qur'an 2:62).

  • @Muslimgrils u guys please dont argue here, i posted a song that i felt had beautiful lyrics, if u dont agree thats up 2 u every1 is entitled 2 their opinion no1 is wrong, theres no need 2 bring religion in2 anything we shud all become accepting of eachother, misunderstanding and ignorance r the basis of the chaotic and racial society we live in, dont give in, spread the peace :)

  • Man i usually dont like county music but this guy rules I really like all his songs

  • @Muslimgrils Yes just keep deleting the truth your time will come when you will be judged upon your actions!

  • wow... his lyrics are beautiful mashallah...

  • Absolutly beautiful. My name is Muhammad Kamran and I am a Muslim. I love your songs and this is one too.

Good job my brother Kareem :) Allah swt see's the trouble and the jobs we do to help. I will certianly include you in my next pray. Salaam, peace to everyone.

and once again beautiful song.... beautiful voice too ;) .. take care x

  • WHAT A GREAT SONG KREM. I'M GLAD I MET U AND WORKED WITH U

  • Man I like you r music.

  • .An American Muslim who's parents are from Egypt

  • This guy could sing in any country or culture... great voice. Would already be a #1 singer were it not for his background.

  • Instrumental music such as this is haram. You should sing nasheeds instead.

  • @jihadifanclub : Using internet is haram, it's full of pictures of human. You should sell your computer.

  • @MagisterHamid Actually things are halal untill proven haram. Internet is not haram because nothing from the koran indicates that it is. However certain things on the internet are haram and obviously can't be viewd. Photographs are not haram. Only man made pictures of humans and animals are. Except if the pictures are used for children. Peace.

  • @MagisterHamid LOL !!

  • Comment removed

  • @friyaz I'm sure people said the same thing to Muhammad (pbuh) when he told them instrumental music was harm also. Some people just hate the truth...even Muslims.

  • @jihadifanclub you are a troll. you love fighting, you hate peace. this song is peaceful and was strong enough to make me pick up the Qur'an and read about Maryam today, truly an ideal woman. You, on the other hand, only annoy and came to this page to be rude and disrespectful. Some people don't know how to get along with others and live in peace... even Muslims :(

  • @friyaz Actually I am not a troll. Muhammad (pbuh) said that there will we thoses in my ummah that will make legal wearing of silk, fornication, the drinking of alcohol, and the PLAYING of MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. Would I have made you happy if I had LIED and told you that this music is halal? The problem with Muslims today is that MOST choose to follow culture and their own desires instead of following the will of Allah (swt).

  • @jihadifanclub You know, in MY opinion, the problem with Muslims today is that instead of supporting each other, we argue about petty things. Maybe you can find someone with whom you agree about something. Then, maybe the two of you can do something constructive.

As for musical instruments, I would love to see some sort of valid citation. The only thing I could find related was a verse about how much our Lord swt dislikes people who make up their own rules about what is haraam (you).

  • @jihadifanclub Until then, you should probably strip your profile picture of all those images that contain faces. Wouldn't want you to go to hell because of that face of Malcolm X. Some idiot like you might forget that we don't worship idols, and might start praying to it

  • Thanks for posting, I can't believe I had never heard of Kareem Salama.

  • Masha Allah! I love Kareem Salama for the sake of Allah (God)! This is beautiful and I hope he keeps doing what he is doing!! May God send peace and blessings on Mary (Maryam) and her son, Jesus (Isa). Amin!

  • Wow this is so cool. I always thought traditional American culture and Muslim culture had a lot in common. And here you have it -- a Muslim Country singer!

Thank you for this. I'm glad I found it.

  • @powelltg i think ur right. listening to him makes me think the way its sung is similar to how other nasheeds are sung.. in the country style. but he is obviously the ORIGINAL country singer lol. love this song.. i love Lady Mary alhumdulilah.
