  • They saw it coming. Amazing.

  • The music is great and also the voice of the singer...

But the shit thing is,this is a Naziband....

  • @TheMisterPerfecto Hahahahah what the fuck are you talking about? No they aren't! You are misinformed, my friend.

  • @Deflecto3

Well, did you know that ''Blood and Honour'' is a Nazi organisation....<.<

  • @TheMisterPerfecto Yeah but this Album is HONOUR and BLOOD. Not the same. There is an Anti-Nationalist band called Wolfpack from Sweden. Does them being called Wolfpack make them nazis?

  • @Deflecto3

    Well,thanks for your information,...

  • @TheMisterPerfecto also: blood and honour was founded 1987, while this song is from 1984

  • @TheMisterPerfecto

Blood & Honour is a neo-Nazi music promotion network and political group founded in 1987, in 1984 TANK released Honour & Blood, the two are very most likely not related at all. Labels Kamaflage, Music For Nations, Spiritual Beast/Zoom Club....None of those labels are affiliated with the Neo-Nazi party. Please don't jump to conclusions.

  • Those are affiliated with BMG.

  • @Blackinterceptor999

Yes,thanks for it and I am sorry for my stupid comment ._.

    Well,I guess,it was n00by

  • @TheMisterPerfecto No biggie, at least you knew a bit of your history and can admit when wrong, its more then most would do nowadays, heck even I have troubles with that!...Just ask my wife, lol!...Anyhoo, enough history class, lets crank the music!

  • No band attempting to cover this song, will ever do it justice.

  • @Deflecto3 except motorhead, they should cover each other

  • @TheIronMotorPriest Yeah, if they did it like 15 years ago haha. Tanks new singer is kinda meh...

  • @Deflecto3 'Tank's new singer? LOL there arent any original members atall, ao they should bes called 'rank' ALGY IS TANK!

  • @TheIronMotorPriest They've only had 2 singers. Other members are a different story. New Tank is kind of a bummer... Especially when the did new recordings of old songs... It's like Discharge... Shit should have stopped in the 80's. But Algy was Tank. No one else.

  • that son of a bitch got I do not like...

    just boil....xdxdxdx

  • Musica FUDIDA!

  • questo disco è un capolavoro, possibile che non se lo è cacato nessuno ?

  • yeah, reading the lyrics it is just wierd. In a time when most people were afraid of China or Russia, these guys wrote a song about Islamic radicals and a long war that no one truly understands.

  • I can't believe a godawful R&B artist shares the same namesake as a legendary band such as Tank. He should be ran over by the treads of this mighty band for desecrating something as awesome as a tank!

  • if this song had come out around this time it would be critisised up the ass but still an awesome song

  • Coolest album art of all time?

  • I was to a concert in Denmark in the 80`s with Tank. And that was just fucking great.

    Great Band

    Long Live Rock n Roll

  • I just love this track ,,,,,,, i was well into '' TANK '' when they came out etc... saw them on a T.V. programme for teenager's after school etc... i think it was called '' jangle's '' they played live in a T.V.youth club ,,,,, '' pure hatred '',,,,,,,,,,,,

  • the beggining reminds so much to nightcrawler from judas priest !

  • fuck its so hard to find music that doens't suck!!

  • @o00o0o0o0o0o no its not you only have to search for metal

  • i heard this yesterday in a car... stoned..

OMG why didnt i heard this before???

  • @mpampakos Haha i love listening to Tank while stoned :)

  • Do none of you idiots realize that the 70's and 80's was exactly when the Muslim extremist movement emerged? They're not prophesying 20 or 30 years from now, they're talking about the crazy shit that was going down right then and there. It just happens to be similar to what's going on right now, mostly because the same damn thing has kept happening for the past 40 years.

  • @revjoe250 haha I know right. How misinformed. Anyway, I never knew this was about the Iran-Iraq war. From the lyrics though it seem more like an attack on religious extremism and Khomeini's regime, than just a muslim bashing song.

  • for sure, talented men were once prophets.

  • First time I ever heard these guys. Pretty sick

  • This is so fuckin great!

  • One of the absolute best metal songs ever!

  • Strange how a song composed by an unknown band two decades ago has more relevence today than when it was written. This is like a freaking prophecy....

  • Good song, but bigot lyrics me thinks. I'm gonna search for "full metal jacket".

  • Pretty prophetic to be sure. This tune captures something about the subject that you can just about feel

  • 1 dislike....dude musta clicked the thumbs down on accident. that's allright man, we all know whatcha really ment, it happens! :D

  • This band fuckin rules! Me and my friends in Sweden(now aged 40+) we all loved this band!

  • Such a great song.

  • This is it!!!!! kill em all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tank have never been what i would consider to be a deep intellectual type band. But when it comes to songs about war they capture an element of it that rarely shines through. Through the aggression, intensity, speed and power. There is a feeling that things are out of our control.

The lyrics speak about a war that we've run into blindly with a foe that has had their mind warped beyond reason.

A war that was set in motion before any of us were born, that drags forever on.

  • Great intro, Great lyrics, Great solos, Great tune.... ¡Great song! \m/

  • Funny, it's the second metal song I hear dedicated to the Iran-Irak war of 1980-88.

The other was "Resolution 598" by german thrashers Assassin.

But, Algy, it wasn't really hard to understand the motives of that conflict, if you paid enough attention...Saddam was acting the West's stooge to grind Iran down and keep oil prices low.

  • GRRRREAT!!

    Fuck the islam!

  • @pekka1972 No, just fuck extremists.

  • Comment removed

  • @pekka1972 HEY! FUCK YOU! IM A MUSLIM! JUST CUZ IM A MUSLIM DOESNT MEAN IM AN EXTREMIST!

  • Algy is the man and this track (and the whole album) kicks ass!

  • The intro really makes me shiver because of its tension. FUCKING GREAT! I remember me and my friends banging to this one for minutes and really sweating the shit out!

  • The intro really makes me shiver because of its tension. FUCKING GREAT!

  • 1:10 blasts smoke out of my ass!!!this is one of the heaviest parts I know in Heavy Metal.

    Also great lyrics..

"The War drags ever on" There will never be peace with the Muslims!

  • @IsraeliMetalhead

You idiot, this song is about Iran and Irak.

  • @RealKull So?still the lyrics have the same point think deeper fucktard

  • this was one of my first metal albums!!(the first was Bark at the moon,enslaved-eld etc..)

This band is sooo purely metal!

  • awesome track that is still powerful and surely must have influenced the thrash movement - yet it still manages to be strangely melodic - brilliant post - thanks!

  • I'm twenty and this is fucking awesome.

  • A true classic, from the golden age of metal.

  • fairly prophetic lyrics if you think about it!!!

  • Holy shit are you ever on the money there!! This band saw what was coming 30 years ago!! eerie.

  • @PunChonChin heavy metal is a very weird thing

i've found lots of bands predicting the future

they must all be fortune tellers lol

  • @MrStephenTaylor

No, they just watched the news, this song is about the Iraqi invasion of Irak which dragged on for eight years (1980-88).

  • @PunChonChin

    I agree 100%

  • No, Eddie Clarke produced the first album "Filth Hounds of Hades".

    NWOBHM will rise again.

  • was this one of the albums eddie clarke helped produce?

  • AMAZING INTRO.

  • So fuckin great.Brings back memories from the metalyears in the 80s.

  • Kill KIill Kill Kill!!!!!!!!!

  • thanque you or gracias from spain

  • The most underrated band in existence.

  • @monkeymagoo47 Couldn't have said it better myself.

  • listened to this on vinyl the other weekend. AWESOME!

  • seriously this song is my favorite song to wake up in the morning, listening to it almost every morning :D

  • its to remind you the war of life drags ever on haha

  • Wish I was alive when this came out :(

  • Lmao, dude, you have no idea how old you just made me feel, lol!

  • a few of my friends say the same thing. i tell i was born around when Cliff died, and they tell me to "shut the fuck up. i saw him play 3 times!"

i really love the NWOBHM bands from the late 70's, early 80's. wish i was 20 years older :(
