The costumes rocked!!! they were made by the guy that made those of Pan's Labyrinth, wich by the way, won several prizes for the costumes alone. The storyline was very good, althoug looked little like Lord of the Rings and the URUK-KAI army. Bottom Line= Great movie!!!

Did she 'Research and Development'? It's Research and Defense! Anyway, it's rare that a sequel is better than the first, but I think HB2:GA was DEFINITELY better! One other thing (and this is not meant to be mean) G.DelToro and Mike Mignola (the creator of of our favorite red monkey) work on the movies together 100%. If Mignola doesn't like something, DelToro scraps it. So, people who hate the movies cause they aren't 100% like the comics can suck it cause Mignola approves them! XD

The last line, about Bilbo and the extra eyes, is just about right. Del Toro does have some sort of freaky eye thing, I haven't seen a movie of his that doesn't have at least 1 or 2 monsters with eyes in totally wrong places. But I think his instinct serves him well - the eyes-in-his-hands, eyes-on-his-wings, eyes-running-down-the-sides-of­-its-body thing definitely screams "unnatural."

The monsters in this movie creeped me out; they're like the things that were hiding in your closet when you were little. Unpleasant. But I liked the rest of the movie, especially the duet Hellboy and Abe Sapien sang. I also really liked the Prince and Princess. Fascinating characters, well acted and you could certainly see the Prince's point, more than any villian I have ever seen, I think.

This is a great movie.

For one thing, Guillermo Del Toro uses CGI appropriately. That is, to touch up existing special effects.

Animatronics and Prosthetics are employed wherever possible, and most of the time I didn't even notice any CGI.

The fact that the villains were so sympathetic, and the juxtaposition of protagonists and reckless disregard for the safety of the world is refreshing and intriguingly disturbing.
