Wrong...Lugar was a great talent. Look at the way WCW used him from 89 till he left in mid 92. He was a superstar and a high sought after talent which is why Vince Mcmahon signed him to the first WWF garenteed contract ever in 1993. His presence in 1993 saved the WWf from being completly laughable, and for all those critics that have come out of the woodwork, they are just mad he got the push and they didn't. Its that simple!!!

Faces put people in the seats, and Hart was never over much as a face. Luger was 3 different times, -

96-97 WCW

Shit when luger won belt in august 97, he was more over than anybody ever. Every single person in the building was screaming, and he didnt need A SINGLE CATCHPHRASE.

I don't remember Luger ever being that over at all. WWE picked Bret to win the title at WM X instead of Luger because Bret was more over. Period.

The people screamed because Hogan lost the title, not because Luger won it. Luger never drew a dime, and Bischoff has said that he only let Luger back into WCW because Sting asked him to. Luger had zero charisma whatsoever.
