@m1938mauser The fighting system was made after the dice rules from "the dark eye" This is standard in Drakensang. It sure takes some time to get used to it, but belive me, you will like it after some playing time. Drakensang the river of time is a finished game, DTP Labs are not such greedy bastards like other game making companies... You should try this game and see for yourself buddy. I have it and I play it now for the seventh time, because the game is so awesome.. especially the story

Just look in the game folder or where the save games are there is a simple config file where you can change the resolution. I'm playing it just fine at 2560x1440 on an iMac (with Bootcamp/Windows 7). Game runs smooth on a simple ATI 4850, with Vsync on. It goes down around 25 FPS in the market of Nadoret. Most other places it goes up to 40 fps or more. The screen tearing is real bad and in the french version was no vsync option, so I had to use some ATI tool to force vsync.

Will you be moving on to the 6xxx series of cards? Game looks really pretty, problem is that there is a lip synching issue, and the character mannerisms and movement when talking just dont seem to "fit".

I am following the developments from both AMD and Nvidia, so whichever offers the best proposition, will likely get my money. I may skip this generation altogether. Dunno yet.

As for the game, I think it's Ok. Don't forget it was in German first, so some lip syncing may occur.

@NAHLASAMA I played NFS 5 (pretty cool), NFS 6 (I like it), NFS U2 (very good, love the atmosphere), MW (I can't imagine I play it on keyboard with camera behind the car, because the car shaked so weirdly, but with hood cam and steering wheel it was quite cool, I like the music in dramatic moments. I also tried Carbon demo but it seemed horrible. Pro Street was quite ok, but strange lags I had in the game. Undercover...I don't remember but I tried it, Shift demo didn't work and NFS online=shit
